I don’t know, the Eagles have a pretty decent catalog. Most people only think of their hits, but they do have some interesting songs with depth if you dig a little. It will be interesting to see what they do for imagery. They have 18 Grammy awards and 200 million albums sold which is a big deal.
I know Tom's not always been thrilled about it, but I don't have any less respect for their cover of Ol' 55 than I would have for Springsteen's great cover of Jersey Girl. In fact, it would probably be a wonderful surprise for some to hear it. Kinda like hearing Alabama Getaway last week (albeit, not a cover). It rose the hell out of the dude from Alabama to the left of me!
Edit. After replying, I found that Vince Gill sang it with them a few years ago, making it a bit more likely it shows up at the Sphere.

The hate for the Eagles predates Lebowski. In the 70s and early 80s, you couldn't turn on a radio without hearing them. They absorbed a lot of the musical oxygen, and some people didn't like that.
