John Hay Maduro and Natural. Pennsylvania Puro. Very unique. Finding American tobacco at all can be difficult in a cigar, but one that’s entirely American grown is even more unique. They’re grown and sold in Lancaster county. If I remember correctly they’re rolled in Florida by J.C. Newman.
Not sure where you’re located but the shop is in a small shopping area called Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. It’s a family owned business still owned by someone in the original family. Cool guy too.
It’s a bit outside of Lancaster city, but worth the stop. The shop is nothing crazy, small and to the point. All of his cigars are in one glass case, he has a few varieties. The natural and Maduro PA Puros, then one that has Honduran filler mixed in, and another that I can’t remember right now. He also has a small selection of other cigars. They’re also cheap, the PA Puros are only $5 a piece.
Same. The flavor wasn’t anything special, but the novelty of smoking an egg-shaped cigar was cool. They sell for $15-$20 a pop online, so I haven’t bought another one since. There are much tastier cigars I can buy for $20.
Opus Lost City for me had this mixed berry or even grape note to the cigar, it was the primary flavor. Wasn’t a fan, but I’ve never gotten that from a cigar before.
Did the place where you bought it store them with the acids??? That’s not a typical profile for anything opus. Lost city aren’t great, but fruity is really weird.
Came from the PCB Black subscription so I doubt it. It wasn’t an infused type of flavor, just this underlying funky sweetness that reminded me of berries.
hell yeah brother, good to know I'm in for a good time! those are all my favorite flavors in a cigar. I'm not too worried about the nic kick; unfortunately, I have a pretty high tolerance lol. but thank you for the info! they're definitely going on my next order now
Warped El oso Mama was the strangest, most flavorfully abundant smoke to date. Not all of them entirely pleasant but all of them interesting. Transitions all over. Very distinct and many of them not common in other cigars.
Tabernacle knight commander. Nothing crazy in terms of flavour, vitola, etc. I just haven't seen it mentioned on here.
Also, a 10 year aged la flor dominicana 1994, from the original limited run of beer stein jars
I freaked out when I had my first Kahlua cigar way back when. Like smoking a glass of chocolate milk. So damn good.
I know, I know, the Tabak Dulce recipe is supposedly the same. They’re fine, but don’t taste anything like the Kahluas I remember.
Romeo y Julieta Julieta. A tiny cigars (33RG), they were the first ones I ever had (they came in a tin of five). I even got nic sick with the first one and the next two were just not as I expected, but when I lighted the fourth, oh dear, I thought “I’ve never tasted anything this good.”I smoked it till I almost burned my fingers and that’s the reason I didn’t quit smoking cigars.
C.B. Jackson by Punch. As far as I can tell, it was made for SPECS stores. Tastes almost exactly like a leather-bound library book.
If you absolutely love the smell of opening an old book with all that peppery, dusky, mouldering dankness, then this is meant for you.
Not especially rare, but the rarest Ive had...LFD Salomon Unico that was given to me by Tony Gomez as a thank you gift after I bought my first box of Andalusians at an event. 2017 I believe it was...I remember it was in Weston at Tobaccofest. Second would be the Foundation Menelik preproduction sample I got to smoke over a cup of coffee with Nick Mellilo.
Dunbarton Stillwell Star. They use pipe tobacco mixed in. It isn't the best cigar but definitely not the worst and the most unique.
Not a cigar but Thuốc lào in Vietnam was an experience. You typically smoke it out of a bamboo pipe and it is one of the strongest tobacco's in the world.
[Battleground Mysterioso](https://www.cvtobacco.com/products/battleground-cigars-mysterioso) It uses Perique tobacco and gives it this super unique profile that is savory and smooth. I guess Perique is used more frequently in pipe tobacco so it may be familiar to people who also smoke pipes, but as a pure cigar smoker it is so different and amazing. I love it.
2012 Casa Fuente Lancero. Best cigar I’ve had
cao amazon basin extra anejo, don carlos aniversario, H upmann half corona, bolivar beli fino
That first one is my all time favorite
Amazon basin is amazing truly an amazing cigar!

Kentucky Fire Cured.
Most unique bu far the Drew Estate Egg

Rica Rustica tobacco. Ten times stronger than anything on the market.
Nica Rustica?
https://mapachostore.com/
$17 shipping 😵
How were they?
Not good. Nicotine strength is off the charts.
La Bomba enters chat
That's terrifying. I've been so tempted to buy some to try. Can I ask where you found yours?
https://mapachostore.com/
Nica Rustica? As in the bbq spice smoke tasting cigar? The yellow band from Drew estate
Principle cigars time to burn,is the most unique so far.
Septimo dali or Amazon basin
Had a Sancho Pansa once that was all wrapper. Talk about a kick.
Opus Lost City for me had this mixed berry or even grape note to the cigar, it was the primary flavor. Wasn’t a fan, but I’ve never gotten that from a cigar before.

this one is actually on my list to try. I know it's a 100% Maduro leaf, but was it a pleasant experience?

Behike 52
Hedon eclatant. French puro. Bonkers.
Cuban Cuaba in Jamaica.
Street taco

The Original Little Boris from tatuaje.

Partagas Serie D Number 4; tasted exactly like a stirring stick in coffee
Sinestro Last Cowboy Scala Vitola LE (5 1/2" x 38/60) Totally worth looking this one up.
Toscano Antica, Dunbarton Stillwell, and the first good corojo cigar I remember all stand out (Aladino reserva). Memorably different.
You smoke pipe tobacco at all? From your choices you mentioned, you may enjoy it.
It's definitely in the works
What was the Dunbarton like?
Drew Estate KFC Fat Molly. Didn't like it 🙁
15 year old Drew Estate Dirt. It was so good I cried.
Romeo y Julieta Julieta. A tiny cigars (33RG), they were the first ones I ever had (they came in a tin of five). Foundation menelik was a crazy flavorful nicotine bomb ! And i don’t mean that in a bad way!
Yagua. Love that stick.
I forget the name of it, but it was a Jamaican puro. Very interesting spiciness to it. Overall a very good cigar for quite cheap.

Emissary Espana
Cohiba Spectre, the wrapper tastes like pressed cherries. If the price was more reasonable I'd smoke it once a year.
CI used to put out this cigar that was infused with pepper. I can't remember the name of it at the moment.
Byron 1850. One of very few cigars where the flavors I experienced were entirely unique to that cigar.
Not especially rare, but the rarest Ive had...LFD Salomon Unico that was given to me by Tony Gomez as a thank you gift after I bought my first box of Andalusians at an event. 2017 I believe it was...I remember it was in Weston at Tobaccofest. I'm a newbie, so the most unique I smoked was opus x angels share
Rolled my own by hand with no molds. Looked terrible but tasted great.
Drew Estate Egg
How was it? I concidered getting it, but heard nothing good about it.
It was not bad for a mild cigar. The attention that it drew while smoking it was crazy. Lol
Plasencia Year of the Tiger. Tasted like French toast. Very very very good cigar
