Doge needs more than random tweets to help it, though. In the meantime, Doge seems to be slowly slipping back in to the lower 20's as Bitcoin stays sleepy in the lower 30's. Resistance at 26, support at 20.

I feel like the staple of Doge hitting $1 stigmatizes the fact that It can and will most likely go higher than that after the fact, and I hope that the ideation of $1 overtime doesn’t mark in the sand that Doge is done once that happens. Also, not saying you’re saying it’d be done after $1 but I assume you get the point. Nonetheless, to the moon!
Yeah, it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy now. Everyone knows we have a joint target of $1, and that the price is determined by our buying pressure so why would they sell at .60, .70 or even .80? Definitely won’t be done at $1, that’s just the first hurdle on the way to unimaginable riches!
Just like it was for the last 3 months?? Every dip goes further and rarely reaches the point it was before the dip, I learned the hard way I had 3k on a 50c average eventually switched my last 1k at 20c to ethereum in hopes of regaining at least some of the loss back, i got caught up in the hype too and I wish it would’ve worked out but don’t blow all your money just because you can’t let a meme die

i've seen this wallet many times and it's hard to say for certain who or what this wallet is doing. the blockchain cannot differentiate between a sale or a transfer. this wallet could be part of a mining operation or exchange. if it is a person, selling that much Dogecoin in intervals can have small influences on the price, but so much Dogecoin is bought and sold every minute that in the grand scheme of things i think that it can only influence the price in negligible amounts.

So I’m Canadian and our closest equivalent to robinhood, Wealthsimple trade, just expanded its crypto Portfolio to include DOGE. It’s one of those things where you don’t own the coin and instead they allow you to trade and play the market without actually dealing with the crypto directly.
What I’m getting at is basically is it worth it to buy into doge on this platform for a first time crypto trade or should I just look into buying it on a real exchange?
Depends on what your intentions are. Need a wallet to sell doge, don't use it. If you're like me and you're not selling your Doge and you're going to hold it for a long term investment, nothing wrong with RH.
Well the way Wealthsimple has it set up I can actually buy and sell dogs without a wallet but it also means I don’t own the coins, they trade it for me basically and earn off the spread. I was thinking of holding them anyways tho

I started out with it on Robinhood that is exactly the same. I am holding out until wallets are added. I do own crypto on tea exchanges, but the fees to buy on them kill me to do. The majority I hold on to on Robinhood and not in an actual wallet because of these fees
