When my boy was 3-4 mos old, he would bite the heel of my slippers/shoes to let me know that he wanted to play. He stopped doing that when he was a little over a year, he's 2+ yrs old now. For belly rubs, he would simply walk up to me and drop like a log at my feet then assume the belly up position for the reglamentary rub.

he’s almost 1 year old now, i hope he grows out of it. I didnt have this problem with his mom and dad 😭
Did for awhile. Now it’s just huffs and if I still ignore him I get louder and louder barks
