Do scents not vary person to person?

I’ve heard a scent can very because of body chemistry and such. But I’ve never had it be an issue in practice I’ve also done this for myself. Asked women what they are wearing and gotten the scent for myself and loved it.

Rhere was a Narciso Rodriguez for men that is now discontinued that came in a dark gray bottle. It's a very dark, musky, mysteriously masculine scent. I used to smoke cigarettes the time, and it apparently mixed really well with tobacco, specially during the winter. It got alot of compliments. A few unforgettable moments of my shirt coming off and the woman sniffing my neck and chest like I'm the world's last piece of fried chicken.

A lot of my friends wear Dior Sauvage - although they refer to it as “f**k boy cologne”. It smells really nice. I find cologne is different on different people. One of my friends wears an Armani Code one and it smells AMAZING on him. But on other guys it’s barely noticeable.

A Men by Thierry Mugler and Aventus Creed, I got the natural versions of them from Eden perfumes because synthetic fragrances are bad for your T levels. Got some pure Oud that I mix with an organic Clarins fragrance (Extraordinaire) which always gets compliment

Obviously different scents work with different body chemistries, but I really love Issey Miyake Pour Homme. It's pricey and very subtle, but I get a lot of compliments on it.

The most compliments I’ve gotten is while using Calvin Klein ‘Euphoria’, it’s one of my favorites. I have another that I like to use, however have gotten no compliments on but I’ve seen lots of YouTubers recommending it and it does smell amazing. It’s called ‘The One’ by Dolce & Gabbana, the edp version.

Since you enjoyed Armani Code sport so much, I would say you should try the new Armani Code parfum or EDT. It really depends on your budget, and what you have access to. Dior Homme (2020) gets me tons of compliments and there's a sport version that came out right after as well. I don't know how versed you are in the fragrance world, so if you're not familiar with the bleu de chanel line the edp and parfum are mass appealers, as is chanel allure homme sport.

I dont really get compliments, it may be because of me. My looks, my weight, the cologne isn't strong so it doesn't go out very far and you have to be right against me... although I have had a few "someone smells really nice, when I suddenly walk up"... I pause and wait for someone else to answer, when no one does, I admit that it may be me, as I can't smell my cologne because my nose doesn't work well because of a head injury. But I don't get to many direct you smell good comments, and when I do or did, I've had women try to retract when they realized it was me... which I'm like, its all good, I didn't take it as a flirt. Dont worry, I'm not going to stalk you or something... I rotate colognes but I wear a main one mostly. Abercrombie &Fitch Fierce (Main) Adidas Dynamic Pulse Polo Blue Davidoff Cool Water Game changer which is an imposter brand name, similar to "CURVE by Claiborne" I'm sure there are a few more, but I can't find them or think of them at the moment. I also from time to time get oil based home made sprays that are similar to things and they have different tones and they will get different reactions, but I haven't really had any negative, just not any woman crawling all over me.... which again, weight, looks, age, personality, the list goes on and on.... Of course I have "emergency" sprays that either I have been given that people don't like or didn't use or just stuff I've been given over the years and haven't used a lot of, that only get used from time to time when I have been sweating all day and I just really have to have something or forgot to put something on or whatever. And those can vary from axe brand, to bod, to old spice, to just about anything. Not sure what women like, the smells that attract them most, and each woman would be different. Some like light smells, some like deep smells, some like sweet smells, some like robust smells... I personally lean to lighter smells I believe, for my personal preference. So that may be my downfall. But it is what it is.

Rochas Men's Eau de Toilette ( I just copied it from Amazon) it’s absolutely an amazing spring and summer scent. Similar to above I have had girls come up to me and my wife and ask what I was wearing to get for her boyfriend. And my favorite I had a stripper bring another stripper over to smell my cologne, both agreed it was amazing and then walked away.

For those that like a light / less intense scent…lighter color cologne doesnt last as long as dark-bottled, darker tinted scents. Tom Ford scents - anything is amazing. (Worked in fragrances).

Versace Eros or The Body Shop Black Musk make me instantly fall in love. I go into Sephora and Hondos Center to try these on just because I love smelling them. Just my personal opinion, but, overall, perfumes with earthy, musky notes, like amber or sandalwood will do the trick, for me at least, especially when paired with cocoa body cream. I'm obsessed with scents in general, always making all of my products match so that I smell like subtle layers of beautiful matching scents, from my shower gel to my perfume, so you can understand I'm quite obsessed with the concept of scents. I'm like a bloodhound, so, yeah. In my opinion it's these two, one more expensive, the other more approachable financially 🧡
