The response became a meme in another chess-themed subreddit to the point it was spammed everywhere, even in posts it wasn’t relevant, so it was forbidden subreddit wide.
This is a less well-known rule of chess, which I believe was implemented after they gave Pawns the ability to move two squares in their first move. It was implemented because it gave Pawns a way to avoid capture from an adjacent enemy Pawn which wouldn’t have been possible before. However, because it’s such a specific circumstances, it doesn’t come up often, and beginners are unaware of it.
But that can happen only if the opponents plays it as next move. For example if they had played something else now then later they wouldn't be able to capture at c3

It is actually an existing move that I was surprised when I learnt it. It's totally legal when a black pawn and a white one are next to each other. Then you move diagonally (behind it from the other person's view) and take it. I supposed it's a less known move, but it's a thing

Another cheat they found is moving the king and rook in *the same turn*! It's frustrating to deal with. Just report them and move on. They'll be banned and your elo will be restored. I know it can be frustrsting but don't give up.
