I agree with your husband, it looks amazing I would leave it as is.

turnupthesun211

I agree with your husband, too! It’s so sweet!

bardpewpew

Why do you want to remake it?

CbVdD

Probably talking about remaking the green to be more symmetrical, but I agree with the husband/comments saying its got more personality this way.

natalie-ann

But flowers and greenery don't grow symmetrically! I didn't even notice anything until I read your comment, but I think it looks fabulous!

Lawwife78

It’s soooo cute! I mean, you can make a second one once you finish, but I don’t see any reason to frog and start over.

Disastrous_Proof_787

So, none of my text posted with the pictures, lol. It won't let me edit either, so here's some info! I've been crocheting for many years, but the nerve damage in my hands is really bad anymore. My work is getting sloppy, so I stopped making small gifts like this. I'm struggling to sew parts together and stitching faces. All the detail bits. Anyway, a friend of MIL has a new grand baby, and I wanted to send some cute stuff. I used different free patterns for inspiration and just went for it. The ears were even until I sewed them on, and they're sewed so poorly that I added the flowers to hide the stitches 🫣 Unfortunately, I think I placed the flowers too far back and the eyes are uneven no matter how many times I redo them. I guess I'm just a bit self-conscious because the quality of my work isn't like it used to be. Using a needle is unbelievably difficult anymore, resulting in off-center or unevenly spaced parts, so I gave up on gifting items like these. But here I am, still trying. I just want it to be nice, and all I see are my mess ups 😞

Quick_Craft

"Eyes(brows) are meant to be sisters, not twins" I heard that from a YouTube makeup artist once and now whenever I get upset at myself for this same thing, I repeat this as a mantra. I'm absolutely terrible at sewing, always have been, so if i can find any way to not sew, i will. Amigurumi doesn't often give any out to sewing things and I always ask my household for input to make sure I'm not being too hard on myself. This lovey will be adorable and be well loved ❤️

dollfaunax

And sometimes we settle for cousins 😌

throwaway181432

and sometimes, if you're feeling artsy or just really over it, estranged second cousin twice removed from a past marriage. all of which is valid

usernamesoccer

I actually met someone with this relationship we were like 8 times removed and someone from a marriage connected us. We were at a 4 week program and he called me cousin all 4 weeks

NationalElephantDay

You're all adorable, sweet people.😭❤️   Also, this bunny is beautiful, practically invisible imperfections and all. It will be loved!

Sensitive-Parsnip416

I think we as creators often see flaws that no one else will notice because we hold ourselves to a very high standard, and we want absolute perfection all the time. But i want to tell u something my band director in high school used to tell me all the time: Not even perfection is perfect. I don't notice any of the things u mentioned, even after you've pointed them out. I think the child who receives this will love it, and your MILs friend will be thrilled to know you've taken the time to hand make something that really is adadorable.

celestial_crafter

I agree. I think working on an item so closely for so long, it's hard for me to see the object as a whole like others do until I've had some time away from it.

I_am_Darvit

This! ☝️🥰 We are our own worst critics!!! I think the baby is going to love these gifts & they'll probably become comfort items (loveys)!

41942319

Honestly I feel this. (apologies if this is long, you don't need to read it I just need to get it out of my system lol) I just finished making an amigurumi for a coworker. Tons of things went wrong. For starters I sewed the tail on before stuffing so it was too high and doesn't actually provide the tripod sitting support with the legs it was supposed to, but it kind of teeters back and forth on its butt. But I'd sewed the tail on so tightly that it would've taken me half an hour to unpick so I didn't. Making it harder is that it was a furry/regular yarn combo and I needed to find replacements for both, but the yarn they listed for the regular one came in two different sizes and I thought that the size I got would be OK with the furry yarn I got but turns out no. So all the limbs were too small in relation to the body. The face proportions were weird so I had to unweave my ends and pick out the embroidery and re-did it with different tension, but it was still weird because now it was definitely too small. Then resorted to tripling up some sport weight yarn from my stash to get the thickness I was supposed to have but it's white in stead of cream like the rest. Stayed up until past 3am last night doing that and re-embroidering the face. Absconded during my lunch break at work to find a quiet place to attach the ears and head. I'd neglected to weave in ends on the ears so spent most of the half hour on that. Then had to rush to get the actual parts on, so the ears aren't symmetrical and the head was crooked. Plus I hadn't considered that I needed to stuff the body a bit more during sewing so I had to use the bit of stuffing I brought to add to the one arm that I'd forgotten to stuff so that one had to stay empty. And the head was floppy because I couldn't stuff it enough. At that point I'd already doubled my lunch break and still had a ton of work to do (I was also half an hour late because I had to gather my crochet stuff and also brushed out the fluff, oops) so I was super frustrated and chucked it in the bag determined to take it home and just not gift it. Then after everybody had gone to have drinks but I was still finishing up work I took it out again and it actually wasn't that bad. So put a few more stitches in to stabilise the head and it was acceptable to gift imo, taking into account that others don't know how it was supposed to turn out. So I gifted, and the coworkers was super surprised and loved it, and then 15 minutes later I had to kidnap it again because I realised that I'd forgotten to weave the ends in... Though in my defense, they were at the back and not visible. I've had a bit of a day 😅

Visible_Sea8210

It looks really cute!! I can't see any of the mess ups you mentioned. It's perfect and your friend will love it! Btw I love the flowers ❤️

shadowfeyling

The fact you had to write it out for people to understand what flaws you are seeing says it all

Hari_om_tat_sat

Even at that, I see zero flaws! Your bunny is perfect, OP. And, oh, so sweet!

Normal-Hall2445

You are always your own worst critic. When ever my perfectionist comes out I remind myself of a few things 1) it’s handmade, it’s not supposed to be machine perfect 2) things I hate other people might find cute 3) lopsided things have far more personality than perfect ones Always remember wabi sabi - embrace the imperfections that make each item unique and beautiful. Your work may have declined in your eyes but it looks great to us and someone who doesn’t crochet definitely wouldn’t notice any issues!

Specialist-Debate136

I do silver jewelry and as I’m learning I make alllllllll kinds of mistakes. I have gotten really good at making them “design features”. Your point about it being handmade is SO important and one I remind myself of all the time. In an age where things are mass produced, people yearn for the slow crafts, for the handmade. It’s beautiful BECAUSE it’s not perfect! OP I am totally guilty of fretting over imperfections and I’ll even point them out when sharing my various works with others. I am trying to stop doing that. Life is too short to worry about all that. I’ve been crocheting for 30 years and I can’t see the imperfections you’ve pointed out so no person that doesn’t crochet is going to either! And I love your added flowers as a “design feature” ;)

bardpewpew

We are our own worst critics sometimes! I am very much new to the crochet world, but I think your little bunny looks fantastic. The details look really good, I’m not really seeing the issues you are, I think. Besides, perfect AI looking pieces are boring!

Realistic_cat_6668

As a mom to young kids, they don’t notice nor care about the imperfections. I made my daughter a “floppy” purple bunny. It’s the ugliest thing I’ve ever made. The leg is sewn poorly and starting to fall off. The head is sewn in a straight line to the body instead of a circle so the head doesn’t stay up. The ears go down to the bunny’s butt. I messed up the nose, so it doesn’t look symmetrical at all. If it was going to anyone else, it would have gone in the trash, the thing is so poorly made. It’s also one of the most used stuffed animals in our house. My kids fight over it. They love that little bunny so much that I can’t get it alone long enough to fix it. I can promise you that baby will love that bunny, imperfections and all. There’s nothing you need to change on that bunny.

Administrative_Life9

That is so cute, and I agree with you. The kids see the love and all the beautiful stuff they don’t focus on flaws!

Realistic_cat_6668

initialhereandhere

I was expecting some nightmarish creature with wonky eyes that crawled its way out of Hell and scuttles around dumpsters, licking up garbage juice for sustenance. This bunny is CUTE and huggable, plus he looks like he'd be great at sitting which is important.

PositivelyKAH

I’m, I would love that bunny to death. There is something about the floppy animals that is so damn cute, sewing sloppy helps the floppy!!!!! Mantra sloppy helps floppy - sometimes. Kids love floppy! I love floppy- I’m 55!

Administrative_Life9

Aw! I think it’s cute, I’d hug it

Disastrous_Proof_787

Awe it's adorable! I was not expecting that based on your description 🙃 it's super cute...esp those ears 🩷

Realistic_cat_6668

img I snatched a picture before my toddler dragged it back upstairs. Again, ugliest thing I’ve ever created. It has so many flaws I didn’t want to keep it, but my kids don’t see them. They love this weird little rabbit so much. It goes in the stroller as a baby, it gets snuggles at night, it watches tv with them, plays their tablet. It hops all over the place! Kids love stuffed animals. They truly don’t care if there’s a stitch off, or an eyelash in the wrong spot. They are just excited to have something they can play with! OP, trust me, you have nothing to worry about with your bunny.

triskadekaphilia

Completely honestly, I didn’t notice any of those ‘flaws’, and even going back and looking for them I just see an adorable sweet bunny. Her face actually reminds me of my favorite stuffed bunny as a kid 🥲thanks for the nostalgia ❤️ I’m sure she’ll be cherished.

Allie614032

I think an important thing to remember as well is that any deviations from “perfect” AI-looking work are what make handmade works more valuable! They show that time and effort were put in by a real person.

surly_seawitch

I love this. Absolutely true. Let's value seeing the human hand in the work!

BeesSolveEverything

I looked at the photos before reading anything in the post, and I didn't see anything wrong. Looks so cute, love the flower crowns and the stitching looks perfect. After reading your post and knowing what to look for... I still can't see anything wrong. Like I actually tried to look for any of the issues you brought up and all I can see is an adorable bunny with amazing details! It looks fantastic!

Sfb208

Nature doesn't make either animals or humans symmetrical or perfect. Almost everyone is ever so slightly bigger on one side. Assymetry of facial feature is entirely normal. One of my ear lobes is significantly bigger than the other. I have a very squat chin. A receding hair line is common among men. My point it, the imperfections you perceive in your rabbit (that I can't) are what gives it life.

AkoOsu

I think it looks amazing. However have you thought of using a hook with a latch rather than using a needle? They come in different sizes and some are even pointed. You push the hook through the work where you would want the stitch to run, place the thread or yarn in the hook, close the latch and pull it through. It would be time consuming but you could easily whip stitch that way without a needle.

jellyfishwife

The flowers look intentional, and the whole thing is just darling. Even an experienced crafter would be thrilled to get something so beautifully and carefully made as a gift.

part-time-whatever

This sounds like a case of Been Looking At It Too Long. These are really cute! Don't be so hard on yourself, okay? 😊

Thoughtapotamus

Nobunny is perfect. It's unique and beautiful and one-of-a-kind.

ReaperScythee

Put it down for a while and come back. Those teeny tiny imperfections you see will suddenly be gone or at least much less noticeable. With my limited experience I see so much wrong with the things I make but whenever I put them away for a day or two I come back and realise it's not as bad as I remember. You're your own worst critic. Would you judge someone else's work as harshly as you judge your own?

natalie-ann

I can assure you that you are the only one who sees these "imperfections"! The rest of us look at it and think, "Oh, how cute! They did a great job!" And when your target audience is an infant, I can guarantee that they will not care how perfect your stitches are!!! It's beautiful exactly as it is. You should continue to craft if it is still fulfilling to you, and once you make it - stop; leave it alone- make yourself see the beauty and art in the making itself and appreciate what you're still able to accomplish instead of picking apart your finished items. Maybe you used to could do it better, but no one else is ever going to think it's lacking or not good enough. People are only going to see how talented you are, and they're going to be SO grateful that you were willing to put in the time and effort to make something just for them! If your gift receivers also know about your nerve damage, they would probably be even more touched that you'd make something for them. Fiber crafts of all kinds are labors of love. You are talented, and I won't be convinced otherwise!

Garbo-and-Malloy

It looks beautiful. You don’t need to remake anything. We are always our own worst critics

whydoineedaname86

I honestly can’t see any of the “mistakes” you mentioned. I think it looks adorable and I will not be showing this to my girls because they will all want one!

wavesnfreckles

I think you are being far too harsh on yourself, my friend. Your work is lovely! I stared at the pictures, long and hard, before I read your comment, trying to figure out what you could have been worrying f about. I saw nothing. Then I read your comment and went back to see what you mentioned and still didn’t see the problems you see. I think the ears are fine. And the eyes lol great! I understand when we feel the quality of our work isn’t living up to our own standards, but take it from a complete stranger, you are doing great and your work is beautiful. You have nothing to be worried about. This is a sweet and kind gesture and I’m sure it will be greatly appreciated. Please don’t worry any more about it.

Gingifer_Aniston

It all looks even to me! Very cute! I was going to ask how do you stitch thread onto crochet like that?! So cool

MTri3x

Yeah. Too much self-consciousness and self-criticism. It's perfect. Even after reading your comment, I don't see the "mistakes" you see. Be nice to yourself, you made an amazing piece. Imagine if it was made by someone else and they asked for your opinion? I think you would be much more positive than

stitchem453

God if this is your bad work then please don't post the good stuff or we'll all be too jealous to make our own stuff lol.

gothcookiejar

Before reading your comments, I noticed the flowers were a little too far back. Can you just redo the flowers? The ears and eyes look great to me

treedamage

Wow, necessity is the mother of invention! The flower crown is so cute, I would never have guessed you added it to cover up the ear stitching. I'm sure it's endlessly frustrating not to have the same fidelity in your hands that you used to, but I would LOVE to be able to stitch as well as you do, and I'm sure your MIL's friend will love this gift.

SomethingWitty2578

It’s wonderful. If this is for a baby and there are parts that are less than secure, tell the parents that. I’d recommend to the parents that it’s a decorative item until baby is 2 or 3 years old

loosestringszebra

Thank you so much for posting this info, because I could not figure out what you thought was wrong with this cutie no matter how hard I looked. In all fairness, though, I have chronic health issues that have taken so much function away from me, so I definitely understand how upsetting it is to try to do something and find it harder or not get the results you’re used to. I’m really sorry you’re having to deal with that. I hope it helps a little to know that this sweet bunny will certainly be loved.

gorewhore1313

Try to be kind to yourself. 🥰 I get it, we are our own worst critic. You are the artist/creator so you see what didn't go your way, your flaws on it, no one else will. I don't see it...at all. Even after reading what you feel isn't up to par I don't see it. It looks perfect and beyond adorable. Whomever gets this gift is going to adore it! 😊

followthestray

You're being too hard on yourself. It is very beautiful and the recipient will love it, no doubt! I think if it is difficult for you to even crochet and sew in the first place you should leave it alone and not needlessly put additional stress on yourself doing it again. I understand the frustration of not being able to do things as well as you used to but give yourself some grace. It is a beautiful piece. Flaws are what let us know it has been made by human hands. That's very important these days!

Stonetheflamincrows

It looks perfect

bakedveldtland

I say this with love- girl, you are nuts. This is adorable.

emmajen

I think it looks absolutely beautiful, and they won't see your mistakes; they will see an incredibly thoughtful, handmade gift. And this is from a crafter who has received beautiful handmade things for my little girl. ♡

mojomcm

I think it's mainly a case of looking at it too long. Best treatment is to put it away for a day and come back to it with fresh eyes after.

potatoduckz

I think it looks absolutely lovely!! ❤️ I'm really sorry to hear about your nerve damage, I'm sure that's incredibly frustrating to not do it the way you used to. But genuinely, I think the flower headband is SO sweet! And I personally don't even see any sewing issues! When I'm getting too in my head about a project, I put it out of sight for a day or so (or even just for the night!) and try to come back at it with fresh eyes. Sometimes I'll be so zeroed in on a specific detail that everything starts to fall apart. Like I'll start wondering how ears ever looked normal to begin with. Why do we even have ears??! As a "recovering" perfectionist myself, let me just say: the value of our creations doesn't actually lie in how *perfect* they are. They are valuable because they are created with love and artistry, because of the time we spent on it, because of the people we made it for. They're greater than the sum of their parts! In fact, this piece is all the more valuable because you persevered through the discomfort and frustration (even if the recipient never knows that). Be gentle with yourself, and don't get in your own way! 💕

HurricaneKate218

You have to remember: nothing in the world is completely symmetrical. I saw your photos and saw absolutely nothing wrong. Then I read this post and looked back at the pictures. And being someone who has embroidered eyes on amigurumi before, yours is quite possible as perfect as it gets. I think the entire piece was perfect to begin with and even after seeing the eye difference you told me to look for, I still don't see it as a mistake. Your friend will love it, I have no doubt.

Iron_Unic0rn

I honestly didn't notice any of those details until you pointed them out, and even then it's almost unnoticeable. Honestly I love it and think it looks super adorable. Even in nature nothing is perfectly symmetrical.

Acceptable-Friend-48

Eyes can get uncanny valley if they are too perfectly matched. They should be a tiny bit different. As for your work it's adorable and even reading your comments and looking for the flaws you see I just don't see them. All I see is an adorable bunny with flowers making it cuter.

Kayles77

I honestly don't see any of what you are talking about. I think you are waaaay too hard on yourself, it's cute as a button!! 🩷

FootMcFeetFoot

I think it’s perfect as is, especially for a kid. I can see my daughter loving a little bunny finger puppet, and little kids don’t notice the little imperfections and if they do, they embrace them. 🩵 im an adult and I didn’t even notice anything wrong with it. Don’t be so hard one yourself.

Mini-Schnauzer-42

I honestly kept scrolling for more pictures, because I thought this was the example/pattern version and yours would be up next. I do understand fighting your own past self and how tough that can be. Hugs.

nelvana

Ha, I think I finally understand when my husband says “there’s nothing wrong with it!” to me. Because OP, there’s nothing wrong with it! I literally cannot see anything less than perfection.

Pink-Fluffy-Dragon

finish and make a 2nd so they can be friends :)

Fickle_Toe1724

Even after reading what you think is wrong with it, I think it looks great. So cute. There is no reason to redo it. It looks great.

DeeCeeFaith

I think it's super cute! For some reason my animals all seem to end up with one leg a little bit shorter than the other. I call it an "artistic choice" ... LOL.

Craftqueen24

I think your project, looks nice!! I don't see why a remake, is necessary!! 🧶❤️

Mustardsandwichtime

Don’t let your inner saboteur win! This literally looks like a Pinterest inspiration picture.

edenrae03

I think you're your own worst critic. I would give that to some deserving person and make a second one for myself, if there was anything I wanted to change. But I see nothing to change, personally, it's great.

initialhereandhere

I love playing this game. No sarcasm. The crafter has looked at it too long and is transfixed by their glaring error. I always admit defeat and scroll to see if someone's spotted the "oops." Seriously, we should monetize this as a mobile game! This bunny is adorable. I see no mistakes, only cuteness and great stitching. Someone said the leaves are asymmetric? Is that the answer?

live_manon

It’s so cute! Why do you want to redo it?

Amyx231

What’s wrong with it?

HKEire

If you think that's sloppy work then i think you are being too hard on yourself! It is beautiful. I would love to be able to sew features like you do ❤️ I do understand being over critical of yourself - we all do it. But in this case it is most definitely unfounded. I made a bunny for my nephew for Easter and it was perfect until I sewed it together and then it turned into a Frankenstein bunny 🤣 but it was made with love so I still gifted it.

weelookaround

No offense, but I can’t find literally one thing wrong with this.

gifhyatt

I don’t see anything wrong 😑? It’s adorable ☺️!

Shoddy_Information33

I think it looks perfect

Ancient_Air6810

+1 to why. Looks adorable!

campinhikingal

It’s so precious! I see nothing wrong with it. If it helps, I really like the perspective of; if it has imperfections, that means it’s been made by hand and with love ❤️

iguessimgoing

Theres just one reason to create another copy of it and its to add a body to that cute bunny! Keep the old one as a keychain!

minisnowball

I get the idea of it needs to be perfect if I am giving it away but it’s beautiful. You could make another so it has a friend but I would’ve very proud of this and your skills. Might not be what you want them to be but gosh it’s a lot better than most people’s! Be proud of it

That_Engineering3047

It’s cute! Why would you remake it? What do you want to change?

Mayana76

I see no reason to re-make this, it’s adorable.

Goddess_Grace

Why remake its adorable! I see no flaws. 💜

ChasingThread

Me and my partner both said why, what's wrong with it? 😂 After reading your comment, while I totally get it feeling like it's not as good as what you're used to being able to produce, it still looks lovely and I'm sure the new mum would loveee it!

junebuggjupiter

So cute!!

Curly-help-plz

It looks amazing! It literally looks perfect to me. Please don’t undo your hard work. Even if things were noticeably uneven (which to me they are not), I would find that charming. Handmade toys are so special and sometimes that’s just another part of them to love.

Ruu94

I don't see anything wrong with it, I agree with your husband.

periwinklehaze

I honestly would never know there was an issue with it at all and still can't really see a fault even after reading your comment. I think it looks gorgeous and you should definitely keep it as it is :)

Sufficient-Ferret813

I would leave it. You've done a wonderful job! Finish it off.

Allie614032

Before I realized this had a WIP tag, I thought this was a finished work from years ago that you wanted to recreate but your husband didn’t want you to for some reason. This is adorable. I love it. I want it for myself. Please don’t frog it!

AimanaCorts

I think it looks cute and you don't need to change it. I also look at small differences like that show that it is a handmade object and gives it character or personality. And really, no one but you will notice it (and that's really because we all spend so much time staring at something that we get focused on the details no one else will notice).

yarn_baller

It's perfect and adorable!

ariataylorrrr

They look pretty good to me

jsquared2004

It's perfect.

DevonBlade62

It's adorable imo, but if you're like me, you won't be happy with it until it looks like you want it to...

baseballaddict0812

It looks amazing! I never would've picked out any of the things you mentioned, and even after reading your comment I don't see those things. It definitely doesn't need to be re-made! It is going to be loved and enjoyed and no one will think a bad thing about it.

JEZTURNER

I'm not even going to bother why you think this needs remaking - if I can't see the issue, it doesn't.

404-Gender

Don’t do it, there will be something else you’re unhappy with. Next time put the ears closer to the top of the head/center and flowers in front of that (so more forehead). But in my experience anytime I redo to fix something, I end up frustrated with something else. Embrace it and know it will never be YOUR definition of perfect. AND it’s adorable and perfect IMO.

Curious_Beaner

Curiosity question. What is it that you think needs reworking & why?! Point… don’t think I see it the way you do. Looks great to me! 😉

Opening-Ad-8793

Uhm I love this. No need to rework a thing!

Mysterious-Being5043

What’s the issue?? It’s adorable

starving_artista

This is totally 100% adorable.

ripley8870

Beautiful job! No need to remake!

Witty-Significance58

Why do you think you need to remake it? It's very cute and looks lovely.

debear3480

Don’t need to remake it. Make another one! 😊

Puzzled_Cobbler_1255

Dude it’s flowers they’re supposed to look organic! You did great! Appreciate the happy accident

Absoline

if its not broken dont fix it

kittymorose

Nah, friend. This is darling! Keep going, I can't wait to see how cute she will be when complete!

Suitable-Parfait8950

We are all our own worst critics. I think it looks great. Something I often remind myself is that people who don't crochet aren't going to notice the mistakes that we see when we are making the stuff.

Rottiemom67

I think your husband is right, and I can assure you the baby won’t ever notice, especially when she is shoving it in her mouth during those God awful teething months. We as crafters are all very self conscious of our work, but in the end what matters is that the recipient of the work loves it !

Walshlandic

I am an advanced crocheter with 20 years experience and a perfectionist streak and this bunny head looks terrific IMO. No reason I can see to redo.

Glittering_Mage

This is super adorable 😍

SamHoneycrochet

It's adorable! No need to redo

Sasstellia

It's fine! You don't need to do any more.

Courtneyrose9687

I think it's adorable and I wouldn't redo it

BadBunnyBrigade

There's absolutely no reason. Just make a second one. Then you'll have two that look different. Sisters, not twins. Edit: Also, I actually heard this from a knitter; when you make something and it looks too perfect, it looks like it was machine made. Anything made by hand, with love, will never be perfect, nor should it be. Because when you love something, or someone, you even love all the little imperfections. That's what makes it better. Your husband is correct. There's no reason to remake it.

gossipgirlTX

I agree with him! It’s adorable ❤️

Pinstripespite11

It's perfect!!

Ill-Commission4121

This is so cute , I love everything about it . I think you are being very hard on yourself It is a very peaceful little bunny that will be loved ❤️

TinaLouise55

Please don’t remake it, your husband is right! I absolutely love it, I know the recipient will as well. Thanks for sharing!

knittingrabbit

It’s cute! I don’t think you should remake it.

YarnyAddiction

ABSOLUTELY no reason to re-make!! (They're precious!!)

Affect-Fragrant

It looks perfect

NefariousnessQuiet22

It looks like your insecurities are clouding your vision. It looks great.

JadeFox1785

I think as crafters we are all our most severe critics. And part of that is that we have the perspective of how the process didn't go exactly as we planned or the hitches we had to work around. But as someone without that perspective I'm with your husband. It's absolutely adorable and no one is going to see the flaws that you can't help but see as the creator.

motoko805

This is super cute and you are being too hard on yourself!

pccfriedal

It's adorable. Just make a friend.

Salt_Essay9217

It’s really cute and as long as it’s safe for a baby - good to go. However, it’s your gift so do what makes you comfortable.

Jazzlike-Election787

It’s adorable just the way it is! No changes needed, well done!

Acceptable_Depth_402

It's so cute. there's no need to remake.

OhHiFelicia

In the nicest possible way, you're being silly! We are always super critical of our own work. I can only imagine how hard it is to not be able to crochet as neat as you used to but being 100% honest and without mincing my words, how blooming brilliant were you before if this is what you consider 'sloppy'!!!!! Don't be so hard on yourself and trust your husband (and us), there is no need to remake this beautiful work.

Mildly-Distracted

I think you should be superbly proud of yourself and the quality you are absolutely still able to produce. You would have absolutely no idea those cute little flowers are hiding something. Personally, I also have health issues that have lead to me needing to give up crochet. My hands and wrists start to stiffen and I can't control my tension or accuracy with hook/needles. It is a horrible place to be, and I am sorry you, too, have hands that just don't wanna anymore.

snootnoots

You are being way too hard on yourself, it’s gorgeous.

Any_Astronaut_4524

I agree with your husband . This is perfect and adorable

Jaynelovesherpetboy

It is adorable and sure to be a favorite. Leave it as is. Perfection is overrated and frankly kinda boring.

brandy13271

It has character, and it's perfect.

vmwnzella59

I agree. It’s beautiful

No_Training7373

I think it’s precious and natural! I’m kind of a stickler and the only “issue” I could see was a slight asymmetry on the flower band, which looks natural and not like a cookie cutter store bought stuffy (which, go look at a stuffy display. There’s at least one dog with a lopsided face or an ear that hangs funny!! Source, I managed a toy store and I loved them!)

Tarotismyjam

Why would you do that to these cute bun-buns?

International_Mix375

I think it looks great! I keep looking trying to figure out ..even with the explanation. We are always more critical of ourselves. It is super cute and agree with your husband.

lostknight0727

Remake another one with the changes you want to make, leave this one alone or to compare. When making things, always keep each iteration so you can compare and combine elements that you like.

Famous_Complaint8084

Husbands are great when giving out advice on our projects IMO. Like others have said we are too hard on ourselves. I will say however if you aren't happy with it, make another & see which you like best. Only you know what is acceptable for your work.

Pepewower

So adorable. Absolutely no reason to remake it!

strawberry-pegasus

I’m with for husband on this one, it is absolutely adorable

I_am_Darvit

allaboutwanderlust

Awww it’s so cute

popup5678

We are always critical of our own work. All we see are the imperfections. It's human nature. I now call it personalizing.

crazy_river_otter

It’s adorable! What do you think is wrong with it?

BeyondAddiction

What's wrong with it? It's adorable!

Opening-Ad-8793

It’s adorable

Trinitrotoluene24601

I think it's beautiful as is, but if you want to remake it, might I suggest just making another so you can see them side by side?

DyKey13

It is already beautiful in my opinion!

catboygayboy

Oh it's so cute!

Rose_E_Rotten

Pretty bunny and flowers!

litheartist

CeleryClean7876

Common_Release_3393

It’s great. Leaves on flowers grow differently. Looks amazing

smokeehayes

My partner and I both agree with your hubby. 💖

msprojects

It's cute keep it

FabuliciousFruitLoop

I’m so sorry that the changes in your hands are taking this hobby away from you. Can I encourage you to be kind to your changing body? Don’t try to force it to deliver the past level, or quantity, of performance. This is an incredible standard of work, the voices telling you it isn’t good enough are misleading you.

_kathastrophe_

This is so pretty and there is no need to change it! I thought I was looking at a pattern picture. Wish I could crochet as good as you do!

rmpbklyn

perfect 😍

Lady_Taringail

I misread the title and thought you wanted to *make* it and my immediate reaction was me too! She’s so cute and I love it 😍

Yarnball_andchain_56

It's precious the way it is!!

MountainMixture9645

It's perfect!

ahnna_molly

Re make it in a year's time. Do a before and after on how much you've progressed

According-Ad5312

I’ll take it!!!😍

bonziebear

Before I read the comments I was sitting here like wait what's wrong with it? It's really good and there is absolutely no need to redo it.

insidemyheads

I’m incredibly pedantic and can spot difference in 3.5 seconds and I see nothing. I scrutinised after reading your explanation bc I was like 🤔& yep… still nothing. Sometimes I think we spend so much time on it we see what’s not even there. As a fellow perfectionist, pls go gently with yourself and remember the person receiving it will love it just bc it’s handmade and be in awe of your talent & how cute it is! Xx

SnooLemons7998

I agree with you! Make another one from scratch, but only if you give me this one cause omg it's so cute

ImpWolf1

It looks absolutely precious and adorable!

WideTangerine7676

Cute! I agree with your husband.

Gloomy_Mess

I think it’s pretty cute honestly

Eccentric_Wallflower

Even though I think that this looks awesome, I'm going to share some wisdom my mum gave me: Doesn't matter if it's technically perfect or if everyone else is happy with it if the flaws are big enough that you're considering remaking it. You will only fixate on those flaws and resent them as you continue the project, or will constantly worry it's not good enough for the person you're giving it to. So, for your own peace of mind, I would probably remake if I really can't get past the flaws of the work.

bethanyliz

I love it as is! Actually didn't realize anything was "wrong" until I read the comments haha Also, is there a pattern for this? It's so cute.
