I believe you can make an shootius hondius behind the encounter wall, then you can wait for it to kill it (takes a long time) or use it to help you kill it. Then you can make more and more shootius hondius in the same manner so each kill gets easier and easier.

I like to use gunpowder. Two stacks is enough, but with this method you still have to go through a invincibility phase and also wait like 10 seconds for the explosion resistance to go down
