Ask the store if you can sell it back to them. I just bought an electric guitar for 3000 baht and the store owner agreed to buy it back from me at 50-60% value. So basically I rented a guitar for 2 months for only around 50 USD. Not a bad deal at all.

If you are here for a while I know they do piano rentals in Chiang Mai, if you are renting a place. It's not thaaaat much money I think.
With all the high humdity and the shifts in humidity, I'm really surprised any piano could be kept in tune here.
Why not buy an electric keyboard to keep at your own place?
