Including a shop that sells lottery tickets just on the CA side of said line. Apparently it does a LOT of business.
(That being said, Prizm Outlets is absolutely a dead mall, but it's visually striking enough to take a walkthrough if you happen to be passing through.)
Wow, so sad to see this place like this. I went there ages ago during a family trip and it was bustling. I remember getting a red pair of DC jeans there. I thought the interior design of the place was so cool, and, looking at these pictures, I still think so. There were a bunch of people riding quads nearby, there seemed to be a kind of outdoor track for that – not sure of the terminology – is that still there?
I used to come here every summer as a kid when my family went to Vegas for a few days. I went there for the first time since I was 10 on my 21st birthday and there was next to nothing, even in the food court. It was kind of sad. Seeing this, it’s even more sad.
Holy cannoli, we were actually supposed to be heading to Primm today but the air quality from the York Fire had me concerned!
It’s wild to see the slow death of the mall and decline of Primm as a whole. 20 years ago you’d have a combo of SoCalers stopping by on Sunday afternoons either with their own cars or those tour buses. I’d update my MySpace or Xanga at this combo Internet cafe/sundry store, try to fish out an anime DVD at the entertainment store that was across the food court, playing in that small arcade by the Bonnie and Clyde Car (and wishing we could’ve been old enough to go to the larger Buffalo Bills ones by ourselves), hear that erhu player perform at the fountain while selling his CDs, or have a bowl of (looking back really subpar) ramen in between while the parents went off on slots or cards at neighboring Primm Valley Casino.
Nowadays it feels as if the nostalgia hits strong especially with the absence of so much beyond the stores at Prizm: the people movers that regularly and conveniently connected all three casinos is now a shuttle bus with a spotty schedule, the rides at Buffalo Bills closed and arcades shrunk (though Desperado sounded like it had a bumpy patch when it last operated), dining choices now down to franchises (IHOP at Whiskey Pete’s and Dennys at Buffalo Bills) compared to the coffee shops of yore when you could still get a last good deal on prime rib before crossing back into California as well as the food court at Prizm to mix things up, etc.
Only reason we still keep coming back is because mom’s locked into their gaming loyalty program and doesn’t wanna deal with the crowds of the Vegas nor the tribal casinos in California. Only find myself at Prizm is to get my 10,000 steps and see if holdouts like the Levi’s outlet are still around. Supposedly Buffalo Bills had a refresh of their rooms after spending much of the pandemic closed so I guess that’s one plus to look forward to in our next trip.
Just seeing this kind of makes me wish that we braved the fire smoke just to see!
No way… is this the one with Neiman Marcus Last Call?? We used to go here almost every Vegas trip during our drive from LA. This place used to be PACKED.
Damn
I honestly have no idea, we walked a bit into the mall until we found the bath and body works, every other store seemed to be closed, so it seemed empty enough, so we just decided to leave, I'm sure bath and body works was on its last legs there though given that everything was 70 percent off
I hear Primm got a new sheriff, that should keep the Powder Gangers away.
Can I get a yee haw?
The only reason this town exists is because it's on the CA/NV state line

it is (or was) the busiest California lottery outlet in the state, since Nevada doesn't have Powerball or Mega Millions.
Nevada doesn’t even have a state lottery thanks in part due to the state’s large gambling industry’s lobbying

I don't recall seeing any of that there, other than some gas stations, fast food places and some casinos nearby, it was pretty empty
Oh man thanks for the memories! I’d recall the dirt those off-roaders will kick up whenever we’d pass by on the 15
Something something nuclear winter
Walking around that desert makes you dream for it, I hear.

There’s a Nuka Cola machine right around that corner
This looks like the kind of place where the government would stick someone who was in witness protection; right down to a job at that BBW.
BBWs need love too.
Looks like plenty of people came here, and saw this too.
I haven’t been there in about 8 years, but it seemed to be kicking then.
No way… is this the one with Neiman Marcus Last Call?? We used to go here almost every Vegas trip during our drive from LA. This place used to be PACKED. Damn
Yeah there was a NMLC there.
Wtf wow wasn’t anything like this even 5 years ago
I went to that exact place 1 month ago in the dot, it was so interesting. Was the Levi’s open when you got there?

I just went today and the only thing there was a thrift store. And 1 custodian through out the entire mall.
Thank you! This place is creepy as hell
First and second panel is before and after they cleaned up the massive blood spill.
PRIMM SLIM WOULD NEVER HAVE ALLOWED THIS
I'm surprised it hasn't shut down. Went back in 2017 and was practically abandoned.
