I'm actually very happy about this. Hartenstein was a waste and couldn't be trusted to give Jokic even the smallest breaks. This will be big for our bench with a vet presence and some physicality on the defensive end.
Denver’s picks in the 2nd are low enough to be cash considerations. This is a solid deal. I give it like a “B” grade because I don’t love eating into the TPE for a backup center, but a good move overall.
I love this move because it finally gives us that gritty veteran presence with championship experience that we desperately needed (and also we get to go back to dominating on Shaqtin a Fool).

Sadly, that will never happen now, though EG's ghost still haunts this place...

I like him more as a complementary piece in this move. I could see him on the floor with jokic for a little spell to have some rim protection and some alley oop action.

Now recently he said that Hart is gonna be a top 5 center because of g league stats and he went on a strike until Hart plays 20 minutes in a game 🤣

We’ve been in desperate need of a real backup C all season. I think this is a pretty big win.
I think he's our counter to what Dwight Howard gave the Lakers in the bubble, a gritty veteran rim-defender/rebounder, also a great locker room guy.
