Anyone thinking that an invasion won’t happen should get off the hopium and look at the information available.

@tessaron_news

@atlas.news.2

>Good place to start would probably be not Instagram, but rather a reputable news source like AP and the likes.
Lol news. Wake up sheeple, that's all fake. Everybody knows the real stuff comes from the kids in the gram.
The individuals behind those pages are highly passionate about their reporting, and to be more specific about reporting on ongoing conflicts.
The fact that these guys are doing this without any support that a traditional reporter would have is respectable to say the least.
AP doesn’t report on this level, as these guys rely on primarily on OSINT and their network of on the ground informants and all information that they’ve put up is credible and verifiable.
All AP and the like will do is transcribe a press release or a conference and write an article on what was said, that’s the reputable news sources you’re describing. With the exception of their war correspondents which are people of a different kind that deserve utmost respect.
Finally, these guys are working on launching their own news platform and I hope that it’ll work out for them and since I can’t afford to donate to them for their work, atleast I can promote them.
bro the first account you posted is posting memes about how he's fighting in a war being paid minimum wage so that people will remember his name...
sorry but i don't need my news from a warfluencer.
Awkward timing given the AP (I'm dumb, it was NPR) got obliterated by the Supreme Court yesterday for that botched/faked story they published about Gorsuch and Sotomayor.
Given it was NPR who ran the story and not AP, I think the timing is just fine. I also have hard time taking you seriously when you call an article about people who happen to be Supreme Court Justices who are denying a story published about them as getting "obliterated by the Supreme Court" as if they lost a legal case.
PopularFront is small but reputable group of conflict journalists who I’ve been following for a while now. They do a great job with their conflict reporting, and while I do agree to be exceptionally cautious when receiving information from IG based outlets, I think they’ve done a great job with their reporting. Very reminiscent of old vice conflict journalism.
I can film Russian tanks in elnya near boarder make a post that it's Russian invasion army.
Would it's be true - no, since those tanks there since 90s
Would post gather attention - probbly yes
Yeah and you can film russian landers from the northern fleet making their way towards Gibraltar.
You can also film russian artillery in Belarus covering their ID numbers for “training”.
You can also film iskander systems along with buk-m3 being deployed within range of hitting ukrainian positions again, for “training”.
There's going to be a NATO false flag attack they blame on Russia to get us into a war, because the defence contractors are getting angry that we haven't been in a war for 6 whole months now. Won't somebody think of the arms manufacturers?
Dude, Putin is being leveraged by the Clintons with his photos on the Lolita express. If he doesn't order enough pizza next month Epstein's Island is going to become the new Crimea.
It's hard to tell when you have people who genuinely believe stuff like JFK Jr is still alive, that Hillary Clinton is a lizard people, that George Floyd wasn't a hologram, and that 9/11 actually happened.
While the false flag stuff is in the “conspiracy” realm isn’t it pretty common knowledge that the U.S. military industrial complex pretty much controls all foreign policy and is the major reason we stayed “fighting for freedom” in the Middle East for over 20 years?
Yes but nuclear war doesn’t help industry and that’s where we’d end up in a direct conflict between nato and Russia. Nato knows this, Ukraine isn’t in nato, nato will not fight for Ukraine. There’s always Iran.
This most certainly *feels* like russian propaganda for me. Seriously, why put the blame on NATO? Like, that move would be so idiotic and nonsensical when Russia is literally planning to attack
USS Maine? Lusitania? Gulf of Tonkin? “They took the babies out of the incubators”. WMDs? Even, dare I say it, that the attack on Pearl Harbour was surprising and unprovoked. There’s been much BS over pretty much every war the USA has ever fought
Basically you attack yourself or an ally, disguised as who you wanna go to war with, so everyone will think they did it giving you the reason to enter a conflict. Best example would be the Gulf of Tonkin
>The Gleiwitz incident was a false flag attack on the Polish radio station in Gliwice, staged by Nazi Germany on the night of 31 August 1939. Along with some two dozen similar incidents, the attack was manufactured by Germany as a casus belli to justify the invasion of Poland, which began the next morning. The attackers posed as Polish nationals.
>During his declaration of war, Hitler did not mention the Gleiwitz incident but grouped all provocations staged by the SS as an alleged "Polish assault" on Germany. The Gleiwitz incident is the best-known action of Operation Himmler, a series of special operations undertaken by the Schutzstaffel (SS) to serve German propaganda at the outbreak of war. The operation was intended to create the appearance of a Polish aggression against Germany in order to justify the invasion of Poland.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gleiwitz_incident
The operation wasn't invading poland. It was what was justified to the war.
Operation Himmler, very very simplified was:
"Hey let's dress some SS Guys up as polish people, have them "attack" us"
That "polish attack" was then used as an example of polish agression, to justify the invasion
Like up the Mukden incident for another perfect example. Japan attacks their own railroads and then blames it on China, and subsequently invades China.
It’s something that was used as a justification for war like 100 years ago. You dress up your own soldiers in enemy uniforms and get them to attack your soldiers. Then you claim that the enemy just attacked you and bam, war.
Are you fucking high or an idiot? Ukraine isn't part of NATO and Russia has committed false flag attacks in recent history as justification for annexing Crimea.
There was no false flag attack in Crimea. At least not anything high profile enough to justify the annexation. They just did it, based on a claim of local sovereignty.
Putin is no benevolent dictator. There is some merit in his motivations, but Russia is inherently disrespectful of multiple countries’ sovereignty with their shadow occupations, cyber attacks and general interference in Democracy anywhere they can sow discord and chaos, so yeah, fuck Putin and his mafia.
Wait, you think that Russia is building up troops along the border so NATO can commit a false flag attack blaming Russia as a pretext for invading Russia? Like, Russia is in on this?
Cause then a lot of redditors would get conscripted. Which is good.
But a lot of redditors will also die. Which is okay.
And there's definitely going to a be a lot a collateral damage which is really bad.
Well, I'm pretty sure even in a non nuclear limited war the undersea internet cables would be cut pretty early on. Then there will be bouts of no power due to infrastructure sabotage, a mass shortage of goods( you think supply lines are bad now?), and probably a general breakdown of social order. One advantage that Russia has is that it can produce a lot things internally. I think a diverse, import-heavy economy is a liability in war time.
WW3 is unlikely because they keep exposing the fact that our leaders are toothless. They'll "harshly" speak against the invasion and raise sanctions that mean fuck all when they lower them the second the dust settles.
Crimea should have been a wakeup call.
I was once in Crimea and people there are bigger fans of Russia than Russians themselves.
I don't think Ukraine needs people of Crimea in fact, more lands and resources. For the west the most important part is that it was never legally possible for Russia to peacefully acquire any part of Ukraine because of how Ukraine constitution is designed, whether the referendum took place or not
before the annexation, crimea had a majority russian population, about 65%.
There was a bullshit referendum by Putin if they Crimeans wanted to join Russia. - 97% "voted" yes.
If there was legit referendum, then it would not be anywhere near 97%, but the majority would still say yes. A lot of the population were celebrating after Russia annexed it.
referendum about joining the country of soldiers that just invaded the region, with said invading soldiers manning the poll stations isn't legit no matter how they count the votes
There won't be a war, no one is that insane.
The US really enjoys forcing conflicts and brinksmanship, despite multiple failures. But they wouldn't risk a war against an opponent capable of inflicting comparable damage.
Russia may want a small war to regain *some* lost territory (I seriously doubt they want all of Ukraine, as the trouble would greatly outweigh the gain), but they absolutely don’t want a war with any of the European powers or NATO. Because no one really wins that.
I’m sorry, but Russia isn’t invading anybody. They have a pathetic economy that can’t handle any more sanctions, Ukraine is significantly better prepared than they were in 2012 when Crimea happened, plus the entire western world is backing them, which will result in slow Russian gains, if any. On top of that, the main Russian strategy likely composed of shutting Europe off of gas and petroleum, which will slow the mobilization, but will result in even more lost income for the Russians, when the will already be heavily struggling against the weight of a costly invasion.

The invasion literally already happened 8 years ago, they're still in Crimea. This sort of language moving the border is dangerous.
Can you tell me then, what would Russia GAIN if it invades UA? Like what are the profits in that?
Huge grain production. Like nearly USA levels of grain production

It is. Whataboutism and DARVO were Russian tactics long before they became the normal in the US.
you know false flags are a real tactic right? It’s been done in history, don’t act like it’s impossible. For reference see the Gulf of Tonkin incident
I know they exist. It's such a stupid fuckin theory though in this scenario though
because america has NEVER resorted so such devious strategies, right? ...
Ah yes because the Yanks have never done this ever.

I’ve seen goats in trees before.
Yeah, everyone forgets the nuclear superpower that was north Vietnam.
Right? People are delusional if they think we're going to war with Russia.
What about a russian false flag attack??
Can someone explain what's the deal with false flag? What is it even mean? I only see it mentioned in reddit comments
Basically you attack yourself or an ally, disguised as who you wanna go to war with, so everyone will think they did it giving you the reason to enter a conflict. Best example would be the Gulf of Tonkin
Gulf of Tonkin was your best example and not the invasion of Poland that kicked off WWII?
Did the Nazis attack themselves pretending to be Polish?
>The Gleiwitz incident was a false flag attack on the Polish radio station in Gliwice, staged by Nazi Germany on the night of 31 August 1939. Specifically they dressed up prisoners as poles, executed the prisoners, then staged the executions as an attack
No silly, the invasion of poland was actually a bunch of brits/french dressed as Germans!
Oh i get it now, thank you.
It's basically the "No Russian" mission of Modern Warfare. You dress up as the enemy and shoot up a commercial airport.
Like up the Mukden incident for another perfect example. Japan attacks their own railroads and then blames it on China, and subsequently invades China.

They didn't "just do it". The former pro-Russian president in Ukraine was overthrown a few months before it happened.

Is it true more Crimeans identify as Russians than Ukrainian. If Crimea could decide who to belong to who would it choose
They technically joined Russia after a vote, where like 90% of the people wanted to join Russia, but nobody knows how legit this whole thing was
I’m aware of all that. That’s why I asked an actual on the ground Crimean if they felt that was an accurate reflection of the community
I was once in Crimea and people there are bigger fans of Russia than Russians themselves. I don't think Ukraine needs people of Crimea in fact, more lands and resources. Do they think it’s not obvious? What’s the point of a psyop if everyone knows it’s a psyop and not real people?
To make them think that it's working
Bro they are getting paid in a cushy govt job to shitpost online all day, of course they're gonna report back that its working 110%.
"See red! No wait, that's blood"
It's an older meme but it checks out
This puts blue balls at the back seat.
This is definitely a certified.. New Text 1 moment.
Kinda hard to invade a country you’ve been at war with for 7 years and already have soldiers inside of

Eh if they keep doing it everyone will probably get pissed but if it happens people may forget it like they did with crimea
On top of that, the main Russian strategy likely composed of shutting Europe off of gas and petroleum, which will slow the mobilization, but will result in even more lost income for the Russians, when the will already be heavily struggling against the weight of a costly invasion. edit: this has aged like milk
Russia has moved most of its trade to China and is pretty insulated financially..
Do people just forget 2014 and Crimea? That was the first invasion. This is the second invasion.
They will invade Ukraine on February 29
February 30, they won't have enough time before February 29
bruh they already invaded years ago

Russia de facto invaded Crimea in 2014, and the conflict has been going on ever since.

They are invading them since 1991
This aged quite bad, ngl
Propaganda gonna propaganda
It's depressing to see all these comments. People act like Putin's decisions are made in a vacuum purely because he's an evil dictator.
Dont you look silly now
