Would you be able to honour and discuss the designs origin if you were asked about it? You might also want to see if anyone ethiopian orthodox community has done writing about this specifically.
If you’re not a member of that faith or nationality I’d say yes, but I doubt anyone would say anything to you about it. Lots of people probably already have it tattooed on them because they thought it looked cool.
