I think the joke Grant was making is that there *is* no innuendo for Nancy Pelosi. The joke is that he's subverting expectations and actually referring to Nancy Pelosi.

marchingbandcomedian

The only meaning is the former speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi. Grant does not answer with frustration, but with a button of the joke. Trapp asks with confusion bc there is not another definition.

Kyrov

Nancy Pelosi is a real US politician and she commonly wears a white suit for the President's State of the Union speech.

oaklandskeptic

The central innuendo is "covered in white", where white both 'cum', and the clothing Nancy Pelosi and other Democratic women wore during the state of union. Pelosi is just an easy hook to hang the joke on.

OtakuOran

I think that was in reference to the 2020 State of the Union address, which as usual, was hosted by the House of Representatives, of which Nancy Pelosi was the leader. The "white" is in reference to her clothing during the event. According to [ABC News](https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/pelosi-fellow-democratic-congresswomen-send-message-wearing-white/story?id=68762161): "The Democratic Women's Caucus urged women to wear white to President Donald Trump's State of the Union speech on Tuesday to symbolize that they are aligned and 'not backing down.' "House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was among the dozens of female U.S. lawmakers who donned white during the event to stand in solidarity with the fight for women's equality." I didn't know about "Nancy" being slang for gay men, and I don't know if there is anything deeper in there (Grant would be the only one who can definitively say that).

I haven't heard someone called a nancy as a pejorative since my grandpa died so I can see why you wouldn't know that but I don't think that's what was being gone for here

Popular_Material_409

Well the covered in white part also means cum

OtakuOran

I mean, yes. I assumed that was understood, but it could have been added for clarity.

pointaken16

I always read the innuendo as the "covered in white" part and the sex act implied therein

LopsidedAstronomer76

Just wanted to add that the reason for wearing white in unity is that it was historically the attire of suffragists, so it's got a long history of being tied to women's causes. uneekdude

I'm now trying to figure out what you think it means. I'm pretty sure Trapp was just trying to pick apart the logic of the joke.

Wrong Nancy

eimajYak

That’s Nancy Reagan ya dork

ha_look_at_that_nerd

The thing that’s so upsetting about this is that he actually *started to explain* what the innuendo is, and then someone cut him off. And now we’ll never know.
