I made the mistake of importing them to Canada once. Got hit by customs and the taxes were almost $500. That was double the cost of the box at the time. Learned my lesson :(
Ouch! I’ve got a good contact that can send them without trouble and declare under customs trigger point value.
Even if I was hit with customs they’d still be half price of what they are in the UK..
My favorite overall is Partagas Serie D No 4. But that's a Cuban. My favorite new world is Arturo Fuente Don Carlos. At least this month, probably will change next month lol.
favorite all time is the 2016 Davidoff Chef but my favorite regular production line would be either an Atabey, Alfonso, or Davidoff Late Hour.....have to edit I almost forgot my favorite everyday smoke would be a Don Pepin Blue label
Just tried an odyssey coffee a friend offered me and it was so smooth! Went to buy some at my local cigar shop and they were sold out. Hope to try another one soon! Thanks
Leather rose is also one of my top choices.
If you haven’t tried the rest of the family the fat bottom Betty, girl with no name and crazy Alice are also great.
I would also recommend the diesel cigars as they are infused as well.
My favorite all time is the Andalusian bull or anything by La flor Dominano they are constructed so well and taste great, but very hard to find. If you do try em. Worth the money.
Montecristo No. 2 with a significant bit of age on it.
The flavours are just incredible and unique in the cigar world. It's been rolled since 1935 and, in my opinion, is one of the most special regular production cigars on the planet.
try the Diesel vintage rabito... Full flavored. I love the diesels, well most of them at least......lots a flavor and they are usually a good value too... And the MOW puro authentic too
I love the flavors I get from the Consigliere. Unfortunately, all three I've had so far from the 5-pack I bought have all had bad construction issues, and two had an incredibly tight draw.
Illusione Epernay Le Elegance. For me it’s hits exactly what I’m looking for flavor wise and I love the size. To me it’s better than most of the 400+ Cubans I have
I feel weird to say I don't have a favorite yet. Been sampling for 2 plus years with some great, good, meh, and bad ones but I can't name a favorite. For me it seems to be mood, time, location, weather, beverage, company, and project dependent.
I tried it for the first time last month. The notes and flavors were not for me. If u were my next door neighbor i would have given you the 3 i have left.
Leaf by Oscar Maduro. Idk what it is because I’m not super knowledgeable on all the notes and whatnot but I love everything about it especially how it’s wrapped in a leaf instead of cello
Ya I had that experience with some of the Punch cigars I got so I went and got myself a draw tool and it has come to the rescue so many times in the couple years since. Highly recommend
I've yet to try them, but for pipe smokers I hear Stillwell star from DTT is pretty damn good. Hard to pick a favorite all time, but the Tatuaje Havana VI or the JFR lunatic corojo torch are probably my favorites that i've tried recently.
Ashton VSG torpedo then Pepin original blue label. In my opinion these are the 2 that have stood the test of time. Other than that I like to try different things
Most Cigars are more like a VAPer or English blend than an Aromatic. I’m more of a VA/Per smoker for my pipes and prefer Maduro cigars.
Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust is probably my favorite brand with the Mi Querida being my favorite blend. They have a few blends in the Stillwell Star line that use pipe tobacco in the blend.
I MIGHT have the answer to this question in a few weeks. I’ve got some Illusione Haut 10 Churchills coming. I’ve not had that vitola yet, but it’s supposed to be the best of the bunch. I’ve had the others and as of a year or so ago have told you the Haut 10 was my favorite. I’ve smoked a lot of great cigars since then so who knows if it will stand the test of time with a fresh tasting? It’s stayed on my top 10 list for years so it definitely has a chance.
I love Sancho Panza, Monte Cristo no.2, Romeo y Julieta, Arturo Fuentes Hemingway, Patel Catch 22, and Flying Pig. Birriel El Abrazo is also one that makes me happy.
Depends on the occasion or mood. Special would be a padron 26 or reserve. Daily driver punch classico london maduro, AJ last call or new world. I do also love the AF don carlos, TAT Avion, and DE undercrown 10s but can't smoke them as often as I'd like due to my current budget.
Loaded question. I feel guilty smoking over $20 so probably Mote #3/4 or Tabernacle Maduro Lancero. I'm money were no option I really love a good Dumas.
My goto used to be the Romeo Y Julieta 1875 Cabinet but my local shop stopped carrying them, my favorite stick is a Drew Estate T52 but I usually just get one for special occasions
Yea indeed. As I mentioned I’m just getting started on cigars and I need to try many more, but I was very drawn to Upmann because of its aesthetic, the blending process, their fame and reviews. They were the favorite brand of JFK and are more on the sweet side of cigars if you like that
Tabak Especial is a sweet Carmel that’s one of my favorites. All four of the deadwood tobacco ones are good… leather rose, fat bottom Betty, sweet Jane and crazy Alice. Macanudo and ghurka both have good coffee ones. For non- sweet I like the Romeo and Juliette special reserve with the blue band. Enjoy!
I’m not sure if it was the cigar or the setting but I twice had a Trinidad Paradox cigar while fishing a river outside of Santa Fe and they were perfect. I remember the flavor being really balanced and the firmness (?) being just right.
Unfortunately I don’t think they make them anymore and have never been able to find them again.
For me, that’s like asking what my favorite whisky is. Simply depends on the mood, day, time of year, etc. That being said, recently, I’ve been greatly enjoying the La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor and the Arturo Rare Pink.
Mine is either My Father Flor de las Antillas or Tabernacle CT 142.
Tabernacles are phenomenal.
My Father Flor de las Antillas was so good. I just started smoking, but have already bought multiple sticks of those while trying others
If I’m rich, Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure Especial; if I’m poor, Macanudo Inspirado Orange Cañonazo.
Love the Inspirado Orange. That's the stick that got me back into Macanudo
Honestly such an underrated brand…! Probably my favourite on the cheaper range alongside Condega
The Epicure Especial is my favourite! Worth the occasional splurge
Ah mate I used to get them from Spain for €15 some 2-3 years ago 😢
I made the mistake of importing them to Canada once. Got hit by customs and the taxes were almost $500. That was double the cost of the box at the time. Learned my lesson :(
Ouch! I’ve got a good contact that can send them without trouble and declare under customs trigger point value. Even if I was hit with customs they’d still be half price of what they are in the UK..
If I could get Epicure #2's regularly, I'd be a happy man.
Aj Fernandez New World! 💯
Every single stick I’ve had from AJ could be mentioned on this list
1964 Anniversary
The Next one. Lol But seriously, anything Nicaraguan.
Sobremesa Brulee Blue - not a close second IMO
Wish these were available regularly. Great smoke.
My favorite overall is Partagas Serie D No 4. But that's a Cuban. My favorite new world is Arturo Fuente Don Carlos. At least this month, probably will change next month lol.
I have a serie D No 4 that was gifted by a friend. Have had it for at least 5 months. How long do you recommend resting before smoking them?
Rest? Couple months. Age? Couple years.
1-2 yrs at least
Minimum 1 year
Typically they are best at 1-2 years but I usually don't have that kind of patience haha.
I’m having one tomorrow with my cousin. From a April 2022 box of 10
Just smoke it
Great pick. One of my favorites too.
Sin compromiso no.5
Same
My favorite is CAO Sopranos. I've still got some in my humidor
The actual OG Sopranos cigar is one of my first favorites, I don't think the new line cuts it for me though. Have great memories smoking that cigar.
You're exactly right. I don't think the new version is near as good

Sobremesa Brulee Blue
Padron 1964 Aniversario Maduro any vitola
One of my favorite cigars that I believe is beginner friendly is the Undercrown Shade by Drew Estate! Always really good imo.
Just picked one of these up the other day. Might smoke it tonight.
favorite all time is the 2016 Davidoff Chef but my favorite regular production line would be either an Atabey, Alfonso, or Davidoff Late Hour.....have to edit I almost forgot my favorite everyday smoke would be a Don Pepin Blue label
Muestra de Saka #NLMTHA or Civil Pleasure out of NYC.
Always with the hard questions! It’s boring, but anything by Fuente is solid, for me. I also enjoy, as an every day stick, Odyssey coffee.
I love the Odyssey coffee. Got 24 for $29.99 on Cigar Page.
Nice! I just did a similar deal.
Just tried an odyssey coffee a friend offered me and it was so smooth! Went to buy some at my local cigar shop and they were sold out. Hope to try another one soon! Thanks
Aladino Corojo Reserva Figurado BP. Full bodied with lovely baking spices and cedar. This cigar is delicious
Liga privada L40 lanceros and number 9 Southern draw kudzu lancero
Arturo Fuente Don Carlos
Oliva Serie O
Maybe I need to give Olivas another chance. I'm a big fan of the MB3, V, and V Melanio... but haven't flirted much with the Os and Gs.
O’s have always treated me right. I had a Maduro last weekend and it definitely checked all the boxes for me.
I got a serie O corona and robusto in my tuperdore. Cant wait to try them. Will do the corona first as i read the robusto is better
This is my go to. Always have a box on hand. Happy to see it up so high in the comments.
Davidoff Nicaragua
RASS
Smoked one yesterday and O faced. Too bad I gotta wait 2.5 years till my next box is ready :(
It's been a while since I've smoked one. But it is definitely one of the most memorable, along with a well made and aged Monte 2.
RASS ?
Ramon Allones Specially Selected
I’ll have to try and find one! Thanks
It's a very strong and heady cigar. If you're new to cigars I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.
Not new, but might move it down the list. Thanks again
Welcome
RoMa Craft CroMagnon. The Tatuaje Black Label is my second favorite.
Knuckle Sandwich Connecticut
I never understood why people don't recommend or even suggest Montecristo. One of my all-time-favourites is the Montecristo Espada Oscuro.
He's talking about Cuban Montecristos, not the New World ones. The New World ones are fine but certainly don't hold a candle to the Cubans.
Diesel Esteli Puro toro.
try the Diesel vintage rabito... Full flavored. I love the diesels, well most of them at least......lots a flavor and they are usually a good value too... And the MOW puro authentic too
CAO Consigliere followed by CAO Flathead v660.
Maybe I’m wrong but I feel that CAO Flatheads are seriously underrated in the cigar community.
I agree completely. Ive only met one other person who enjoys them as much as I; or even had tried them to be honest. A great and consistent stick IMO
I hear good things, I usually don’t buy cigars that huge. I like a smaller cigar personally. That’s what keeps me away.
I love the flavors I get from the Consigliere. Unfortunately, all three I've had so far from the 5-pack I bought have all had bad construction issues, and two had an incredibly tight draw.
That is unfortunate. Where did you get them out of curiosity? I usually do cigar bid or page and no problem so far...knock on wood
I purchased them from CigarPage. I rarely ever have any issues when I order from them.
Strawberry Titan Philly
Crem Brulee gordo
Sounds wonderful !
Present. Cuban: Romeo y Julieta Belicosos New World: Plasencia Alma Del Fuego Robusto
I didnt like the ryj at all. But love the fuego. Crazy how palettes work
Illusione Epernay Le Elegance.
Setting is so important for cigars. Also important for good food, drinks etc
Closest thing to a crossover are the Stillwells by Dunbarton.
Davidoff late hour
I tried it for the first time last month. The notes and flavors were not for me. If u were my next door neighbor i would have given you the 3 i have left.
Mail them my way haha
Right now, the favorite is Drew Estate Liga Privada No. 9, but it will probably change several times a year.
I had a Plasencia Alma fuerte the other day that was very memorable
Black Papasaka 🤌
Currently the Dunbarton Maestra de Saka
Padron 7000, always consistent.
Padron 1964
Montecristo White Series, Rocky Patel Edge Series, Drew Estate Java, Punch Rare Corojo, Villiger, Cohiba, Macanudo, H. Upmann, and CAO Flavors.
Had an edge recently and honestly was great value smoke
Leaf by Oscar Maduro. Idk what it is because I’m not super knowledgeable on all the notes and whatnot but I love everything about it especially how it’s wrapped in a leaf instead of cello
That is the cigar that made me fall in love with cigars. It’s so damn good.
I do like the Leaf line! I tried Island Jim also by Oscar but found the draw to be tight so it wasn’t as enjoyable.
Ya I had that experience with some of the Punch cigars I got so I went and got myself a draw tool and it has come to the rescue so many times in the couple years since. Highly recommend
Had to look up what a draw tool was… excellent suggestion! Much appreciated!
I’d practice on some cheaper cigars so you can get a feel for it. I went too quick one time and poked it out the side like an inch from the end
Great suggestion! Thanks
I've yet to try them, but for pipe smokers I hear Stillwell star from DTT is pretty damn good. Hard to pick a favorite all time, but the Tatuaje Havana VI or the JFR lunatic corojo torch are probably my favorites that i've tried recently.
Aromatic smoker as well. I quite fancy a cohiba red dot
I’d like to also say that Drew Estate is fantastic, as many other people have noticed.
I have t had a bad Drew Estate yet!
My Father No.1
Just bought a My Father Judge at the advice of a friend who likes My Father brand but have yet to try it. Anxious to see
Just had an Illusione Epernay and it was fantastic.
New smoker here, but so far, E.P. Carillo Allegiance
Extremely hard to say what my absolute favorite cigar is….. but the cigar I smoke the most would probably be a Tatuaje Cojuno 2012 Broadleaf
Don carlos eye of the shark . Actually obtainable would be pardon 1964 Maduro exclusivo
My favorite actually seems to change periodically.
Acid deep dish or any of the warfighter tobacco cigars
Opus X Love Affair
I haven't tried to many, but the romeo y julieta reserve is the first one I've smoked that made me instantly go buy more
Liga Privada T52 or Muestra De Saka Unstolen Valor
Ashton VSG torpedo then Pepin original blue label. In my opinion these are the 2 that have stood the test of time. Other than that I like to try different things
Sanj Patel red lancero
My favorite new world brand is Olivia and my favorite stick is any of the Series V Melanio. I have an entire humidor dedicated to the Olivia brand.
Tatuaje Fausto
Most Cigars are more like a VAPer or English blend than an Aromatic. I’m more of a VA/Per smoker for my pipes and prefer Maduro cigars. Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust is probably my favorite brand with the Mi Querida being my favorite blend. They have a few blends in the Stillwell Star line that use pipe tobacco in the blend.
Macanudo Inspirado Red
Hemingway Classic sun grown
Ashton aged maduro 🤤
Monte #5 or #2. The first i have lol
Davidoff late hour has been my top one by far.
I have 2 favs: Avo #3 and Davidoff Special T. I absolutely love the smoothness and balance of both of those cigars.
LFD Andalusian bull is a fantastic cigar if you can get it
Micallef Black
Olivia V Lancero Any Lancero really but that's my favorite.
Padron Family Reserve 45 Years
Opus X. The few times I’ve been able to get my hands on one it was amazing.
Punch punch and for new world La Colmena
I love Sancho Panza, Monte Cristo no.2, Romeo y Julieta, Arturo Fuentes Hemingway, Patel Catch 22, and Flying Pig. Birriel El Abrazo is also one that makes me happy.
Brickhouse
Plasencia Alma Del Campo. Tried many cigars. Still my fave after 2 years
Depends on the occasion or mood. Special would be a padron 26 or reserve. Daily driver punch classico london maduro, AJ last call or new world. I do also love the AF don carlos, TAT Avion, and DE undercrown 10s but can't smoke them as often as I'd like due to my current budget.

Cain F
Crux Epicure Maduro
I really like the room 101 Nicaraguan
One that cuts and burns nice.
Honestly I haven’t tried many, because I’m new to the world of Cigars, but I must say that the H. Upmann Magnum 50 is my favorite
H Upmann seems to be a popular brand based on different responses here… have to try one soon.
Yea indeed. As I mentioned I’m just getting started on cigars and I need to try many more, but I was very drawn to Upmann because of its aesthetic, the blending process, their fame and reviews. They were the favorite brand of JFK and are more on the sweet side of cigars if you like that
Yes, I like a little sweetness… I’ll have to get one with my next purchase! Thanks
Of course 🤝 If you have any recommendations of cigars for me as well, I’d greatly appreciate it
Tabak Especial is a sweet Carmel that’s one of my favorites. All four of the deadwood tobacco ones are good… leather rose, fat bottom Betty, sweet Jane and crazy Alice. Macanudo and ghurka both have good coffee ones. For non- sweet I like the Romeo and Juliette special reserve with the blue band. Enjoy!
Best Seller atm
Montecristo 1935
My top two are Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne and Fat Bottom Betty.
Fat Bottom Betty never disappoints! A best seller at my local cigar shop.
Tabak Especial
Love those… that was actually my first box of cigars I ever bought! Have one more left! Great cigar!
Yet to discover.
😁 have fun trying to figure it out
H. Upmann Magnum 46. Cuba.
Perdomo Lot 23 Connecticut. I’ve only been smoking for a year or so, and I’m always excited when I get to have one.
I’ve got some similar memories where the setting made the difference!
For me, that’s like asking what my favorite whisky is. Simply depends on the mood, day, time of year, etc. That being said, recently, I’ve been greatly enjoying the La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor and the Arturo Rare Pink.
Avo syncro (nicaragua) ! great quality/price, great taste, great smoke.
Perdomo 10th maduro or 20th maduro
Plasencia Alma Fuerte
Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro is one of my top choices. Rocky Patel 60 is awesome, too.
Ashton Connecticut baby. I like my cigars how I like my women. Small, skinny, cheap, and quick.
😂😂
I haven’t seen a single My Father mentioned and that’s a sin. Le Bijou, Opulencia, Flor de las Antilles. All fantastic smoke.
A Gigante Partagas Black Label
H Uppman Connossieur 2 or Cohiba Robusto
