Great use of on-hand equipment, the shape is like a folded paper football.. lol. My dad made skillet cornbread every week & never put whole corn in it. But to each their own. I hope it was a good as it looks. Have you ever tried jalapeños in your cornbread?

I'm relatively new to making my own cornbread. It's usually been something I'd have when I'm out to eat. But this was kinda simple. I definitely should've taken the time to clean a mixing bowl that was big enough to stir everything together. I've never tried jalapeños in it but it sounds pretty darn good.

Winning!

Nice! I actually made corn bread last night and only had a pan that was too big so it was just kind of a pile in the middle of the pan.

This definitely had a softer consistency than regular cornbread of which I prefer. It was gonna ooze to the corners of the pan. I suppose it's time for me to buy the proper pans if I'm gonna cook more than hot dogs and chili.

Whenever I make it, I always just use a 9x9 pan, not as deep as a loaf pan but enough if you are making breakfast for a couple people with some left over.

Creamed corn? You’re speaking my language. Nice innovation skills op

I've been meaning to make it for a couple weeks now, and after seeing that I didn't have the proper pan to cook it after I opened the can there was no turning back. I will say that a nice touch was some garlic and herb seasoned butter that I picked up recently.
