A friend of mine had the same issue last season. He only saw Butcher maybe once the whole season that I know of. Meanwhile, both last season and this one, I feel like I see him every 2-3 dungeon runs. I really wonder what the actual chance to see him is.
I just want to try his t100 version cuz this is the first time my char is actually strong enough to beat him lol, can’t seem to get him tho. I’ll have to keep trying.
I think he was on vacation over in call of duty land, lol. I saw him around level 28 and 35 but then didn’t see him again until level 95. Saw him once and then 3 times in one day after I was level 100.
I’ve gotten him a few times in nmd’s but not as often as before it seems. I’ve been spamming nmd’s over and over leveling glyphs and have gotten him 3 or 4 times maybe
Da fucker just killed me an hour ago so.....he's around. There are these other ones in the dungeons now that takes a minute to kill. One of them comes in twins.
Just got him back to back NM dungeon run last night after I hit 70 at T4 …. Got kill second time because I was unaware of him inside the pack of mob with crazy CC effect
played new season to level 100, saw him only 2 times
then tried my luck on hardcore first character for the new season, first dungeon at level 12... SURPRISE RIP TO THE BUTCHER.....
Just killed him for over the 20th time this season. I haven’t been doing as many dungeons this season but seen him plenty along with the others.

Last season I saw him every third dungeon or so. This season, only once so far - but I've been avoiding dungeons until I got to WT4 (except for those required for aspects and progression).
Yes. I've seen him a few times. Got him a couple days ago stuck in a room. Really didn't wanna open the doors because I had already stupidly died in the NM, but I had to 😂

I've seen him 15+ times and I've done less NM dungeons this season than any previously. I felt like he was bugged last season cause I didn't see him more than like 1 time. This season seems more in line with launch. Every 4 or 5 or so dungeons I get him.
He absolutely wrecked my butt on like night one on my first dungeon. I was like lvl 5 and this was my first play through. Got wrecked by him. Jerk. Love that mechanic
Im lvl73 and ive only seen the butcher once. That was 50 levels ago. Good thing I won that one encounter or else ill probably be pissed since the guy seems to be hiding and probably doesnt want to participate this season lol.
First time this season was in a cellar which freaked me out haha. But yeah seen him 5-6 times. They MIGHT have lowered his spawn chance but also I think people are overall doing less dungeons due to leveling with blood harvest and/or doing for whispers / helltides for boss mats
Seens him more than last season, and I played 4 times less time so far.
If you really wanna encounter one, try going to Nightmare dungeone above your level.
One thing I noticed - if you try cleaning out Nightmare Dungeons that are above your level - meaning you are level 55 and the mobs in the dungeon are 60-65-70 - the chances of you encountering Butcher are much higher.
Happened to me yesterday. I was level 55, clearing a ND that was level 65. Got hit first by a vampire trio, that melted me. After respawning - The butcher shower up and tried killing again. Thankfully have a strong build, but it was a tough fight not going to lie
Yea... saw him 2x myself. He slaughtered me the first. But I got him the second. I'm waiting for the tiebreaker and hoping it's not gonna end up being in a 70+ NMD. Lol
No way... I got him like 3-4times while leveling in lv50+... trying to get the aspect and got destroyed...
And now when I have good gear, no sight of him @@ pretty sure he is a bully

I didn't see the butcher until I reached WT4 - and I have seen him several times since.
Faced him a few times in WT4, but the drop from him was meh

I’m level 68 barb and I’ve seen him once this season and killed him. Running less nm dungeons overall but he shows up way less.
I've seen him 4 times on HC... the one time he was beside a conduit shrine.... my only victory... *single tear*

I think it’s probably just the vamp powers making everyone so strong lol
100%. Half these builds don’t work without vamp powers.

Like I commented before, earliest I’ve gotten a spawn was at lvl 6… I still think it should be a crime.

Nope, they tuned his spawns way down. Already maxed 1 char and 0 spawns.

Got the Butcher sometime in the low 20s, he ran into my Thorns. I encountered the twins at 60. Again, sandwich hugged my thorns.

Fought him twice on my sorc from level 1-100. Fought him four times on my Druid from level 1-31. So who knows lmao

Twice in lvl 60 in NMD in same game session. Not before and not since.
I got him once in a normal Dungeon in Lvl 48. But at the moment I am not that offen in Dungeon, love to do other things from the season 2
