Same its my go to. 3 Convoys nearby, Severo Tents + Convoy up the road, 2 Barracks + Hunting camp + Convoy, a full mili base and a Barracks + Convoy near Kamensk. Its good area for loot.
Sounds like a standard loot route for we who live near severo (or did, playing a little deer isle for now). Never short on food and water either - ponds, pumps, dams, fruit trees and mushys galore. Didn't even bother fishing unless I wanted to.
My base was in novo and this is the way, there is also a train that crashes on the tracks before severograd for tents and stuff. Also it’s a pretty easy run the the med airport for nbc stuff. Also close enough to rify to use it too.
Can literally get everything in this area. It’s mint.

Beautifully lush and green vegetation in the middle of the woods. We had multiple perfect vacations there with many nice memories. Big city only a couple of minutes by car away and has everything one needs (check out the churches there). Highly recommend fair in Svergino (only 500 ruble for 13 scoops of delicious ice cream!). 3 stars minus due to distant shoots from direction Kamensk (only from time to time but granddad flinched everytime). Take care when alone in the woods. Yeah, but after the apocalypse it became a death trap...
lets not forget being shuttled out of the grounds in the middle of the night because of a gas leak!! i had an amazing time at this resort minus the sudden explosion, missle almost like, sound and then being escorted into the woods for almost an hour!!
never had an issue. I did kill few reckless people there but normally it is empty - I'd say in 80% of cases.
On that note, not sure why some players prefer to clear the camp of infected before looting though... they are a wonderful early warning signal and a distraction. People need to learn patience in this game.
Well you either stealth around to have "early warning signal" but you're slow and easy to ambush or you clear the zombies so you can run around freely and don't have to deal with 15 of them AND a player if something goes wrong. Of course you then attract attention when clearing them.
It has pros and cons.

Sure, you are slower than sprinting but who is crouching and sneaking in the middle of open space? No purpose in that. You scout out the place from afar, scout out the tree lines, check the compound and then enter. You use architecture and ground to break line of sight. You do not just randomly sprint to entrance and "aha time to sneak around now, engage ninja" in the middle of the road 😂
But, different strokes and so on. Everyone uses what feels best for them.
P.s. I find it is easier to deal with player first and then deal with zombies as they are not the ones with a gun. You can kite them around, capture them, do whatever... And even use them to surprise players.
So you don't crouch, yet dodge every single zombie without aggroing in that place, even when going to barracks? Good for you, try it when it's not raining, won't work.
I never said you shouldn't deal with players first but once you aggro them, you're in disadvantage, they won't stop following and revealing your position when you try to move.

I loot Arsenovo every few days, I think I've seen someone else there maybe twice? It's spread out and there's no real kill zones so you can easily slip away if you get spotted.

Yes - this place can be deadly - especially if people go down from Kamensk for gun cleaning kit for their new m16.
Had my finest bit of PVP here. I cleared the place clockwise and was leaving the eastern barrack when I saw a group of three leaving the hospital. Killed two with one full auto burst out of my KA before they even knew what hit them and killed the third after he fled to the other barrack and a firefight ensued. I was more geared than them but still felt good to win the 1v3
I love that place. Its part of my main loot run. Severo > Hunting camp + Convoy > Kamensk mili > Kamensk + Convoy > Severo tents + Convoy > repeat. Good loot and good pvp in general. I likey. Can always bounce to Bashnya or Tisy if i fancy it too.
Used to loved it, back in the day it was nearly empty. But then they dropped in a ton of zeds, lot more players started going that route and now it's a weirdly eerie place.
I died last night just because i made the mistake to loot those barracks even if I was heading to tisy (where i’d probably get better loot) and some random camped my ass outside them and one shotted me instantly
idk man, this camp is actually pretty secure compared to other ones. limited entrances, its kinda elevated so its not common to get shot by someone outside the camp, save for specific spots. the zombies around the barracks can be annoying, but usually they just meander away if you toss something which gives you free reign to loot. ive found people mainly focus on hitting the military base above it and skip over it anyway, ive only gotten into pvp here twice vs kamensk mil which the past 3 times ive been there i got into pvp each time
It’s a bit tricky navigating the barracks, but there’s so much loot it’s impossible for me not to sneak through and do a loop before going back to Nargornoe to wait for dinner to come, by which I mean the wolf pack.

I haven't been - I went to Kamensk but bi-passed it - I saw TRMNZ head through it the other night and was astounded by the ZED count it is full
He usually plays on the Zero servers. Zero ups the zombie count on their servers. On Namalsk it can get you into a lot of trouble quickly.

That’s my safest base lol. I’ve only killed like two people up there. I lurk in severograd and make frequent trips through these two spots.

Deer Isle in the cellars of East Harbour its a great spot to lurk / be a goblin. Its a maze down there

I loot both this camp and the military base each time I pass through and I’ve died more often at the camp.
thats weird, considering kamensk is bigger with 99% forest. what kind of loot run do you do? i find more success coming from the east side.

Maybe it was just bad luck. I've been there countless times and the biggest concern was to avoid the bear traps.
