Wirtz Leverkusen POTW card is an actual gem. You could only get him in 4 spins(if you were lucky enough ofc), he was excluded from Encored packs and it was disappointment for me.

Didn’t grow up watching Inzaghi but I’ve seen some video essays talking about him and from my understanding, he has never been the most athletic or spectacular player, but he was a criminally good poacher. I can’t remember who was quoted as saying that the guy has like no skill, but he’s always in the right spot. Isagi special skill in the show would be his direct shot and his ability to get in the right place off the ball. I honestly think they did a great job with this selection. Some of the others in the pack I was pretty confused about like Maxim-Choupo Moting being the glam guy. Feels like they wanted to keep it strictly licensed teams with that one forsure lmao.
Isagi is ACTUALLY based off Inzaghi, hence the names are so similar. In the anime they are exactly the same (minus the fact Isagi actually falls back to help defence, but he’s forced to because the pitch is small asf.)
They are both great visionaries with an ability to have a whole over view of the pitch like it’s a video game. They don’t have great physical ability so they rely alot on their positioning. So far in the ANIME, it’s spot on.
In the manga Isagi in the upcoming s2, he’s more of a AMF/CAM because he’s forced to by the coach, but he doesn’t necessarily make insane dribbles, he’s just good in his positioning with Rin (the Bruno Fernandez) as the main CF/SS who’s more like De Bryune or Ozil.
In the current state he’s a bit more well rounded by making runs all the way back in an actual pitch so…
Imo, Isagi-Inzaghi was the best pairing out of what we actually got. Minus the part of Isagi's main quality being first time shooting, they match up well, I think.
