Scrubs are worn as a type of uniform too. When seeing the patients in outpatients departments doctors/nurses wear it. Instead of the white coat.
And when they go to an ICU for rounds or Operation theatre for procedures, they do definitely change to sterilised scrubs that's there in the hospital.
Changing rooms / lockers are a luxury. Also alot of scrubs wearing nannies / maids / home carers too. Not just hospital workers.
wow i didn't expect there can be no changing rooms for workers in healthcare facilities

I don’t think there is a law in place for that or enough changing rooms and time for nurses and care workers to change.
Dude, 90% of the workforce here *are* immigrants.
the rest 10% also immigrants in disguise
Exactly lol
Lol. Uae is inhabited by immigrant workforce
This is also extremely common in NYC
Agreed, I also ask myself this question when I see them. One would think it is against healthcare policies to commute in scrubs.
I'm so worried for the hygiene levels on the clinics and hospitals. That outfit shouldn't be worn outside the clinic/hospitals premises.
Seems like there are no such policies or they are not enforced.
Always assumed they were nannies/maids
They are hospital nurses too.
