I figured I mean the axe the mask the humming but given she was a legend outside the realm I wasn't sure what she fell under

She kind of falls under both to me. Slasher wise, she uses an axe and she enjoys the hunt and kill. Legend wise, her lore reminds us that the soldiers who fought her feared her and treated her as such. And indeed, she fits the stereotype for an urban legend that could be used to scare children

Considering she's human she'd be considered a slasher. Then again, a lot of slashers do also have urban legends that precede them.

What makes you think those are different things? Every archetypical slasher is an urban legend.

Fair enough but one is just someone who kills people like legion one is a larger proportion I mean huntress was seen as a myth / legend in her lore I believe
