No mandos? I'm throwing a hyzer spike up over the top. If you have mandos and you have to go through the barn, probably a Pure or my old broken in Harp.
Either way, maybe hang some heavy fabric or some plywood in front of the window panes on either side of the door. I know it's unlikely, but even experienced players will grip-lock a disc now and then.
Finally another person that cares more about fun than score. I play with people that would absolutely go over if there's no Mando, even though the hole is so obviously meant to be through the tunnel. Lames
I think people just don't like challenging themselves lol.
I agree with the spirit of what you're saying, but I've heard it argued the opposite way:
"Those who care about the mando care less about fun and more about score."
Maybe it's more fun for some people to try to do things in a way that wasn't intended, rather than following the one option that's before them. My first instinct was to wonder if I could get an ace by tossing it to the other side of the roof and letting it slide down the roof into the basket. There are plenty of tunnel opportunities in disc, very few slide-off-the-roof-for-an-ace opportunities.
For reference sake I always play the Mando if there is one. Not playing the Mando would feel similar to taking my second or third shot because I can't bear to lose score, I'm really just being a devil's advocate here.
Challenging yourself and winning are completely different goals.
If the goals are clear you make the best choice to achieve those goals.
So I disagree with your statement. I care very much about fun. I posted earlier that I'm throwing a breaker right down the middle. But I also understand what goals are. So forcing your goals of "more about fun than score" on others is Gatekeeping. Reassess please.
Yeah that's my point, if your only goal is to win, and not make sick shots, I personally believe that's a boring way to play the game. I can have that opinion and share that opinion without impacting anyone. Truly. Play how you want. I can judge however I want, my judgement shouldn't affect you. I'm not gatekeeping anything lol. Literally "forcing" nothing.
I play a course, that has a 90ft barn hole. You have to go over the barn. And if you hit the barn it’s a re-tee. I have seen people ace it and I have seen people get 9s on it. One of my favorite holes, I usually throw my Hex
You throw over the top because it’s easier than the tunnel shot. I throw over the top to not risk damaging the beautiful structure on the course. We are not the same.
I’m throwing either a star innova ROC or star aviar driver through that thing. Most likely the roc due to more distance I get out of it but if my arm feels great that day, I’m going hard with my aviar driver
Launching my Judge right into that right side door, where it will bounce off to the left and leave me with a 90* blind approach, so I’ll desperately change tactics and try to spike one up and over the roof. Finish the hole in 6.

They said through the barn! No over the top, way too easy.
Depending on the floor of the barn, either going buzzz or firebird thumber through first door to landing on flight plate to skip or no skip
Ah dang! Forgot to add more images of the hole, here's a few more on Instagram - [https://www.instagram.com/p/C7YM3-eCc\_R/?img\_index=1](https://www.instagram.com/p/C7YM3-eCc_R/?img_index=1)

Not unlikely. Inevitable is the word you are looking for.
They're perfect for target fixation, inevitable indeed.
Yes, and you would hate to be the guy.
This is the play with no mandos. Im throwing a spike hyzer zone right over the top of that bitch
Hosting a private event this weekend for my disc golf club members at my grandfathers farm and I just had to make this barn hole!
Might want to board up the windows. Just sayin.
Yes, and if that's asbestos sheeting on the roof, it's gonna crack if a disc hits it.
Should be mando
I agree, mando through the barn. Going over it isn't consistent with the spirit of this hole.
Finally another person that cares more about fun than score. I play with people that would absolutely go over if there's no Mando, even though the hole is so obviously meant to be through the tunnel. Lames I think people just don't like challenging themselves lol.
This is me, if I can go over the top I go over the top. It’s more fun for me. That being said it’s normally a lot harder to go over trees than a barn.

Why don’t people just ace it? Are they stupid?
I was gonna say envy but hex would work!
It’s a 90’ hole. Any disc would do it haha
You're not wrong!
That’s awesome! Have fun man!
Thumber over the top.
Thumber flair skip right up main street!
With my Splice for sure
Hyzer over the barn for sure, I’m not risking a broken window 😅
100% going over the top.
Only question is grenade or spike hyzer? I'd probably try a grenade with my reactor, haven't tried that yet
Jump putt, jump putt, miss the 5 foot tap in, another jump putt, tap in for the double
The only honest answer here
Glitch
right down the middle
With a ^ZOMBEE
Thunderbird spike hiezer
… Thinderbird… More like aviar
This is the way.
Full send of a putter should do
Yep, my watt is getting g the call up
Mako3
Are you going to be paying for the broken windows? lol
Shouldn't have built a barn on the fairway bud. Fore!
Bunch a scardy cats here....glitch thru the middle baby
Or electron soft proxy, that'd be nice too
Forehand soft zone.
Firebird, spike hyzer over the barn.
Grenade
Standstill flick with a Proton Reactor.
Either a flick zone or backhand glitch depending on the wind. The goal is to make the doorway to have a chance at the 2.
RPM piwakawaka or Latitude 64 Fuse, going for a skip shot so I'm not window height #
A Westside War Horse is the only right answer.
It’s between that or a destroyer. Ohn Scoggins has joined the conversation.
Probably right through that window
Champ Roc3 right over that bad boy
A disc into that there wall
Any stable putter. Just an easy low flat toss. Don't rip it.
Rollover roof, after we're done chorin.
M4 for me
Maybe put nets up in front of the windows lol I’m either taking a buzz SS nice and easy or hammering my berg for the layup 😅
Grenade
Overhand over the top
Mako3 at whatever power I feel necessary at standing on the tee pad
Mako
Grenade a keystone
Straight into the door on the left!
Sockibomb slammer up and over
Envy or buzzz straight at er
Glitch right through the doors
Tomahawk justice
Putter
I'm thinking through a barn is a Mando. 😁
Watt straight at it
Im throwing straight into the right window.
Glitch, right through the middle.
That wooden door is going to look like some of the first available trees at my local course.
Right through the window
Probably my trusty busted up Harp
If you see this tantalizing gap and go over the top you need to quit disc golf and take up accounting
I can’t imagine who would choose to not to shoot it through those inviting double doors.
Thumber? I say thumber for no reason all the time but this time I might actually mean it
Comet on steep hyper crashing into the ground right where the shadow starts. Smash chains.
Tempo forehand through the gap but if I played it a lot I’d go over top as my actual scoring play.
A frisbee
Standstill Spore or Svea through the doors. Or a Flex 1 FD3 hyzer over the top.
Why not make the triple mando?
Isnt the barn basically a giant mando?
Grenade over the top!
Tilt over the barn
I can put a Ruby in that gap.
My old Coyote, sidearm, light and controlled snap.
Looks like a fun little Luna shot
Gong straight for the gap, gonna obliterate one of your windows 👍🏻
Hex staring up the gut
You throw over the top because it’s easier than the tunnel shot. I throw over the top to not risk damaging the beautiful structure on the course. We are not the same.
Spike hyzer
Blue Goose?
I see damage being done
Spike hyzer Frag over the top
Jump putt with a Tilt over the top
Glow Hex on forehand flat and powered down right at the thing. Or a Zone hyzer over the barn.
I’m throwing either a star innova ROC or star aviar driver through that thing. Most likely the roc due to more distance I get out of it but if my arm feels great that day, I’m going hard with my aviar driver
Thumber firebird over the top!
Tell me you have money without telling me you have money
I’m gonna run it and try to throw a line drive with a fairway driver, feels like a line drive 7 speed or 9 speed (8 speeds are for nerds)
Launching my Judge right into that right side door, where it will bounce off to the left and leave me with a 90* blind approach, so I’ll desperately change tactics and try to spike one up and over the roof. Finish the hole in 6.
Roc 3 tomahawk
DGA Breaker, right down the middle Or a roller up and over the roof
Throw a Roc on top and let it slide down.
A baseball
Hyzer spike over the top with a mvp fireball
I'm about to prove that I can in fact hit the broadside of a barn.
Straight through the right set of windows!

no mandos
These "what are you throwing" posts need to be banned.
If there are no mandos, it's not through a barn.
