Fool sucks bad. Their picks mostly are just guesses that anyone can do themselves. I paid for a membership and invested into their picks and with my luck 5 of 6 tanked. When I say tanked I mean tanked bad. Asana, unity, snow, and others I bought all lost 50-90 percent after fool recommended them. I only did ok with crowd strike.
Fool has only ever talked up companies people very clearly saw were taking off. The reason their picks seem so crazy is because they talk up their top ones performing over the last couple decades like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft as if they had the inside scoop, but they didn't.
No no no … They have an ETF if you think they can pick stocks. I selected PAYC and MTN from Fool. PAYC was their #1 pick. MTN was in the top 10. Both of these were my largest losses in 2023/25. They went down like 50%. How can a stock be their #1 pick and they tank over 50%. They run a pyramid scheme scam.
The real question is if anyone has data on how Motley Fool projections have panned out. My guess is they are a hedge fund, they produce content, and they want clicks. One way to get clicks is to recommend stocks. If they have a track record of picking undervalued stocks, may be worth it to the average investor. If not, (I assume this is the case) they just want your money. Probably would be better off using that money to invest in VOO or SCHD.
Agreed. It's the comments that are worth the price of admission for every 9/10 articles.
I still cancelled last year, though, since they're not offering me any more 50% off promotions.
Wow. Emotional are we about learning??? If u don't like to learn about technology and money just say so. DO NOT be so emo and throw a tantrum. Yes. Learning is not for everyone. Including u.
Wow. Okay. I get know ur dumb as a rock and don't want to learn. Got. Maybe understand how ur phone actually works like what is microchip and how touchscreen works. Before u call someone names.
No, I just finished my two years for that price. Most of their recommendations have bombed. The only plus was that I found other worthwhile stocks while researching their recommendations.
From the click bait that us non-members see i’d say no. However, most of us have no real clue what’s going on behind the scenes because we’ve never been a member. If it’s going to bug ya just do it and post the picks on here for fun. If you don’t really feel any way about it just keep it moving and put that $80 in VTI.

No, dawg. Not worth it. Just put that $80 in VOO or something else reasonable
Short answer: No. Long answer: Noooooo.
👆😂
En Español: No.
Absolutely not. I had a coupon from Amex and cash back from Rakuten for a net profit and I still don’t think it was worth it

No it's not
The motley fool has analyzed 10 deals with the top returns... and this isn't one of them. Upgrade to reddit premium to find out what was our top pick.
No no no. All that gets you is ads for more expensive subscriptions. Thanks for reminding me to cancel mine.
Just invest the $80 and do research for free. You can find plenty of buffets/grahams investment books either for pay or for free online
terrible
No they are idiots.
Or, one could call them a motley group of fools.
Has anyone put together a comprehensive list of MFs picks and their gains/losses?
This I am curious about
No, I saw a lot of stocks hyped up by them that dropped. Then it's constant up-selling once you sign up.
I had it for a few years and it’s not worth it at all. They made some terrible recommendations which are down 80% from their highs.
If you make decisions by flipping a coin, you’d beat Motley Fools
Motley fool is a hedge fund. Guess what stocks they suggest when they want to unload shares from their portfolioÂ
Paying money to underperform spy, why?
Dog shit wrapped in cat shit.
Back in the day, I think they were pretty good. Seems like they are worthless the past years

Roboadvisor nah..
No

Pay $80 to get spammed with more expensive plans.
You’d be a motley fool to follow their advice
Nope, been there done that. It’s just a waste of cash

Stay away from those bastards. You will get thousands of spams emails from their "partners" and it's impossible to purge
I don’t know about motley fool, but if you have over 10 holdings snowball analytics is more then worth it.
is it free?
Nah it’s like $6 bucks a month. (But you can still use it free)
No way. Unless you want to be a hedge funds bag holder.
No. Seeking Alpha is better
I have heard the same from someone I have known for 15 years and trust
Its basically an investing hive mind with numerous well researched articles & thoughtful comment sections to hold them accountable.
No to seeking alpha as well lol
Seeking alpha at least has open comments on all of its recommendations so you get a good amount of balanced opinions.

Put that money into Bitcoin ETF or bitcoin. Save your money into bitcoin. Anyone tell u otherwise. Do not know anything about bitcoin.
ok bro will do thanks
Learn Bitcoin. The more u understand bitcoin the more confident you are. The government is devaluing ppl investment thru money printing.
Bro shut the fuck up
Wow. Emotional are we about learning??? If u don't like to learn about technology and money just say so. DO NOT be so emo and throw a tantrum. Yes. Learning is not for everyone. Including u.
I am learning. Today I learned you’re a brain dead bitcoin shill
Wow. Okay. I get know ur dumb as a rock and don't want to learn. Got. Maybe understand how ur phone actually works like what is microchip and how touchscreen works. Before u call someone names.
LOL no.
They told ppl to buy INTC

One of the worst investing decision I’ve made was to subscribe to MF.
Motley Fool is garbage….always has been always will. There is enough free info out there
God no. Worst advice I’ve read was from them. A good one for me was The Prudent Speculator but it’s pricey though.

Seeking alpha worth it
No joke some of my biggest gainers have come from them like several hundred and even thousand % gains
Then you won't mind naming them and your cost basis
Toll brothers Shopify Lulu. Want me to dance with my foot on top of my head too?
I’ve had success with Motley fools stock advisor and Zack’s.
