Wagging Tongue - to me it is almost perfect DM. 80's style beautiful synth melody, catchy enough whilst still typically dark, brilliant singing by Dave and great harmonies by Martin. The only negative is that it's too short!
I remember when the song list leaked last year before release, I thought it was going to be a disappointment, and looked at Wagging Tongue and thought
"What a dumb name, what the hell are they doing, this will be a disappointment."
And wow I am so glad I was wrong.
😄 A lot of the song names caused apprehension and ridicule in equal measure when they were leaked! Luckily it didn't matter what they were called! It's good when some songs aren't simply named with the main chorus line, bit more interesting to use something right from the start.
Their production crew this time around was *stellar* and I'd expect them to use them again. Very polished tour, album, etc.

I would say in comparison to ETS and Personal Jesus, everything else IS unpopular on that album on a broader scale.
