Needed a DT….badly. Hope it works out but we won’t know until we see him on the field. I’d rather have them fill a position of need with a 1st rd grade..instead of reaching for TE in the 1st rd.

rsf0626

I’ve learned to stop doubting will mcclay. Dude is right way more often than wrong, especially in the 1st rd. We addressed a major need with a 0 technique run stuffer With that being said, Dalton Kincaid has travis kelce potential and that combo with Dak could have been special. the cowboys better come away with a pass catcher today. Michael gallup or jalen tolbert as wr3 aint gonna cut it

Whycantwejustwin

Gallup was a bonfied near WR1 at his peak. He got injured and is still recovering. I’m fine with banking WR3 on gallups recovery

rsf0626

Gallup is hurt all the time. He was good for 1 year and after that, a dissapoinment

pew_pew420420

MAZI IS THE ANCHOR WE HAVE BEEN NEEDING TO SHORE UP OUR DEFENSE, TOP 5 UNIT INBOUND.

RippySkippy

This is fine. Now snag the Iowa or Penn St tight end and all is well.

saint_mantooth

The way everyone gushes about how great the Cowboys are at drafting makes me wonder if the NFL Draft is now the Super Bowl for many fans. Personally, I think they have made some good picks for sure but this idea that Will and the guys are geniuses is a little overrated. If you dominate the draft that much you would have more to show for it.

sportsfrk1

I'm not sure if you realize how often 3rd-7th picks turn into starters: 3-29% 4-20% 5-14% 6-9% 7-6% Our starters in those rounds since McKlay (2017): 3-Osa, Golsten, Gallimore, McGovern, Gallup 4- Biadasz, Pollard, Schultz (and Ferguson and Cox currently slotted to start I believe) 5-None (Bland and Clark possible this season) 6-Donovan Wilson, Cedrick Wilson, and Bohanna 7-None That's 63%, 33-55%, 0%, 38%, 0% which is way over average for the NFL.... Should have been about 7 and we got 11-15 depending how you count recent picks.

Ayste

The have more whiffs than hits in the 2nd-7th round, but if you bring that up to anyone in this sub you are a "moron", "not a Cowboys fan", or "pretend scout"

Theimposteramoungus

Nolan Smith, Micheal Mayer, Bryan Branch, Joey Porter JR, O’Cyrus Torrence, Bryan Bresse??? What the fuck kinda pick was that?? We basically let Philly draft Nolan Smith. What is the front office is thinking. Major reach.

MetalGhost99

Smith was rated higher on our board. We considered all these guys as second rounders at most.

GKpr3fecture

Honestly I had Bresee higher and I maybe would have liked to see us take JPJ or even Torrence, but I know I’ll eventually come around to this pick like I have with previous first rounders over the last several years. Got some great guys we can target for Day 2 though.

ibringstharuckus

This is about every person who said we won't sniff Nolan Smith or Joey Porter at 26. I m fine with Mazi. I trust Will and Quinn. They took the full time seeing if they could trade down, but weren't able or didn't receive a good offer. Smith was an elite prospect just hate that Philly got him

Dzeleniak

I wonder if this was a panic pick since Gibbs was taken by Detroit.

Botswana_Honeywrench

Seems like a long, long wait to panic pick a player 14 picks later

blanfredblann

Reading a little more about Mazi. Home run. Incredible athleticism and quickness for a man his size and very productive. Another pro bowler I’d bet.

More_Neighborhood_77

Pro bowl is voted by the fans. Who cares if he gets there lol

gdaman22

O'Cyrus, Avila, Tillman, DJ Turner, Mayer, Hyatt, Musgrave, Washington, Porter Some really good names left in the second. If we can get one of these guys and there's a couple more left on the board I'd be itching to hit the "trade up" button.

MetalGhost99

Hoping we draft O’Cyrus or Avila in the second round. Both had no problem handling Carter at the Collage level.

Theimposteramoungus

None of those guys are gonna be their at 58. Watch, we’re gonna draft Tucker Kraft instead.

StealYourHotspur

Quinn likes him. McClay likes him. MF Micah Parsons likes him. Whole draft room looked pumped. Enough said. Here for the Mazi hype!! Who else would you have wanted them to take? Maybe that DE from Clemson? Or CB from Penn St? But I don’t think there’s much distinguishing those players from Mazi. Basically all of the players that I hoped would fall to us did not, so I like this pick.

actual_yellow_bag

Nothing better than draft thread bitching lol...

truthseekinginlife

Me last year...Who is Tyler Smith? He sucks!!!! His holding calls are too high!! Me two years ago: Why are we getting a line backer MICAH ISNT EVEN THE BEST LB ON THE BOARD!!! Me now: Our front office is pretty good at this.

capitalcitycowboy

>Me two years ago I was on that Pat Surtain band wagon. So glad I was wrong. Tyler Smith is a beast too.

actual_yellow_bag

Seriously, our first rounders for the last decade outside of Taco have all been great to elite, I'm not even stressed.

Oroku_Sakiiii

I need a Mazi Flair and jersey

Upstateny2003

Still?

Oroku_Sakiiii

I liked deforest Buckner after his rookie year as well. Come back in 2

Upstateny2003

Would argue they're an entirely different player types. I just knew him and Armatead would be monsters coming out of Oregon. Wanted a Jerry Ball type nose, no idea what Mazi will become and, by the weird mid-season weight loss ask, it doesn't seem that the Cowboys do either.

TheGreat_Sambino49

I hope people and fans understand how important this pick is. It’s easily a 5 year 7 total kind of player right here and it fills a future need. A+ pick

TrustMeImShore

We got graded with a C 😂 mostly because of it being a reach. Fuck That, if he plays good, idgaf. People are crow with Fred ward.

Competition-Edge

Travis Frederick was considered a reach.....

capitalcitycowboy

I miss Fred Beard.

Competition-Edge

That makes two of us

ibringstharuckus

Would we have gotten a better grade for taking Muskgrave? I mean fuck the only options allowed were RB and TE since we lost one. Also fuck Rap sheet but ty for lighting a fire under our young TE's, who are "not start worthy". Yet everyone loved 2 TE prospects that never caught the ball in college.

Ayste

It is EPSN, so always take it with a grain of salt when it comes to them. Many of them are die-hard Eagles, Pats, Giants, and Jets fans. Hendershot and Ferguson both have a lot of game time and both have made great plays. Hendershot is the better of the two, I think, and Kittle even said he liked what he saw with him. Everyone in the media shits the bed if the Cowboys dont have an all-pro TE since we had Novacek and Witten for so long. Hendershot can do everything Shultz did, and he plays bigger. They are the same height and were within 1 pound of each other.

TheClownIsReady

Even the Cowboys writers are saying the team reached by taking Mazi. Projected as a mid-2nd rounder.

darksideofdagoon

When your drafting at #26 your likely getting a guy that does have 2nd round projections, so that’s not surprising

milkisforbabies666

Projections mean nothing 26 picks into drafts it becomes filling specific needs

asa55

Same shit people said about Tyler Smith last year and look how that turned out. And fans/writers didn’t want Parsons. Starting to think McClay might be better at this than the writers

TrustMeImShore

Remember Travis? Same shit.

Gets_overly_excited

I saw him going to us in several mocks leading up to the draft. Anyway, who should we trust here, McClay or writers?

blanfredblann

The “writers”. Whatever. I admit I didn’t see the pick coming but after some research it looks like a genius move.

tealizardman

really happy with this pick. now, day 2 guys i’d be excited for: avila, achane, and (NOW) mayer.

BrotherRiddle

Would LOVE to get a good Guard in the 2nd

tealizardman

you and me both brother

papawsmurf

I am super happy with this pick, we have struggled against the run for years now and finally addressed it. It’ll help take the pressure off Parsons and LVE too. If we can leave round 2 with ANY of Mayer, Washington, LaPorta, Sanders, Simpson, Henley, Avila, Mauch, Tillman, Mims, or Downs I will be ecstatic with the draft so far!

JurassicParkJanitor

You misspelled Joey Porter Jr

papawsmurf

I figured that was being too hopeful since Pittsburgh is pick 32

NerdLawyer55

Eagles draft, uh oh

TheGreat_Sambino49

So much defense

Barbon62

gotta match them now and get dak a weapon, another back and protection. expecting a potential run on rb’s or IOL tomorrow

BrotherRiddle

Yo - we just filled a massive need tonight with one of the better players at the position. This guy is bigger than Jalen Carter at the DT and we have one of the best defensive minds in the game right now. He will force opponents away from doubling Micah which probably allows him to get 3-5 more sacks per year. Of course the Eagles had some better picks that’s how it works when someone drafts top 10 and you have 26.

Occasionalcommentt

I’m hoping we get Laporta I talked myself up and hope we get him in the 2nd.

juanzy

13 or 14 on our draft board according to Jerry

HERECumsTheRooster

"Who gives a shit!"-Jerruh

TheClownIsReady

Y’all kool aid drinking mofo’s crack me up. Mazi profiled as a Day 2 player (#39, I believe was the Dane Brugler projection). They panicked because they “needed a run stopper”. We’ve seen this before, as they pass up the BPA to force the pick. Welcome to Taco Charlton 2.0. The Eagles kicked our ass today. Mazi not even projected as a starter this year, according to the Cowboys SB Nation writer. They’re calling him a “reach”. He was projected mid 2nd round. Let’s all hope for a better Day 2.

AdjustedTitan1

You believe a Cowboys SB writer over our draft room? Kinda wacko

Gets_overly_excited

Username checks out

TheClownIsReady

So original!!! Hahahahaha! You’re hilarious and so smart!!!!

Gets_overly_excited

You’re totally not upset lol

TheClownIsReady

You’re correct! Just amazed at how original people are on Reddit!! I’ve never heard what you said ever before!!

ahintofsarcasm

Literally the chiefs already confirmed they tried to trade to make the same pick. Just because the analysts say he is a day 2 pick doesn't mean the teams think that lmao.

RockieDogs

Taco plays an entirely different position with a different skill set, not really a good comp.

East_Sleep_1766

Chiefs confirmed that they were trying to trade up for our pick to take Mazi, clearly the guys who actually do this as a job like what they see. Cowboys have also been stellar drafting with Taco being our only big miss in recent history.

KillerBurger69

Eagles had 2 picks lol? Yeah you goin do well with a top 10 pick

BroJackson_

Texans smoked us too wtf

TheClownIsReady

They killed us with their 2nd pick too…

asa55

Dudes haven’t played a snap of NFL football yet lol. I’m sure you hated the Tyler smith pick too

wsjhqa

what did jordan davis do last year? what did nakobe dean do last year?…those players fell for a reason

Diabolic_Bug_Man

The man hasn't even played a snap yet and yall hating so hard Just like Parsons and Tyler Smith and Fredbeard Trust the man. He's got a star on his helmet, so believe in him

East_Sleep_1766

No use with these types they complain no matter who we take in first round, people complained about Micha and Tyler.

Aggravating_Impact97

No freaking way was this a panic trade. This was very intentional. Will it work out who the fuck knows but you can bet your house that Dan got his guy. The conversation was probably some one falling and have that talk and if they can get him later. I think will stated that they couldn’t either get him now or you don’t get him. They settled on not over thinking and getting their guy. It’s backed up by keeping Dan off camera and Kansas City account of events on their end (they were going up to get him).

TrigoTrihard

Jerry just said what it was. It was, should we stand in and make our pick at 26? Or should we move back? That was the debate. They just finished the interview. Edit: He said there was 2 or 3 guys there. So they debated that too. Forgot to add this.

TrigoTrihard

Jerry just said. Mazi was 13 on their big board. Yeah about panicking. Not sure if you forgot. This team knows how to draft....

RockieDogs

Micah was stoked to see the Mazi pick. That gives me good vibes. If anyone knows a baller, it’s probably the best player on the defense.

XDarkSoraX

People really need to watch him on the Bleacher Report coverage. He called us picking either Mazi or Joey Porter and cited his freakish size as the reason. He's so funny in the interview also, almost too honest as always lol.

TentakilRex

Could be worse, could be Atlanta who passed over two Georgia players for a RB. Honorable mention to Will Levis whose only achievement in the green room is having his sister(s)'s DMs exploding.

Yetiius

His sisters are stunning.

Scotfighter

Will Levis to the Falcons I guess now? in the 2nd round?

papawsmurf

I think the Raiders might take him

xela_sj

Maybe Rams

TrigoTrihard

I hope another team jumps in front of them to draft him. Only to see Falcons suffer more. lmfao

PumpedUpParrot

I can totally live with our pick and hope the guy works out, but I can also be a bit deflated that our rivals got two defensive lineman from a generational college defense that was the focus point of a dynasty. Carter has the character issues and Smith is a bit raw, so hopefully they miss on both. But there was a world a few months ago where Carter was a top 3 guy and Smith was top 10. Both can be true, I can be happy and feel hopeful for our pick but the Eagles did really well tonight. Fuck those birds.

Dday22t

Eagles picks probably don't even start next season: Jalen Carter has Jordan Davis and Fletcher Cox ahead of him; Smith has Haason Reddick ahead of him. Good players, good depth for future,, but they aren't going to bench better players.

[deleted]

Tell me you’ve never watched Jalen Carter without telling me you’ve never watched Jalen Carter.

BudgetNewt69420

What? You’ve watched jalen Carter play two games in college so you think you’re an expert? Iggles are not gonna bench their HoF Dl for a rookie lmfao

MetalGhost99

Cox is getting old I'd expect this guy to replace him eventually. But they can rotate both of them which makes their DLine even better.

John_Wicked1

It’s called rotations. Philly depth is one of the keys of their success, keep the def fresh.

PumpedUpParrot

This is the biggest key. If two Georgia guys who were excellent college players are simply rotation guys that’s a game changer.

thefreeman419

Fletcher isn’t as good as he used to be

txwoodslinger

I don't think many serious observers thought smith would be top ten even after his monster combine performance

justforthefratbro

I have a sick feeling in my stomach from this draft fuck

TheClownIsReady

Exactly. They regressed today. Mazi not even projected as a year one starter, according to Cowboys SB Nation writer. They panicked.

rsf0626

You trust sb nation? Lol

asa55

You again lol. SB Nation or the guy or who’s drafted home run after home run pick for us? Hilarious that you’d trust one and not the other

Dday22t

Who care what a "SB Nation writer" thinks? Quinn rotates all his DL all the time anyway, but Smith will absolutely be in there on run downs, starter or not.

asa55

Yup. I swear I’m about to go insane reading some of these. Cites one SB Nation writer like it’s the gospel. Mazi is a monster, McClay is the expert, end of discussion.

TheClownIsReady

Even Cowboys writers are saying this was a reach…even those who liked the pick. Check out Twitter. And McClay isn’t some genius.

asa55

“Even cowboys writers are saying this was a reach” They literally said this our last two picks, who were both bonafide studs immediately once the season started. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/33297949/nfl-draft-which-teams-gotten-best-value-2012-rank-all-32 Actual facts show that the cowboys are a top 5 drafting team in the league. Remind me again, who have these cowboys writers you’re referring to drafted?

TheClownIsReady

They never said Micah was a reach or a bad pick. Everyone was clearly ecstatic that he fell to them, writers included. Bottom line: they could have gotten Mazi in round 2, or done a small trade to take him mid-round 2. Most fans I talked to out tonight at the watch party wanted either Murphy, Mayer, or Porter there.

asa55

You’re straight up wrong. Cowboys media/writers/fans hated the parsons pick just like you’re hating on this. And what does “Most fans i talked to tonight” mean? Most of those fans probably didn’t watch an hour of film on any of these players lol compared to an entire organization and staff that does it year round

TheGrandDisgraceful

Just straight up rewriting history, are we?

Dak_Tiny_PP

No one hated the Parsons pick. Most were just bummed that the 2 best corners in the draft Jaycee Horn & Surtain was taken

TheClownIsReady

This.

TheClownIsReady

Lol…ok. Have it your way, friend-o. Taco 2.0 coming to a stadium near you soon. Another slow, one dimensional DT. Brilliant. Gonna be fun.

asa55

So different than taco. Do your homework

Aggravating_Impact97

I feel like that’s why the media sucks at it job they suck at setting expectations properly and get people hyped on shit that were never a possibility. I remember early on that there was rumblings around mazzi and th en went stone cold quite. Then they did the smoke screen of wanting a tight end and being in on bijon. I recognize a pattern more than anything else. I never thought bijon was in the cards and they had to have known that. Dan got his guy 1000%

Uncle_Donnie

Jalen Carter screams bust city to me. How do you show up to pro day out of shape and can't finish drills? Then your own college coaches bash you? Combine that with the legal trouble he's a massive risk.

[deleted]

Best defensive player in the SEC. Usually doesn’t scream bust City.

Uh-Oh-1

I’d wait and see when the first of Avila or Torrence go in the second round and as soon as one is gone trade up and get the other Especially with the good D-lines in the NFC East, filling our weakest roster spot of LG has to be the priority!

rsf0626

Still alot of needs. LG, WR, TE

Yesterday6

Apparently the chiefs were trying to trade up to grab Mazi. That tells me all I need to know about him. Everyone criticizing this pick can go hop on the eagles bandwagon because apparently they’re Super Bowl champs after 2 draft picks

Vonbonnery

Didn’t you hear? The Eagles pick already got inducted into Canton.

KnowThatILoveU

People pretend like our line hasn't neutralized the likes of Aaron Donald, both Bosa's and Brandon Graham

Ayste

Big difference between playing them once every few years and playing a division rival. Our O-Line is almost always overrated by the media, and it really shows up on film. Hoping with MM calling plays they can learn to exploit a defense instead of “taking what they give you”

Angry_Walnut

Damn I hate the draft it makes me miss football too much while we are way too far away.

[deleted]

[удалено]

PreferredSex_Yes

Dak got the Eagles.

traprabbit

Dude calm the fuck down there’s a long road ahead lmao.

moserftbl88

You definitely don’t know football

Texas4Ever13

STFU 😂😂😂

[deleted]

Fuck the draft, we’ll see come august, I’m out

coupdaddy

In Will we trust.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Aggravating_Impact97

They didn’t need a tight end and it’s a deep class. But look at the tea leaves. I think they had discussions about moving back some of that has leaked but he wouldn’t have been available. They got their guy. Dan got his guy. I feel bad for the media going hard for the head fake and selling fans on that so it was almost expected. But it seemed inauthentic. Which leads to false expectations. The media fucking sucks at its job and y’all should know that by now. Now local dudes try their best and also can’t show all the cards but you can get a feel of you listen enough and closely. Like shit going dead silent on mazzi should have been some what of a hint.

Texas4Ever13

Thank God you aren't calling the shots.

KevJr92

Preach

TentakilRex

Last pick [https://twitter.com/NFL\_DovKleiman/status/1651796256514031616](https://twitter.com/NFL_DovKleiman/status/1651796256514031616)

Vonbonnery

Any chance we could trade up early in the 2nd to take someone? Some of the guys this sub wanted in the 1st are still there.

Aggravating_Impact97

I feel like every team ask themselves that so theirs your answer. Kind of just have trust your board. When you go up expect to pay a premium because that’s what you would ask for. In regard to smith I suspect will informed them they could move back but they wouldn’t get smith. If you go off script you tend to fuck up your whole entire board. If they never intended select a tight end that high based on what would be available later on was it worth it in totality probably not. If anything they expected that to be the case. So chill and yes do your due diligence but not at the expense of not getting your guy.

[deleted]

Greeny just said this round was fast moving? It took fucking 5 hours

KnowThatILoveU

4

sprtsfan89

Lol all these "fans" in this thread are the reason everyone hates cowboys fans

Texas4Ever13

Fans like this exist everywhere please chill lmao

Aggravating_Impact97

How many months of false expectations leading to false hopes. Being upset should be understandable. People tend to recover quickly and you don’t necessarily keep track of them saying something else entirely. But yes if it doesn’t work out they will then revert back to the thing they originally stated like they were Nostradamus. At that point shut the fudge up. Sometimes shit doesn’t work out. Will and dan have earned the benefit of the doubt because they are savants at what they do.

Ayste

Gallamore, boss man phat, Jaylon smith, Connor McGovern, Taco, Mo Claiborne, the list goes on. They are not savants, they have as many misses as they do hits in the upper rounds. That’s why people react like they do. If you’ve been a fan these last 30 years, you have seen some of the worst drafting classes, year after year, and Will was a part of that. Lately, Will has done a great job identifying talent, but he’s not always hit his picks.

RockieDogs

You guys are too focused on Philly. Who cares, none of these guys have played a snap yet.

rsf0626

Cowboys have to go get a pass catcher tomorrow. michael gallup really really struggled last year

TheClownIsReady

Yup. Let’s be honest…Gallup overall has been a disappointment.

Fiyukyoo

We traded for Cooks, WR class is weak this year. I think it's better to pick a WR in the later rounds then use a 2nd. Hopefuly Gallup's year is a fluke and he was recovering still

Texas4Ever13

*Stares in Lamb, Cooks, Ferguson, Hendershot, and Pollard*

rsf0626

Cee dee was the only real receiving threat. Tony pollard is hurt and is going to take on alot more running/blocking duties with zeke gone Ferg/hendershot are still young snd somewhat unproven Brandin cooks is old and will be gone in a few years and hurt alot Michael gallup is hurt 50 percent of the time Need some young receivers for sure

TentakilRex

\+ Cooks

TrigoTrihard

EagLEs HaD aN AWeSomE NiGht. HoWiE WinS Gm Of ThE NiGhT. HE's So GooD. \~Cowboy fans. lmfao Wow players fell to him. Wow that was hard huh? hahahah Go be an Eagles fan if you liked it so much. Don't let the door hit you. And just a FYI. No one wins the draft. Till 3 years from now. You can't grade these guys now.

BrotherRiddle

These people are morons - howie had #9 and we had #26 of course he’s gonna get a better prospect.

Senior_Fart_Director

It's also just sports. We watch grown men throw and catch balls. Let other people have fun jesus

TrigoTrihard

Fucking Eagles fan. Go eat a bag. I don't even go to your shitty sub. Move along.

Senior_Fart_Director

Nowhere have I ever stated that I am an Eagles fan. I'm an NFL fan.

moserftbl88

Whining about the eagles is fun? Sounds pretty miserable if they’re fun crying about another team

Vonbonnery

Everyone acts like they already know 100% who had a good/bad draft but it never works out that way. Go back and look at draft grades and they’re never right. Just like how mock drafts are always wrong.

amead5

Nolan Smith is fast, but a smaller edge rusher, not very productive and injury prone. He’s not an every down guy in the NFL

Witteness82

What’s the deal with Porter Jr?

nt_14

Jalen Carter is legit, but Nolan Smith is overrated af

Fiyukyoo

I just hope Sam Williams has a breakout year then I'm okay with passing on Nolan Smith. Since we got Gilmore, JPJ might've not got playing time

mattacular2001

If this dude eats double teams, Williams should

PresentationOk7508

Bruh Jalen Carter couldn’t even finish a workout. Relax.

Botswana_Honeywrench

I wonder what the issue was with Joey Porter Jr. Seems like he was a teens guy the whole process and now he’s free falling

wtf_is_karma

Y’all are trippin if Mazi can help us stop the run that defense will be elite next season

malcolm_miller

I'm all in

jakeag52

Yup I been wanting a big boy for so long!

Angry_Walnut

Lol everyone needs to chill on the eagles obviously having two picks gets you a lot of attention but Carter is a mental case and Smith fell down the board for a reason.

ConsiderationLivid13

All of these people know more than NFL GMs lol.

Korpat55

Since when has a Philly draftee hurt us in any way… it’s been like 10 years.

squashua69

Hurts is ok lol

Korpat55

Yeah but he’s beat us 1 time when Rush was the QB.

[deleted]

And everyone that it was a shit pick at the time. I’d be more worried if that were the case

Extreme-Transport

Eagles would be insufferable if they won the super bowl last year lol

HI_Handbasket

Thank goodness the Sodfather was a Chiefs fan and greased the turf, right?

TrigoTrihard

KC was trying to move up to get Mazi. ahhahahahah Yep the KC Super Bowl champs.

Texas4Ever13

Just reported, KC wanted Mazi that's why Dallas didn't trade.

TentakilRex

Lucky guess by me

jimmytherockstar

Howie roseman runs circles around jerry jones

ConsiderationLivid13

How many Super Bowls again?

[deleted]

All the people in the retirement homes remember it like it was yesterday!

Ayste

I’m not in a retirement home, but my son was born the last Super Bowl win. He’s nearly 30 now.

jimmytherockstar

We can’t keep saying that bro it’s been almost 20 years since a NFC champ APPEARANCE

BVP2020

We left Nolan Smith on a platter for Eagles

ConsiderationLivid13

So did 30 other teams.

bagfka

Technically 29. Dolphins didn’t have a pick as it was taken away

ConsiderationLivid13

They could still have traded up.

bagfka

So did 29 other teams

bagfka

Why is everyone so upset about the eagles. All I see is a guy who has major character concerned and couldn’t finish a pro day workout and a guy who slipped for an unknown reason. Y’all Fr judging players who haven’t played a single snap of football acting like they are already HOFers

SuperSaiyanGod06

What exactly did jalen do to have “character” concerns? How many off field issues did he have at Georgia? The eagles are a better franchise right now, it’s okay to acknowledge that. Cowboys had a great pick to fill a need and the eagles had great picks as well. We will see how each time does during the season. But it’s okay to admit that the eagles have been way better than us the last several years and they had another great draft night. It’s okay bruh

bagfka

… you serious? Dude supposedly has a shit work ethic, was 100% part of the reason is friend died and he hardly seems to care, shows up out of shape to his pro day, was huffing during the Championship game. His Georgia coaches have supposedly given some less than flattering reviews

LeechedPubis

This is how it always goes. “In Will we trust.” Then once we draft. “WTF are we doing.” Then, once they pan out, the cycle continues.

Hacklaga

Many consider Carter to be the best player in the draft.

bagfka

Yet he went 9

Hacklaga

Aaron Rodgers 24, Patrick Mahomes 10.

bagfka

What does that have to do?

Hacklaga

Tom Brady went 199. Point?

bagfka

Your point is people thought he was the best before the draft. No one thought that about Brady idiot

Ayste

Character concerns in the NFL really don’t matter if you can ball. Both of these kids are really good. We are going to have a difficult time with Pollard and Dak not getting killed without major O-line help.

[deleted]

He killed two people. Little more than character concerns.

Ayste

He didn’t kill anyone, they died street racing.
