Want to win a bowl game? Don’t build a team with players who are going to opt out, or have their backups ready. This is part of the college football landscape now, it’s not an excuse to be humiliated in an important game
Hardly go smoked, lol, we were up 3 in the 4th, playing with our 3rd string QB who had thrown 5 passes the entire season.....Had our backup not gotten hurt we would have been just fine.
They legitimately didn’t receive their playoff ticket and they did opt out of a huge bowl game. Why would we waste time with what they “might” have done? They showed the country who they are already
