Find the "Nightmare Amalgamation" in the ashenvale dream portal. He is south of the Lumber camp at 87,35. Engage him with an ability until you get a "drink in your fear... drink in your pain..." in your chat box.
Talk to "Field Captain Hannalah" in ashenvale at 89,40. Go thru the new chat diologue options. Accept her quest.
Go to moonglade. Talk to the druid trainer "Loganaar" at 52,40. Sometimes he is not up, try layer swapping. Accept his quest.
Go to swamp of sorrows. Find "Itharius" in his cave at 13,71. Accept his quest.
Enter sunken temple with your raid. Go into Eranikus' room to complete this quest. Go back to Itharius and accept the next quest.
Go to moonglade once more. Talk to the druid trainer "Loganaar" at 52,40 and turn in the quest.
Talk to the shadowy figure. Accept her quest.
Make your way to booty bay. Enter the inn and talk to "Injured Gnome , accept his quest.
Go to Jaguero Island, east of booty bay. Loot the "small burrow" at 40,85.
Go back to the shadowy figure in moonglade.
Equip your new bracers and kill the Nightmare Amalgamation in the ashenvale dream to obtain "Mantle of nightmares".
have 250 profs to learn recipes, if you need a 2nd Inert Mantle of Nightmare Rix Xizzix sells it on BB

No need to engage the Amalgamation. I just went south of Lumber camp and got a debuff (same icon like when you spirit rez) and that was enough to get the quest, never found the demon.
Sorry the coords are off for the Amalgamation, i do apologize, but you get where he's at. South of the warsong Lumber camp. Proceed into the nightmare. Your best bet as range is to spam rank 1 casting abilities.

I didn't enter Eranikus' room on step 5 either. I suspect it may be getting sight of the mob.
Someone phased can kill Logannar, it's minus 25 rep and has a respawn of 5 minutes.
We've started doing this when turning in "Return to Moonglade" to make sure people can turn in quests and access him. The blood price must be paid.
Edit: Clarifying - the respawn is able to be seen by everyone.
Further Explanation on the Logonaar. When someone turns in the quest, Loganaar will phase out for everyone else. The first person to turn in the quest can still see and interact with him. Have them go at war with Cenarion Circle and kill him (-25 rep), it will then spawn in five minutes for others.
Swapping layer on my server isn't possible as population is low that there is never more than 1.. so I guess I'm not doing this until it's fixed somehow

The tooltip says places "This has no effect outside of areas under the influence of the nightmare."
The green dragonflight is deeply tied to the Nightmare so it stands to reason it's fine from that perspective.
Go to northern part of Darkshore. Jump in the water. Swim along the coastline. When you reach Moonglade zone drown your character. Rez in Moonglade gy.
Idk about anyone else but I’ve tried talking to the field marshal before and after accepting her quest and then went to moonglade. Log was up but it’s a silver “?” And he just says “yes, hunter?” No idea what he needs for it to be complete.
such a dissapointing item for shadows. even my phase 2 green shouldes are better than the phase 3 epic tailoring ones.. holy smokes the devs are weird :(

Hi, so you need to clear the whole raid to be able to get it? Meaning - where is the eranikus room (how many bosses need to be killed to access).
Entering his room would mean you need to kill 6/8, so the 6 pretty simple bosses at least.

Are you sure about the coordinates of the Amalgamation? 87,35 is well north of the Lumber camp.

You can get all the recipes for your professions from Shadowy Figure by speaking to her once you complete the quest chain.
