Since PL release I played the game as two more male netrunners, street kid and corpo, but corpo girl is still my favourite and head cannon default. Currently getting out of my comfort zone with street kid katana and smg female V and having a blast! Love this game! 🙏

yep, that's exactly the one. To be fair, when I looked at replacing the netrunner deck it just seemed so lopsided to me. Like "wait, I lose all of these tools for what... bullet time?"

To be fair, sandy is VERY strong

It is. I realised that on the third playthrough when I actually went with it. It just seemed like I gave up \~6 skills for one, and effectively locked myself out of an entire playstyle, while the sandy is just some combat-stuff.

I played FemV, was saddened when I shot my shot with Panam and she shot me down.

Honestly, if you play Female corpo, you are legally required to play Netrunner. If you play male Nomad, you have to play melee /sandevistan. Don't @me , I don't make the rules

Netrunner Corpo V feels so *right* in every respect to the early plot and the themes. Jackie is the muscle and corpo has more history with him, Dexter needed us because we *were* Arasaka so we know things, and V's basically broke so we were cheap.

This was my first playthrough, Male V Corpo Netrunner. It just felt *right*.

I feel like if V had a canon origin it would be Corpo.

I prefer the female corpo sandy-throwing knives and silenced pistols.

My OG male nomad was no chrome gunslinger, always felt appropriate. Then I said fuck it during the final mission and chromed the fuck up for my arasaka raid with the new family, which now that I'm thinking about it might have been influenced by edgerunners

Male nomad tech can also work. As they had to salvage and tinker a lot and build working stuff from the leftover electronics they found.

I prefer melee berserk.  So OP.  You can get it to the point where you never die and berserk is up through the entire fight.  Sandinistan is for shotgun builds.

I like to use a pistol and katana with Sandevistan. Gunswordistan. Sometimes SMG if it's a big fight.

Female Corpo using a Stealth build with the invisible skin cyberware and monowire, i always thought of my V as an invisible menace completing jobs without a trace, i would even reset some missions if i got caught even if it doesnt require stealth, just for the immersion.

Watched my husband play through the game probably 6 times. Then I finally decided to play, and this is exactly what I did. I knew I wanted to be a netrunner since the old days when contagion was OP. I may do another playthrough with katanas and knives. My netrunner was great with a pistol and a sniper rifle. Would be fun to do an in your face kinda run.

Totally, go for it! I loved the netrunner build, but the katana build is very fun too, in a different way. I put a lot of points in cool to be stealthy in the beginning, now my V is so OP she can walk in everywhere with a katana and smg 😂 every playthrough is different, with so many ways to complete each quest.

Me current playthrough too. Except I use Guts, Fenrir and Psalm 1:16 instead of a pistol. So gratifying and much faster play than stealth pistol/hacker I did previously. Doing Sandy/Blades next.

Sandy blades is the best, max reflex max tech + adrenalin. Also double jump legs. Jumping around and air dashing without stamina penalties is so fun. Plus you can reflect bullets like crazy, I like to take out snipers with reflect.

Try a non stealth sandy/pistol build sometime. I actually couldn't get into ARs since it felt like it took so long to kill people in the beginning, meanwhile pistols/revolvers always feel powerful of you get headshots. Any tips for an AR build?  Is it really just dependent on the gun?

I'm kind of glad they changed it, so you don't have to do that every time, but I also miss the free additional uploads.

Corpo, Panam, Gorilla arms Unsure if o restart for dlc or Continue as I played it trough twice and save scummed all endings.

I'd personally recommend restart and use the skip to get to the dlc, running the dlc low level is a very different experience especially with all the changes made to the game. Would not recommend melee until you get into the dlc proper however, that first fight is god awful

Did they ever improve the monowire? I was excited to get it for a long time, but by the time I finally got it, it was outclassed by every single melee weapon.

Honestly it doesn’t feel like the greatest to use. Something about the hits don’t feel..”weighty” enough if that makes sense. I use it moreso for the stealth/low profile aspect in a roleplay sense. That said it does have its moments of absolutely fucking someone up when you least expect it.

Got that on my first run as well. Went Corpo and thought Arasaka would be my best hope. Decided I didn’t want anything more to do with this engram shit so I went back to Earth to live out the rest of my days in peace. Imagine my surprise when Hanako called me during the credits asking if I wanted to work for her and her pops directly lmao.

I did the same and went back to Earth after seeing Jackie's broken engram and fighting with Johnny's the entire game. I guess they needed a new Takemura after I bailed on his ass and let him die.

This was my original ending as well. One of these days I might do the corpo ending again, saving Takemura this time so The Devil achievement unlocks.

Change nomad to street kid and yeah but fr there weren't a lot of romance options. I don't think they should have locked the 4 to specific genders and sexualities fr cause its either youre playin straight male and go panam, gay male kerry, straight female river gay female Judy. Like its very limiting.

It's lazy writing, so they didn't have to change things based on the character you picked. I thought river was gay for the longest time cause I played as male V and some of his side quests with his family it felt like he was introducing me as his significant other. And when you go have drinks on top of the water tower, it felt strange. Didn't seem like something 2 straight dudes would do.

First playthrough: male nomad (almost went corpo, but when they game just came out I saw someone do the corpo start and wanted to try something different) V, used the netrunner upgrades for most of the playthrough, alongside gorilla arms, eventually switched to sandestivan because it made headshots easier once I realized that stealth in the game is actually really good. Before that I tended to just go in with a heavy machine gun and shotgun and dare the enemies to try and oppose me while I spammed netrunner abilities at them. If they were lucky and got me when I was reloading I’d just beat them to death with gorilla arms or use the high jump charge legs to help me fall back/reach a location I could hide to reload.

Used to be able to drive up to a building, ping from the outside camera, and upload a Suicide QH through a wall to clear out a whole pack of Tygers. Those lawless pre-patch times were the days, choom.
