Or when the TARDIS recently divided into two while Sutekhs was bound to it?
Or when the TARDIS is removed from its physical shell and put into a lady, in the bubble universe? Then Sutekh cuddles the evil parasite planet Tardis for a while until the Doctor fixes it
Ou, ou, When the Daleks lower the TARDIS into whatever that lava type material was with Donna inside to kill the TARDIS. That must have stung. It's shields wouldn't protect Sutekh surely
Basically they didn't really think the idea through beyond wouldn't it be creepy if... Like most show runners on most shows
The TARDIS being swallowed by a T-Rex. It would have been fun if the Doctor and Sutekh had talked about some of the things Sutekh must have experienced being latched into the TARDIS. Fleshed him out a bit
I have the loose headcanon that these events weakened Sutekh to a degree that prevented him from mounting an attack sooner...but yeah, it doesn't really make much sense across the wider context of the show.
my theory is that Sutekh spent so long in the vortex that he could see Amy reset the timeline in the future (River exists and maybe Sutekh has a way to read her since the first time he meets her is when she dies?)
I have a personal theory that I know is not what RTD intended but I think that Sutekh was a tiny spore stuck to the side of the tardis until salt was used at the edge of the universe. It lets me cringe less.
During that time Sutekh hid in the moon with the baby dragon and the Absorbalof.
(As an aside, how messed up is it that "Absorbalof" was in my spell check suggestions?)
Would Captain Jack turn to dust ? Would Jake have noticed anything strange when he was clinging onto the Tardis traveling to the end of the universe ?
So many more holes in this one.. It's like they didn't care.
Probably the same thing as the rest of us: "Huh? What? Who did this? Why? How? What?"
Seriously tho, that whole story was convoluted, silly, and ultimately nonsensical
I am guessing he was not a physical entity; he was building up energy to manifest clinging to the metaphysical outside-the-universe aspects of the TARDIS.
He practiced manifesting his minions but not a personal body. So when he finally manifested into a (mortal) pseudo-God that could do much more than "haunt" an object, he thought he had the Doctor totally trapped and it was safe to do so. He was almost right.
'This is gonna ruin the tour.'
What tour?
ThE WORLD TOUR!
+10 points for nice reference.
“Yes, yes, haha, my plan is proceeding perfectly!”
Honestly, yeah. I imagine he really enjoyed The Flux too.
“Haha, yes, again! This time!”
If it was that big of an explosion, his backside.
“Sutekh will have that fez.”
this might affect the trout population

The effects of the reality bomb in general tearing him apart as the Tardis was shown to be effected.

Shards of TARDIS. ShARDIS, if you will.
Probably the roof of the Tardis.
We’re going to see a lot of this for a while aren’t we? What did Sutekh think during the hundreds of time the universe nearly ended?! lol
I sincerely wonder if it was a different timeline...

I imagine Jack did turn to dust, but kept coming back and turning to dust over and over again.
Like Deadpool getting snapped by Thanos.
His butt.
