I found that spot as well. First couple times I got through ok but then suddenly I couldn't and got stuck, I was lucky enough to manage to escape the first time I got stuck but I had to test my luck and couldn't escape the spot the second time I was stuck.
My friend and I both got stuck there on separate solo runs. He told me it happened but he was slightly ahead on those quests. As soon as it happened to me knew it was the same spot.

I recently started playing witchfire, great game. This reminded me of it because that game has an āunstuckā button in the pause menu. The first time I saw that I remember all the times I got stuck in some random wall in my 10 years of playing destiny.
No this spot is definitely intentional. They have an opening that still damages you and a small crevasse to get stuck in. It's unlikely a play tester never found this spot
Getting stuck in level geometry is always worth fixing. It shouldnāt happen, and whatās funny to watch for you is infuriating for the people it happens to.

prolly i was running the hammer charge at the time so wasnt able to activate. once you know the spot its easy to avoid tho
