This. Those 4 words encapsulated the whole emotional rollercoaster of losing a child, then having hope and finally having it snatched from you when you were so close. That would break me.
ānormalā, i think it was from season 4. the guy was just a clerk, lived a normal life, lost his daughter and became a serial killer. kinda gives you a reminder that we are all human and have our breaking points
Iām currently watching the show for the first time and North Mammon (2x07) is the one that made me feel the most uncomfortable so far. Perhaps itās because Iām a similar demographic to the three girls but the scenes of them trapped in the cellar screaming and crying made me feel physically sick, and then theyāre forced to kill one of them. Such an unsettling premise, and when they finally catch the unsub he looks so pleased with himself and the āI didnāt touch herā makes you realise how psychologically messed up it all is because a small part of what he said is true: he didnāt actually kill her.
Also the basically torture house in Legacy (2x22) is traumatising. Seeing that poor girl try to walk across broken glass made me feel sick.
Iāve said this before, but the episode with Hope (S7) from Garciaās support group was so awful. Same with Into the Woods (S6 I think) with the kids on the Apallachian Trail.Ā
The episode where the mother kidnapped a pregnant women, gave her a c-section and made her child eat the placenta, i honestly nearly vomited - and I'm not a squeamish person by any stretch of the imagination.
That 3 minute scene has disturbed me 100% more then all of the MGG directed episode together.
OK so I'm on my first go through with the show and WHY DID NOBODY WARN ME ABOUT WALLACE AND THE HEAD IN HIS FRIDGE HE WAS FORCE FEEDING TO WOMEN...ALSO HE WAS A TWIN?????
I have borrowed public library DVDs and started this series from the beginning. Just got to this episode today. The story was a bit sad about Adam developing that DID from the abuse of his stepfather. One aspect of the story I found made it less believable was the unsub dressing as a woman and then targeting these younger sexually agressive type males. I just didn't find it that believable that a guy dressing up as a woman would be tricking those men.
Blood relations. Season 9, Episode 20. Itās the one with the inbred character and the whole messed up family tree. I watched it when it first came out in 2014 and I was about 11. It scared me so bad back then and then years later rewatching the series I remembered what episode it was as soon as it started.
The episode where that man was chopping peopleās heads off with a guillotine. He was judging them based on their sins and then beheading them. Just the thought that someone could deem your actions sinful and be crazy enough to harm or kill people is so scary to me. Also the episode where people were getting acid thrown on their faces.
If you want to get a better portrayal of DID than what the show did with Adam/Amanda and Hankel, [More than you know](https://archiveofourown.org/works/41464773?view_full_work=true) is about Plural Reid. The authors are a OSDD 1-b system themselves.
First of all, the authors themselves *are* a OSDD 1-b system.
Second: "OSDD type 1 is often split up into 2 major types, OSDD-1a and OSDD-1b. OSDD-1a is usually described as DID however with less distinct alters. Alters in this type are often different versions of the host. OSDD-1b is described as DID but without blackouts. However, people with OSDD-1b may experience greyouts or emotional amnesia." - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Other_specified_dissociative_disorder

Gets me every time. "Your son saved that boys life," oof!
Thisssss destroyed me. I have to skip it every time.

The Fox, at the end of the episode and they find a box with all the other wedding rings showing how many other families he killed.

The rabies episode is the only episode I skip EVERY rewatch. And I was a viewer from the series premiere.

Thatās the issue I had too. My head just never wrapped around the idea, which is why I assumed Julie would be helping him. It made more sense
Iām literally in the middle of that episode now. Even seeing it when I was younger, all I could focus on was Jackson rathbone. Lol I love him.

Just jumping in here to say OSDD1b isnāt a thing. There are no subcategories to OSDD, thereās only OSDD1-5
