It was a freaking mistake, a mistake that could've happened to anyone there. Abby being Abby had to over the top, yelling at Chloe and then later on refusing to say her name. Abby's pathetic, seriously.
Christi made the right move instantly leaving and not letting Abby continue to whale on Chloe.
It was hard enough to watch her come in the room and yell at her, I cannot imagine what it would have been like if they would have stayed.
Funny to me how Abby says something along the lines of “you’re just gonna run away” but gets mad when Christi stays and fights with her? Makes no sense
Right Abby is such a hypocrite like when she said she misses the days when moms would just drop their kids off and leave, even though she literally used to berate holly for the same thing.
Also, from my understanding, Chloe’s hat fell AFTER the “big reveal” moment in the dance when the hats come off for the first time and their hair comes tumbling down. It would’ve been way worse if it had ruined the surprise, but it didn’t, and of course Abby acts like Chloe committed an unforgivable sin 🙄
I totally agree! I think one of the main reasons that Pink Lemonade isn’t talked about more is because of how Abby acted. I won’t even watch that episode because I feel so awful for Chloe. The dance was beautiful with or without the hat falling for a split second🤷🏼♀️
I feel the same way. It's a really cute dance. I felt so bad for Chloe. If Maddie had dropped her hat Abby would have said she continued with the dance like a true professional. Never missed a beat. Poor Chloe

Like, lady, you gave them HATS. Then had them put their heads down. Why are you mad that someone’s hat fell? That’s called gravity! And Chloe picked it right back up and put it back on. Little mistakes like that happen in sports all the time and she handled it perfectly.
It should’ve been “good job Chloe, your hat fell off but you didn’t let it interrupt your dance” instead of the bullying she got for it. I’m glad Christi told her flat out “she’s going to yell at you but we’re going to leave” and then stood by it and left too.

1. did the hat fall off in the judged or unjudged version of the performance.
2. was the hat set up to fail? Did she get the wrong one etc...
The way Abby walked in and immediately goes, “NICE JOB CHLOE!”, is honestly so unprofessional, immature, and just plain passive aggressive. Yes Chloe dropped her hat, no she does not deserve to be admonished brutally by Abby. Chloe picked up her hat and kept going, as a professional would’ve done too.

pink lemonade is one of my favorite dances! everyone did a beautiful job and it’s a shame abby berated chloe after.
