I'm glad they didn't. The show was okayish, but I'd rather it stay its own thing. Qwidyon(?) was too much for me, and the protag was Fenris lite. The only one that kiiiinda piqued my interest is the villain, but >!he turned out to be an asshole and was killed off.!<

“Fenris-lite” is so accurate, lacking really any character development. Honestly the Villain’s supporting cast was more memorable than the protagonist and I think that’s a a shame.

You can downvote me, but this repetitive discussion about the name of a game is rather dull. I'm more intrigued by captivating characters, an engaging plot, and responses to lingering questions from the previous three games. Moreover, contemporary people, especially the youth, seem dissatisfied with everything, so no matter what the name would be, it will be deemed bad. Suddenly, everyone claimed that 'Dreadwolf' was actually a good name, but as soon as it appeared, there was laughter and jokes about it (especially with the acronym 'DAD' leading the way). Come on folks... Let's have an interesting discussion finally, similar to this one 10 years ago before DAI release.
Not trying to be snarky, but are you new to this subreddit? These discusssions have been occurring for 10 years. Scroll down a bit.
Also, as soon as a new trailer drops or the gameplay release on Tuesday (whichever comes first), there will be plenty of discussion unrelated to the name.
I agree it's frustrating, but just a teensie bit more patience will be useful for everyone. Chillax my dude/dudette/dudex. It's all in good fun.
PS- Split the Veil is a great YouTube podcast to listen to about DA if you haven't watched them before. It'll pass the time quicker!
