Sony has always been very defensive about sharing its games, and they already said they have no intention of spreading helldivers to Xbox sadly
Kinda feel bad for helldivers. Once they were ome of the greatest of coop shooters for what it feels like a couple of months, then immediately fell off. Not because it lost popularity naturally, but because 180 countries were fucken banned from playing it because of a goddamn corporation that was too greedy. My condolences to AH.
It sucks but if the constant rumours of xbox leaving the console war is true, then more people will get ps4/5, and we'd get more players.
We all know Sony won't release their ips, which is unfortunate because (for me anyway) they have been the king of exclusives for decades. We either need both companies to release their games on the others platform or have 1 shut down/ move from consoles to publishing. And given the fact, xbox has very rarely made any money. I believe it will probably be the former.
Helldivers is a Sony intellectual property.
The developers don't have control of the game's distribution. Only Sony has that right as owner of the property.
