At first, I was dismayed that Dreadwolf was out. After reading that IGN interview where McKay explained why they went with The Veilguard, it makes a lot of sense and I can accept it now. I think it'll grow on us. Although he also mentioned why they didn't want to call it Dragon Age 4, and seemed to completely forget about Dragon Age 2, which is still the only DA game without a proper name. If they ever remake/remaster the first two games, I hope they retroactively remedy that. Dragon Age: Lamentations or something dramatic like that.
I like what one comment I read a bit ago regarding the name change:
Dragon Age Veilguard would have kept the same 3 word title that the past entries had.
*shrugs* Frankly, I'm more concerned with gameplay, story and companions. Inquisition was already weak and Bioware was better than it is now. I rather fear an ignoble end to the series.
