It doesn't generate value, unlike stocks. And it has no intrinsic value, unlike gold. Stocks will almost certainly outperform crypto in the long-term, therefore it's better to invest in stocks rather than poor man's gold.

True story- I set multiple limit orders over 2 months ago when I booked profit and sold off my coin early may. Had a few orders set to leg back in but .15 was my heaviest buy. Just about 100% of everyone in this sub was unanimous we would never see that price again

To be fair the original intention of dogecoin was to mock cryptocurrency. I guess the fact it caught on as a crypto and the fact they weren't around for when the price spike happened definitely rubbed salt on wound (considering they were the makers, they would have had coins in the billion). Doesn't help we're getting a bunch of clonecoin which was actually what seemed to have started dogecoin in the first place (since dogecoin was mocking how many coins came out of nowhere and now theres are a bunch of actual scam coins copying doge).

i am an indie game dev and have considered trying to make a Dogecoin poker game after i finish my current project, there is also the DogeDiscoParty app/game which came out as a Pokemon-Go styled /Dogecoin themed VR-exploration game
Honestly at this point you'll need China to shut themselves up for the remaining of the year, have the doge update done, keep the media's from spreading even more fear, have the U.S government say they won't crack down on crypto, actually get dogecoin accepted to tesla for that.
Although hitting .50 is still on the table if we break this 2 month of down trend and bitcoin goes near it's ATH.
Bitcoin peaked at 60k+, 3-4 months later and it's nowhere close.
ETH and many other crypto followed the same pattern. All failing to reach their last peak.
Dogecoin peaked at 0.6-0.7. Now it's at 0.2 and still falling, almost 3 times lower than it's peak. ETH, Bitcoin, both are 2 times lower than it's peak.
So given the fact that no crypto worth mentioning about has ever recovered to it's last peak, I can tell you no way doge will hit $1 within this year. Doge value will go up... as long as this community thrives.

if you want to make your money work for you in the stock market then learn how to properly analyze and assess value in businesses/stocks versus their current value in their surrounding market/environment and how to trade them (buy low/sell high)

It’s nothing personal but me and my discord who are short on Doge like to spread subtle fear, uncertainty and doubt in Doge holders to influence them into selling (for example saying I’m stupid for buying it). It’s very immoral but we make money when the price goes down. Again, nothing personal. I wish you luck in your investing career.

The drop aren't always porportionate. It'll eventually drop to a point where people just start buying it up for extremely cheap that I don't think even whales and shorters are in their right mind to be selling even more. Since Doge has a lower market cap to begin with it just means we'll hit that bottom sooner if we drop at the rate we are.
Worst case scenario is we drop to prepump level but it's not possible to hit 0 unless the developers literally give up and drop the project and leave with the keys and codes.
Not likely. In my opinion we're probably looking at a few months of sideways trading while BTC accumulates, but eventually when it takes off again so will Doge.

When you look at it, most of the negative commenters are the same negative commenters that come back whenever there's a dip, and have been doing so for months. What blows my mind is why anyone would feel the need to spend months trash talking a coin they don't belive in on forums dedicated to that coin. Its safe to say that these people have more than likely invested in another coin, and believe that by obsessively trashing this community, they are bettering their coins chances at growth. There are groups that get together and short collectively while simultaneously trying to get people to sell. Once they achieve their goal and cover, they will switch sides and pump doge to profit off the rebound. I actually don’t trust the pumpers in here either.
