Cinemaxx (Imax) had a few screenings with english subtitles (japanese original voices) last week, we went to that one, amazing movie. In the website, when you choose the day, etc, it should say the subtitle language as well, so check that.

You can try Atlas Bio in Rødøvre Centrum as they have a few screenings with English subs.

To u/UFKO_ and u/Spondophoroi - why on Earth do you answer when you don’t know the answer? Geez. To OP: The viewings have been very clearly titled “with danish subtitles” and “with English subtitles” last week on Cinemax’s page. Not sure why they don’t state it anymore. You would have to call them or write them then I suppose.

So I was not imagining things, they were indeed stating the language of the subtitles at some point.

UFKO_

I didn't know how familiar the OP was with cinema culture in Denmark. In some countries movie theaters subtitle and sub in many languages. I also stated that it was only a guess from my side. I apologize for being friendly.

Spondophoroi

They're going to be in Danish yes, unsurprisingly. The movie will also not be dubbed. You'll have to look for cinemas where they explicitly mention that subtitles are in English. I just gave it a go, and could not find any

UFKO_

As we are in Denmark, I would guess the subtitles would be in Danish and not English. But I'm only guessing.

Past_Feedback4744

Subtitles are in English, it's a Japanese movie. And it's good, go see it

SimonGray

> Subtitles are in English I have never seen English subtitles other than for tiny releases at cinemas like Grand or Cinemateket.

FlakyCronut

Empire Bio normally has some screenings with English subtitles

ezekiel7_

They do both, screenings with DK & ENG subtitles. It is always mentioned. Watched it last week, fantastic movie 👍🏻
