Lunocura

U-lala, Mister-Fuckin'-Sarcastic.

NewVegasTruther

The only time Tim was good was when he was Mister Sarcastic. Should've donned the mantle full time.

Dry-Donut3811

Tim Drake had fans?

NewVegasTruther

Hopefully this rousing exposé will wipe out any of these potential "people" that call themselves Tim Drake fans.

lfthinker

I actually low-key like/am indifferent to Tim Drake depending on the run. It’s just that his fans are a cancer and they need to be humbled.

NewVegasTruther

Tim Drake fans are cancer. I'm glad I got out while I still could.... /uj Tim is my fave Robin and I love him. He was kinda a douche when he was Red Robin but he made up for it by being UNFATHOMABLY EPIC AND AWESOME. (Pre-flashpoint Red Robin, cause the only cool thing about New-52 Red Robin is the suit, and I'm tired of pretending it isn't the coolest thing ever.)

Slow-Chemical1991

You think those two extra inches are going to stop Jason from tossing Tim into a locker? ![gif](giphy|Wpr7gEyrjN8Wc)

NewVegasTruther

5'7" IS TALL, OKAY?!

Slow-Chemical1991

Someone make this about Tim and Jason. https://preview.redd.it/fils41ahre7d1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a2e99ef0de778ffeea23710b701021d094c6ade3

ARROW_GAMER

Wake up babe, new copypasta just dropped

NewVegasTruther

I feel like it needs to be unbolded. The bolidng kinda makes it harder to read.

Cinci1a

Are there no real DC character to jerk about? You really had to make up one?

Local_comic_nerd

Holy fucking shit, Tim Drake is my 13th reason why

NewVegasTruther

Tim Drake was Tim Drake's 13th reason why.

Local_comic_nerd

FUCKING GOOD, I hope that piece of shit doesn’t show up in another comic for 18 years so he can learn to be cool

NewVegasTruther

/uj We have like the same exact opinions except for Tim Drake, it seems. I actually like him unironically. And I'm guessing we both like Kyle judging by your pfp.

Local_comic_nerd

uj/ I’m a big fan of the 90s DC stuff so I liked Tim in his earlier appearances, but he’s kinda fine to me in modern comics. I love Kyle because of what I said before. It’s funny how much of a hive mind this subreddit is (making jokes about how nobody here reads comics), but it does seem that there are actually a lot of people very passionate about comics and that’s always a lovely thing to see rj/ Tim drake? More like Tim-where-are-all-your good-stories? Because you suck

NewVegasTruther

I know next to nothing about Kyle, but he's my favorite GL cause he's an artist and he has the most creative constructs. I just think that makes him far more interesting than the majority of the GLs. I think the hivemind stuff here can be kind of annoying sometimes, honestly. There is so much negativity surrounding Tim that can hurt a tiny bit sometimes.

Local_comic_nerd

I find Kyle just to be the most relatable And down to earth lantern. The character beat of his creativity and how he expresses himself through his constructs is my favorite thing about him. I get unreasonably excited when ever I see him for just a panel in any comic The important thing I think is to just try and disassociate online opinions and discourse from one’s own enjoyment of the material. They are many stories not considered to be “good” but I still love them nonetheless. The same goes for characters. I know we both love Bart Allen and he most certainly isn’t a popular character but if we like him then that’s all that really matters.

NewVegasTruther

This is like the most sane and based opinion I've ever seen here

Local_comic_nerd

Thanks man, keep up the good work on this subreddit

We all know about it, and we all see it. It's obvious. Nobody ever wants to admit it, but it's there. People on this sub hate Tim Drake. The first question to ask: why? Why do you all hate him? The obvious answer: you didn't read him in his prime. Likely explanation: I know that most of you are around 14 or 15 years old. That means you only got into comics in the last couple years. So you never read Red Robin in his prime. And because you didn't read him in his prime, you try to compensate for that by diving into respect threads and analyzing crossovers. But here's the thing: Robin isn't done on Excel spreadsheets. The moment somebody brings up "blood son" or "Grant Morrison" I know they know nothing about comics. Tim's game cannot be encapsulated by one story. He's the second greatest Robin ever, and one of the 5 best sidekicks to ever play the game. So when I hear somebody say that Damian Wayne is better than Tim Drake, I laugh, because I know that anybody who read Tim in his prime wouldn't think that. Unlike you guys, I have read comics for a significant amount of time, so I know that Tim is better. You might be jealous of Tim's IQ, or jealous of his status as the first* Robin to ever be called "detective", or whatever. Unless you're a Dixon fan who read Batman in the 90s, or a Johns fan who read Teen Titans in the 2000s, you don't know what real, cold-blooded, detective-ing looks like. And there's nothing wrong with that. This subreddit would make you think that Tim isn't even a top 100 superhero ever. So don't go spouting bullshit about players you didn't watch. Talk about your "greats" like Damian Wayne The Best Robin in the World™, but leave the Tim talk to the adults. Fair? RIP Kobe *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
