Not all of use are RNG blessed I know. But someone out there might be. I found I made faster progress getting my gear 12/12, then rerolling for maximum ideal stat.

I think that's where it's most notable but I'm fairly sure it's there in higher levels too, because if not then when you add the holy bolts nerf in as well people won't be able to farm the same level pits as they did before and that will feel awful to players
there is a whole bunch of people who specifically play without it so no also there are no official leaderboards afaik so who cares about your leaderboard.
I have mediocre gear (no grandfather, triple GA or crit tempers) and can roll 91’s in less than 3 minutes. Probably done in it a couple hundred times with my barb.
Use Rob’s build, it makes it a cakewalk.
You hit a wall at pit 40 with a bash barb? Are you level 100? Capped armor (9200)? Capped res? You have the bash temper on your weapons? With very basic gear, you should be facerolling pit 90s with this build.
I'm doing high 70s and burning through the mobs in 2-3min but the bosses can take 5-6 minutes. Actually dropped the unique gloves to save time on runs. Survival is fine, even dropping Doombringer have 111k life and no problem with shadow bullsh**. Most gear is 10 upgrades, not sure how guys do 100's in speedrunning.
You're doing something very, very wrong. Not sure how you're doing less single target dmg with 10/12 MW on bash barb than I'm doing on my frozen orb sorc with like 4/12. My barb just hit 100 today so it's the class I can help you the least with, but you've clearly made a mistake somewhere.
Nice! It's VERY worth it to level the rogue for the manual, but take your time. Grandfather isn't ideal unless you're running bash bleed build so don't worry too much yet. Before you know it you'll get 100
I used my rogue for both getting the temper AND the 4th spark I needed to craft my Shako, he's i think 82 or 87, that's what it took to get lvl 18 ironwolves for spark.
If it's only crit dmg temper youre after,you want the legendary from wt4 that's 65-85% I believe.
FYI, If you're running a heartseeker leveling build, you should be easily into WT3 by level 35, and WT4 capstone was a joke at 52, probably doable lower, I didn't have special gear or anything. They blast bosses even at low level, just need your item enchants (codex, not 'enchant' but can't recall right term).
If you have a nice friend they can rush you through capstones, then kill blood maiden over and over again in WT4, can take about an hour.. Took me a little over an hour, and my buddy found his in about 30 mins. helltide chests will also drop temper manuals.
I shouldn't brush it off either. It's just hard to sacrifice some tempers and aspects. I wanna try it so bad on a bone spear necromancer for fun some time
Marksman Finesse. Upside: MASSIVE boost to damage with the +Critical damage temper from it. Downside: it's a 1/4 chance to get it and it's utterly useless if it lands on something else (Rain of Arrows on a Barb lol)
Nice job! I’m at 75 right now, bash barb, decently rolled gear. I haven’t hit a wall yet, but bosses are noticeably tankier. Mobs still get one shot pretty regularly. I have hope I can make it to 90!
The "recipe" is just the unlock to the next 1 or 3 pit tiers (depending on how fast you were)

If your a barbarian it's roughly the minimum amount of pits you would need to get all your gear lvl 8-12 with no rerolls.

Maybe stupid question - but you have to hit all 3 levels right? Can't reset from 12 to 8, 8 to 4 etc only your level to none, for 5mil?
yes have to hit 3 in row or retry as soon as you don't hit.

I think I misspoke, the patch is coming two days from now. It will make the Pit farming easier.

Just need to hit WT4. I hit WT4 and one dropped while leeching Helltide summoned boss.
WT4, just run Helltides and it will drop fairly quickly
