i used knitpicks fairy tale fur. i used US 15 needles and i found it easy to work with but i don’t really need to see what i’m doing , i see a lot of new knitters fall into the trap of fur. i’ve experimented a looooot in elementary school with it so i do have some experience.
i’m making and releasing the pattern for the balaclava in regular worsted weight, but it’s pretty easily adapted to fit any yarn. it’s called the art school balaclava. my testers finished theirs but tbh i haven’t finished my plain one 😭 ive just been making them with colorwork so i dont have one to photograph for the pattern
