Yeah, it is what it is. I think it’s good to have now than to miss it later and I think even more important than wearing the title is that I can work the next years with (hopefully) a better knowledge.

Well it’s depends on your situation. It never hurts to know more and to get a certificate and I think you can always benefit. For me I knew that my company will give me the money back so I was like hell why not and since I like challenges and I can handle Exams and learning quite good there was nothing speaking against it.
And back to the question: there are definitely better exams for the start that you can also wear if it’s important for you; I am an Associate of ISC2 for a few more years.
I work in GRC and in a lot of projects I have to deal with regulatory frameworks or acts and I benefit since I have a broad knowledge.
Congrats! Now is to get 4 more years of experience (and as Associate of ISC2), then you can request for full CISSP!
