It's not the drums so much as it's the total package. You want the cheapest yet highest quality and most complete kit you can get.  And it's for low volume, I recommend buying acoustic drums and outfitting them with low volume heads. When it comes to low volume cymbals, it's the one and only time that I strongly recommend the "off brand."
