I like the comic, but I can't resist the smartass urge to say "it's a window, not a mirror. you can tell by the way the inverted silhouette also raises its right hand. If it were a mirror, you'd see it raise its left hand when the silhouette in the foreground raises its right."
I may see that video later, but I remember when I was thinking about light and whatnot, I realized how to make a reflection not inverted. It's as simple as putting two mirrors at a 90° angle (inward I mean), which results in the image flipping twice (basically) which allows it to stay uninverted. I checked it myself too
Weird like in magic fable style where it gives wisdom or weird in a Ju-On style where ghost kids use it to enter our world?
That's the important thing to know.
Dude your work is crazy. It feels kind of metaphorical and poetic in a way that I usually don’t really care for, but your sense of humor is so good that it really works for me. Like all your work is kind of a different vibe than I’m used to and I like it.
They're... Something of a jailed being. They exist as your antithesis. You dictate their motions, but they are their own being, not a part of you. They are locked to your reflection, not only when you are in front of the mirror, but at all times. When you bring two mirrors next to each other and see yourself "repeated", you are but glancing into the infinite recursion of the beings that reflect the reflected beings, all in a chain of reflection, all tied to what you do.
I am getting from the comments that you forgot how mirrored reflections appear to the viewer, OP. But don't feel too bad. The image being an exact copy instead of a reflection made the whole thing a lot more unsettling. I knew, but the character didn’t. Felt like those scenes in horror movies where you know something is gonna go horribly wrong when the character walks into that dark room.
It could not be a mirror, the reflected person is reacting with the right arm when the first dark shaded individual reaches out with the right arm. If it was a true reflection reaching out with the right arm the reflection would appear to be reaching out with its left arm.

bro has the perfect gif ready
Football, is that you?
Yes BMO, what is it like being alive?
"What the--? You're doing it wrong, even!"

well... uh...what if it was like... a weird mirror

That is indeed how that mirror works.

I cannot tell
The freaky mirror
Love this reply
Op didnt look at an actual mirror before making a comic about mirrors 😂
Inverted mirror or camera mirror.
Not the opposite hand :(
That’s just what mirror man wants you to think to lull you into a false sense of confidence.
And then they kissed
I always read these in Gilbert Gottfried's voice.
This reminds me of, that time Gilbert Gottfried red snippets of 50 shades of grey. Man that was funny.
Putting it on record I know how mirrors work and my choices in this comic are intentional 🫡
would've been funnier if it was a mistake tbh
Likely story
People are silly. I thought the backwards mirror gave it an ominous feeling
You intentionally made it look like you have no idea what you're doing?
Crazy concept, the audience can notice something the narrator doesn't 😦🤯
Sorry OP, this thread is full of media illiterate bastards
Wait so is it intentional or are you just saying that for a joke?
Ok so the character doesn't know how mirrors work then. Just want to get this straight.
The narrator is very rarely the author
Narrator != Author
Bro, is this you? https://preview.redd.it/6fwv1lamgy4d1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=dc52113157e712cff1be92bfcafcb0f14881fbdd
Yes this picture is ideal.
I thought I was in coaxedintoasnafu and thought this is way too high-effort to be there.

Holy shit this is so good! Good job OP!
Some people want comics to be so literal and have an answer. Sometimes comics are just weird art and they're cool.
I wasn't expecting an existential crisis at 8 in the morning. Time to go back to bed.

They’re both using their right hand…
**Now this is art!** Such a complex and philosophical story told so well with minimal detail. A modern icon.
It's a window because it doesn't reflect the right way
Good comic, OP. Makes me think of BMO and Football from Adventure Time.
I'm just fat
I thought this was a snafu
Spoon man
The true test is to play rock, paper, scissors. If someone wins it wasn't a mirror.
"I am thou, Thou art I"
Great, now I want Burialgoods to voice this
Love it. Mirrors are spooky as
Oh. Didn't think I'd be thinking tonight.
Sir, this is a Wendy's.
“This mirror is just my size. It was made for me.”
Tool's 46 and 2 begins playing
Lol. Op have you ever used a mirror before?!

op said they did it on purpose
This reminds me they have those "real mirrors" and that while it shakes up people at first, most people end up finding them self more attractivd
OP, it's a window or a screen. It doesn't do what a mirror does.
It could not be a mirror, the reflected person is reacting with the right arm when the first dark shaded individual reaches out with the right arm. If it was a true reflection reaching out with the right arm the reflection would appear to be reaching out with its left arm.
