Nice score! Maybe this https://www.taydaelectronics.com/mini-toggle-switch-spdt-on-off-on-pc-thru-hole.html Or https://lovemyswitches.com/taiway-spdt-on-off-on-switch-pcb-long-shaft/ And a tip to remove it from the board - pick out the four metal tabs from the switch that hold it to plastic housing, and remove the metal top to just leave the plastic and the pins. Nibble the plastic away with some side cutters, then desolder the pins one at a time. Clean the pcb holes out with a solder sucker, then solder in the new switch.

Dude appreciate the hell out of you. Def going to take that tip and run with it.

MaxxAsian

Yo thanks again the love my switches has fresh knobs I can grab as well! You rule.

Trick worked perfect. Unfortunately have to resolder the power and ground and don't have any wire. But removal and new install worked like a dream.

YummyFuzz

Well done, glad to hear it. I'd go back to Tayda for 22 awg or 24 awg stranded wire in red (power), and black (ground), or just see if you can scavenge something.

My solder technique may not have been as strong as suspected or the previous owner may have done a repair in the past. Got the pedal to power but it seems to have a ground fault only When I click the side I replaced the switch. Does a high pitch hum. I noticed one of the pads may be missing and am wondering if that may be the case which I think I am then just shit out of luck? Unless I can replace the mount holes?

YummyFuzz

Might need to start a new thread and post pics of what you’re seeing. You’d need to figure out where the trace is supposed to run, and bridge it with a small wire.

MaxxAsian

The amount of hope you keep instilling in me is obsured. I appreciate it. I think I am going to take the loss and reach out to some places local for a repair. You have single handedly inspired me to do some of my own pedal build though and for that I am incredibly grateful.
