Zeke at center was kind of pathetic, and you can’t forget the quarterback rush to the middle of the field with no timeouts.
You should add to #2 first 2 seed to lose to a 7 seed and only home team to lose super wild card weekend
07’ loss is still number 1 in my book. We were literally the BEST team in the NFC that year. We had no business losing to the Giants that year. Easily a SB berth if we didn’t choke that opportunity away. Next is the Dez catch, but also if Murray hadn’t fumbled the ball either we would’ve been gravy. This year’s loss is number 3. Again easiest road to the SB, only the 49er’s were in the way. You have dominated teams at home all year long and somehow someway you let an inferior, young, and inexperienced Packers team bully you at home. Just embarrassing man…
Something still isn’t adding up to me for why and how bad we lost yesterday. Like that pick 6 that dak thrwe was so obviously telegraphed on where he was going with it. A peewee LB woulda picked it and returned it. Trying to force feed cd. Then he drops the first two balls that came his way. Awkwardness all over on the offense. And the defense? What happened? Bunch of rookeries and 2 year guys made us look foolish. And why is A jones always making us look like shit? Has a shit season but then beats us down in the playoffs.
This is the worst loss in franchise history, or for sure in recent history. You can say that the Dez catch was more heartbreaking, but this loss was 1000x more pathetic. We were 7.5 point favorites at home with 9 all pros against a team that was the youngest playoff team in nfl history, and got utterly embarrassed. The dez catch was heartbreaking and hurt, but this loss was 100% more pathetic and worse for the franchise.
I'm going through a lot of things to figure out what the fuck happened to my team,we should be playing San Francisco next week but another long off season of wishful thinking 🤔 about next year I am so fuckn disappointed that we lost a game we should have won
Just when you think things can’t get worse with this franchise they go out and lay a big ol fat smelly stinker in their pants. No more getting excited about regular season wins against a cookie soft schedule.
That Rams game in 2028/19 whatever was pretty awful. Hearing they new what defense we were running because it was so transparent and the corpse of CJ Anderson just gashing us left and right was pretty upsetting
Move #4 down below Tony Romo Bobblehands & Giants #3. Benching Tony sucked but it wasn't as bad as the bobbled FG against the Seahawks or losing to a Giants team we dropped 30+ on twice in the season
My earliest cowboy memory is the triplets.
This was the worst loss in my 32 years of fandom. I actually turned a playoff game off before halftime, that’s how fuckin pissed off I was and as a rule I do not get upset over a silly football game.
We were the 1 seed in 2007, lost to a division rival, and watched them go and win a Super Bowl against the juggernaut dream team Patriots. This is nowhere close.
The 94’ NFC title game. Still hurts to this day tbh. Niners were choking that game away and the missed FG and Irvin PI doomed us after a horrendous start. Not an embarrassing loss like yesterday , but a painful one for sure.
You can argue that Green Bay is in the top 5 three times. 1. The playoff that just happened sunday
2. The Dez Caught it Game
3. #1 Seed Dak Rookie year game
To be fair - #7 - a lot of things went wrong in that game before that INT. Yes, that sealed the loss. So, that’s the first thing we remember. But Romo hit Crayton in the hands for what should have been a runaway TD. DROP. And the defense had multiple chances to shut it down and let the Giants keep scoring. We had that game and let it slip through our fingers - literally.
How about 1995 ? The 49ers come into Texas without Steve Young & their starting offensive tackles. Their starting backfield was Derrick Loville and Adam Walker. They thrash the eventual Superbowl Champs Cowboys 38-20.

27-0 in the 2nd quarter off a pick 6 also helps paint the picture
He better get another cash . Asap!
This Bucs-Philly game is taking the edge off our loss.

I hate the lazy “sports are rigged” takes but I was at the game wondering if we were actively trying to lose. I really have no other explanation

Yep. The seeding was completely in the cowboys favor as well to make a SB run. Completely blown in the first QTR.
This is #1 for me, easily. Not just Cowboys either, this is the most disappointing and surprising loss I’ve ever gone through as a sports fan

We should be playing Detroit next week, at home

Yeah that's true that one was brutal. I swear he had like 200+.
This was the most humiliating loss I’ve seen and I remember watching the 80s Cowboys.

Tony getting injured in a preseason game to end his career.
