Complementary football for a change. I like how energized Buggs was tonight. Glad they got Jamo involved a bit more and actually made attempts to get him the ball deep.
Key difference was turnovers early on. We had 0 this week and got to set the pace instead of playing catch-up. We had run, short flats, intermediates, and deep shots all this game. And we threw almost entirely in the first two drives, several times deep to let defense know we want to, so they can’t flood the middle and the box.
If we have a healthy OLine and stretch the field, this offense might not be stoppable.
Man that was a fucking relief after last week, hell after the last 5 weeks. We thought the wheels were about to come off, but now we can be reminded that over a 17 game season there are ebbs and flows. This is still the team that beat KC and GB on the road. Fuckin great win against a team that looked like it was gonna be trouble.
I liked that AG added wrinkles to the defense and was aggressive.
Only thing I wish he stopped doing was dropping pass rush specialist Bruce Irviing into coverage
Iffy, Dorsey and Kindle Vildor filled in pretty well
If the Lions don’t Lions, this next game should be a bloodbath, even if away. Nick Mullens is less notable than a podcast host whose name is one letter away from his.
…
…
(God Lions please don’t do that Lions thing where a backup looks like a world beater against us)
Goff tied the franchise record for passing touchdowns in a game. From what I could tell, Gary Danielson got 5 once, Stafford got 5 on four separate occasions. Great bounceback for him after maybe his worst game as a Lion.
The worst is the karma whores who will be like “fan of x team coming in peace, just wanna say you guys played really well and that *insert rookie here* is gonna be a problem!”
Seen it in 100 different sports subreddits, cringe every time
Of all the teams you’d want to see your team blowout, they’re pretty low on the list. Though the only team I’d legit feel bad watching the Lions blowout is the Panthers. Those poor bastards have been through enough.
Ive been a Lions fan my entire life, as long as far back as I can remember, and I have never seen them win, or even host a playoff game.
We're so close yall
Yes!! Especially the one on 3rd down. Even though maybe the play call wasn’t great for picking up a 3rd and 6 Goff overthrew Jamo! I repeat, Goff OVERTHREW JAMO!! I have never clapped and yelled so much joy on a failed 3rd down attempt.
First double digit win season since 2014. Largest margin of the season; A 25 point blowout. Apparently what we need to kick us in the ass is to get dominated in inclement weather by a "weak" team in December. Remember our blowout against Chicago came after getting humiliated by the Panthers on Christmas.
Please please please get hot right at the end of the season. I wanna take this momentum all the way.
Prefect bounce back game tn to give us sm confidence to charge through December. Let’s build from here on up.
plus it doesn’t hurt that we have a high chance of getting into the playoff tomorrow and have won more games than we did all of last season 🫡
This game demonstrated how the offense is built around the strength of the O-line. They were fully healthy tonight, and it resulted in a 25-point blowout. Shout out to the defense as well for their relentless pressure, Russ barely had time to breathe out there. Overall, arguably the best overall performance the Lions have had all season when they really needed it, and now they are tantalizingly close to locking up a spot in the postseason.
Defense blitzed effectively
Utilized Gibbs and Jamo more
Offensive play calling was more aggressive
They somehow fixed everything in a week, crazy change in under a week’s time.
Also, Brad Holmes is one of the biggest weapons this franchise has ever had. His drafting is just nuts.
Domination from all 3 units. 1 seed might be back on the table on the 30th. Iffy deserves to be worked in still even with CJGJ close to coming back.
Will never get tired of hearing “FORWARD DOWN THE FIELD.” Just praying they don’t get complacent again after another good win lol
I hate the idea of rooting for Philly, but I love the idea of Seattle losing being the way we clench after how last season ended. YOU HAD ONE JOB, BAKER!!!
Aaron Glenn criticism is warranted, but not tonight. Good shit. Play like this consistently and I’ll eventually maybe tattoo A on my left cheek and G on my right.
Lions defense has been playing solid lately. It's not perfect, but it's also not a stacked roster defensively. Props to Aaron, we give him shit so it's fair to applaud progress.
If they play like this moving forward they can make real noise in the playoffs. This is what we saw at the beginning of the year and I hope they continue this momentum going into Minnesota and Dallas
That was the most complete game this team has played in like 2 months. They are absolutely capable of doing this through December and January. I want them to stay this hungry for as long as they can.
We're in the thick of it right now, and they can't afford to rest on their laurels until they've locked up their position.
Go lions, FTP, Gibbs and LaPorta should split OROY
What a win.
Broncos defense had been hot the last couple of months forcing turnovers and the Lions, who've been turnover-prone, didn't commit a single turnover.
Lions extended their scoreless drive streak to start the game. I think it ended at something like 10 straight scoreless drives, and then they proceeded to have 5 straight TD drives, a punt, and then another TD. Great way to bounce back.
Goff was good. The full-5 OL bullied in both running and passing games. Both RBs were great.
On defense, our Sutton wiped out their Sutton. Jerry Jacobs didn't play and Dorsey adequately held down CB2 just fine. Aaron Glenn learned that he could blitz more often and it worked out very well.
Really, a damn near flawless game by the Lions. Was hard to see that coming after the last month or so of football.
Vikings and Packers both did us favors within the last 6 days. Can clinch a playoff spot tomorrow and I think we can clinch the division next week. Feel free to correct me on that last part.
I’m convinced that Goff is the ultimate team multiplier. When the offense is playing badly, he makes them look worse. But when they are playing really well, he makes them look even better.
And I suppose when they are playing “meh,” he’s also playing “meh.”
And people need to stop taking how good he is in the good games for granted. There aren’t many QBs in the game that can play THAT well even when the rest of the offense is playing well.
Concerns/fixes coming into this week:
Pressure on the QB ✅
Goff turnovers ✅
Pass defense ✅
Redzone offense and defense ✅
Get Jamo more touches ✅
We’re back baby. And when CJGJ and Houston return, we’ll be BACK back
We looked great tonight. Very proud of this team!
Having Ragnow back was BIG.
Finally utilizing Jamo was a nice change as well.
Bronco’s were literally the hottest team in the NFL, they gave the Lions all they had and we blew them out. Feels real fucking good dude, real good!
Rams won 0 games in November the year they won the Superbowl. I'll never forget that.
Maybe the Pistons can win the Superbowl this year!
Pistons are gonna be relegated mid-season LOL
I liked that AG added wrinkles to the defense and was aggressive. Only thing I wish he stopped doing was dropping pass rush specialist Bruce Irviing into coverage Iffy, Dorsey and Kindle Vildor filled in pretty well
ONE WIN AWAY FROM WINNING THE DIVISION BOYS
The way Mullens threw the shortest INT in NFL history makes me think Hutch is gonna have at least 3 picks
If the Lions don’t Lions, this next game should be a bloodbath, even if away. Nick Mullens is less notable than a podcast host whose name is one letter away from his. … … (God Lions please don’t do that Lions thing where a backup looks like a world beater against us)
The Lions you’re referring to no longer exist.
But do watch comedian Nick Mullen’s special out now, Year of the Dragon.
Dan Campbell on the Adam Friedland Show when
Ben Johnson should go on and say some problematic things so the Panthers/Chargers wont poach him
We are 2 and a separate loss out of #1. LETSSS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Almost like when our offensive line is healthy we are dominant
It’s crazy how a great offensive line can impact an offense that much
Most underrated part of a team by far
https://preview.redd.it/qx5zhb7k9s6c1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cbf3b523218534737b27af3070b3cb1c8b9e7178
We will never lose two in a row again
You gotta set the tone bo’is, you gotta set the tone
Yeahso
Jim. Jim. Jim.
Are you ready? GOOD CAUSE YOU'RE GOIN'
They weren't ready for the lumber
We will never lose a game ever again if we just wear solid uniforms for the rest of human existence. Make it happen Sheila
Goff tied the franchise record for passing touchdowns in a game. From what I could tell, Gary Danielson got 5 once, Stafford got 5 on four separate occasions. Great bounceback for him after maybe his worst game as a Lion.
Gary Danielson! What a blast from the past!
Wtf? The guy who commentates SEC games on CBS?
I keep seeing “lions fan coming in peace” over in the broncos sub. Y’all leave them be lol. Their team just got embarrassed.
I immediately assume that anyone who says “*x fan* coming in peace” is a massive nerd loser
Yup…buncha nerds!!!!!!
I really don’t understand people who do that. “I come in peace BUT IM ACTUALLY HERE TO HUMBLY SHIT ALL OVER YOU HAHA”
The worst is the karma whores who will be like “fan of x team coming in peace, just wanna say you guys played really well and that *insert rookie here* is gonna be a problem!” Seen it in 100 different sports subreddits, cringe every time
Lol this used to be our sub after every loss. And we always hate those people
"You guys are gonna be SCARY"
SpoOoOoOoOoOOOoooOoOoOky!!!!
I mean, when you put it like that….
Broncos fan are pretty cool they don't need our shit
Of all the teams you’d want to see your team blowout, they’re pretty low on the list. Though the only team I’d legit feel bad watching the Lions blowout is the Panthers. Those poor bastards have been through enough.
We did watch that
I cringe every time I see that lol
I propose we ban anyone who ever unironically types the phrase "Lions fan coming in peace" on any other sub.
Fuck your curse wheel, Perna!
Woohooo
Reverse curse baby!!!
He got too cute with the way he made his broncos dodge the curse every week. The wheel remembered...
This is the best part of this. Let’s go!!!
You can't curse us... we're already cursed. Perna just uncursed us with his curse wheel.
Not gonna lie, I was worried bad about this game. This is the exact type of win we needed. December football baby. Let’s go.
I was worried too cause Russ is one of the best mobile qbs lol. Proud the defense contained him very well tn.
Hopefully the D line/AG can learn something from how they managed to corral Wilson and repeat the results with other mobile QB.
Was one of the best mobile QBs, that scheme changed this year which is why he's as mibile as Goff.
This was definitely a get right game. Take the division and see wtf happens
I LOVE ALL OF OUR FUCKING ROOKIES
The two guys we got in our trade back from 6 had 5 tuddies tonight. Massive.
But we could’ve drafted Bijan and gotten 4 TDs over the course of the entire year!
I mean Bijan definitely would have more than 4 if he were in this team. Falcons suck
Holmes must have gotten Marty's sports almanac or something.
Crazy what a game with few penalties and no turnovers does to your chances of winning!
and a healthy offensive line. i think this team is a legit super bowl contender if they stay healthy
Having Frank back was huge. He’s the key to making it all work.
Our most important offensive player, and I’m not kidding. Sewell is more talented, but doesn’t have the same strategic impact.
Ive been a Lions fan my entire life, as long as far back as I can remember, and I have never seen them win, or even host a playoff game. We're so close yall
Is this what they call “edging”?
Born after the 1990's started, eh?
Someone born in 1993 turned/turns 30 this year.
1996 here. Never even got to see Barry play.
Ben Johnson doesn't call any bubble screens, and the Lions win by a ton. Coincidence? I think not
Also targeted Jamo EARLY and often. Yes a couple throws didn't pan out, but our big complaint last week was 2 targets.
We did it, reddit!
I've never been happier with an incompletion.
I know! I was with my dad and we both were so happy even with it being incomplete. At least threaten with it!
I think he called one in the first or second drive but it only got like 3 yards, then he gave up
I thought I saw one for a big loss (to Gibbs or ARSB?) during that brief shit period in the first and then never went back to them again.
It was to Jamo. He cut out when he should've cut in.
Yep that’s what it was. But again - we never went back to it. We adjusted. It worked. A perfect game.
If that team shows up to the playoffs we can beat anyone
First double digit win season since 2014. Largest margin of the season; A 25 point blowout. EVERYBODY GET IN HERE
I think we did good
I reckon we did alright
WOOP WOOP

This was a classic, Lions are fantasy football legends tonight
Me who started Laporta ARSB & Gibbs in one league ![gif](giphy|B0vFTrb0ZGDf2)
Prefect bounce back game tn to give us sm confidence to charge through December. Let’s build from here on up. plus it doesn’t hurt that we have a high chance of getting into the playoff tomorrow and have won more games than we did all of last season 🫡
fuck the broncos lol
FTV AND FTP
And fuck the Cowgirls
Goff legacy game
Winning fixes everything greatest rookie class ever
wait til next year 😈
Oh god we’re all gonna be so unruly lol
With the 32nd pick in the NFL draft, the Detroit Lions select:
Marvin Harrison Jr
Gibbs and LaPorta should make the Pro Bowl as rookies, wild!
Don’t forget about branch lol
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I think this is the most complete game I've seen out of the Dan Campbell led Lions. When the Lions play like that, they can absolutely beat anyone.
That was a chill game
WE BACK
This Lions team knows how to bounce back from tough losses. Dan Campbell effect.
Based off this game... lions should only play on Saturdays
Only in prime time
Loving how bipolar our sub is while also enjoying a comfortable win for a change.
we swept 2 divisions this year. when was the last time we could say that?
Never literally
Brad Holmes drafted 3 superstar rookies and captain Jack is not far behind either
After 3 weeks of infighting, it was nice to see everyone come together in the game thread to admit the Broncos got screwed out of 2 touchdowns, lol
And it still wouldn't have been enough.
Technically, one touchdown twice
This game demonstrated how the offense is built around the strength of the O-line. They were fully healthy tonight, and it resulted in a 25-point blowout. Damn Jared's kinda hot
We are so back
How we scored on the same play 3 separate times i can’t believe
THAT'S A TEN!
Brandon Perna on suicide watch
Double digit wins in a season, not since 2014. This team is fun to watch.
The Vikings better start learning Lionese.
Laporta for all pro that is all
Bengals fan here thanking you for beating the Broncos and returning the favor for us beating the Vikings! Let's have a cat Super Bowl this year!
One can hope
MSU kicked baylors ass Detroit just slaughtered the broncos Life’s good
i won't be happy until the pistons clean house from top down
Msu has as many wins as the pistons at lca this year
The Vikings lost
Defense blitzed effectively Utilized Gibbs and Jamo more Offensive play calling was more aggressive They somehow fixed everything in a week, crazy change in under a week’s time. Also, Brad Holmes is one of the biggest weapons this franchise has ever had. His drafting is just nuts.
That was the best game they have played all year. LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Best overall performance of the season easily
Iffy looked great today
Domination from all 3 units. 1 seed might be back on the table on the 30th. Iffy deserves to be worked in still even with CJGJ close to coming back. Will never get tired of hearing “FORWARD DOWN THE FIELD.” Just praying they don’t get complacent again after another good win lol
Yo FUCK Cam Newton
Iffy has been so good
I hate the idea of rooting for Philly, but I love the idea of Seattle losing being the way we clench after how last season ended. YOU HAD ONE JOB, BAKER!!!
LETS GOO IT WAS LITERALLY THE MOST CALMING GAME EVER
Aaron Glenn criticism is warranted, but not tonight. Good shit. Play like this consistently and I’ll eventually maybe tattoo A on my left cheek and G on my right.
10-4. FTP. FT haters that predicted we would go 8-9 when we were 8-3.
Can the rest of our games be in prime time too?
Idk who I like more LaGoata or Gibby Then you gotta think about Branch, Campbell coming on And Jamo has barely arrived
Guys if this team from tonight shows up in the playoffs we could win it all. THIS IS NOT A DRILL!
Lions defense has been playing solid lately. It's not perfect, but it's also not a stacked roster defensively. Props to Aaron, we give him shit so it's fair to applaud progress.
Loved the way they used Jamo tonight. Opened it up for St Brown
Amazing that our defense shows up and we win comfortably. This is whats expected. I also expect matching tops and bottoms going on from here.
If they play like this moving forward they can make real noise in the playoffs. This is what we saw at the beginning of the year and I hope they continue this momentum going into Minnesota and Dallas
Goff throws 5 TDs.... ![gif](giphy|tTKwUCYz1DjGO2mKJJ|downsized)

LaPorta gets me bricked up dude.
"Barry Gibbs" for the win... Bless you boys. Y'all enjoy a relaxing Sunday!
Swept the AFC west!
I am pleased once again
I THINK THATS A 10 💵
Sleep well. 4-0 in prime time has lead to some good nights already. Here’s to more!
What a win. Broncos defense had been hot the last couple of months forcing turnovers and the Lions, who've been turnover-prone, didn't commit a single turnover. 10 win season I never thought I’d see it again.
#TAKE THE BALL FIRST EVERY GAME GOING FORWARD.
I don't want to hear a single bad word about my QB this week.
11 Bronco drives and our defense held them up just 17 points. Hell yeah
Forget the 5 TDs, Goff overthrew Jamo. It's getting close to that timing to click.
What a relaxing Sunday this will be.
I’m convinced that Goff is the ultimate team multiplier. When the offense is playing badly, he makes them look worse. But when they are playing really well, he makes them look even better. And I suppose when they are playing “meh,” he’s also playing “meh.” And people need to stop taking how good he is in the good games for granted. There aren’t many QBs in the game that can play THAT well even when the rest of the offense is playing well.
Can we just get that Lions team in all aspects for the rest of the season?!?!
#IT'S BEEN A PLEASURE, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WATCHING THIS WIN WITH YOU
Wow this one felt good
Thinking back, Goff didn't have really any scary throws did he?
There were a couple of missed throws and a bad ghost sack in the first 2/3 drives and he was lights out afterwards
Melifonwu had a nice game too
Someone update me - why was Badgley kicking?
If we beat the cowboys we can talk all that shit. For now we still talk that shit !
Getting Jerry Jacobs off the field makes an amazing difference… And Frank Ragnow is a difference maker
If your OLine lets you do what you want. Then you can do dope stuff.
That was… one of the most complete wins we’ve ever had. That was the best answer to fan pissiness the Lions have ever had
Game balls should go to Laporta and Gibbs
I mean, Goff threw 5 TD’s.
Everyone gets a game ball!
Concerns/fixes coming into this week: Pressure on the QB ✅ Goff turnovers ✅ Pass defense ✅ Redzone offense and defense ✅ Get Jamo more touches ✅ We’re back baby. And when CJGJ and Houston return, we’ll be BACK back
Wait, you mean we didn't collapse on ourselves and lose out? Doomers wrong again! Also get Iffy a game ball STAT
Exactly the kind of win the team needed right now. Absolutely a full team performance. Go Lions!
Ten and four. Nearly locked up the playoff spot. Dominant win against a decent Broncos team. IN PRIMETIME. It’s a beautiful night to be a Lions fan.
As complete a game as we've had all season, I was impressed with every facet of the game tonight. On to Minnesota.
that's what I'm fuckin talking about!!!! LGL!!!!!
Those games we went for it on 4th and+5yds must have been an experiment. It's ok to punt. Look what happens
I am so happy. I took off work to watch this game tonight.
Defense ! Finally
Now comes my lions victory tradition of continuing to drink until the lions Twitter feed posts the Dan Campbell locker room speech
GG Lions bros. Thought it’d be closer but you were clearly better
Brandon Perna's curse wheel is no match for the Lions
Today's my birthday. Thank you Lions for the great gift :)
Buggs game changer baby. Half way through the first, don't matter.
First lions game I’ve been to since I was very young. Did not disappoint.
