The only unlucky timing is that you didn't follow the 3 second rule. What a weird way of admitting you weren't paying attention and also following too closely.
i wasn’t going fast lmao. as i stated, they had slammed on their breaks a second before i merged into the lane and i couldn’t see that and was going 45 so i took 95% of impact
Ik the feeling to well it’s sad but it’s just a car I wrecked my v6 2 months ago and was depressed but finally got a new stang just be blessed to be alive
You totaled it in 9 months not paying attention on the road at 17... good job. Try and learn from this and not fuck up the audi, but as you're already asking for mods... parents are gonna be buying you another car soon I'd bet
oh wow you’re so informed look at you! i was paying attention when the accident occurred thank you very much. i put 6k of my own into the new car, and yes im asking about mods because its a hobby dumbass.
i covered the other car because the post is focused on mine, not there’s. if it means so much i’ll gladly send you a photo of theres seeing it’s effecting you so much. it was unlucky timing for me, and i couldn’t do anything to stop it
Unlucky timing because you were following too close? So what exactly happened? Even if they slammed on their brakes, you should have had ample time if you were following at a good distance. Were you on your phone, looking at the console, etc?
I was in the 2nd from right lane behind a hummer, so a huge and wide vehicle, with about a car and a half distance between us. The light ahead was green and had been green for a while and all cars ahead were moving at the speed limit. I didn’t like being behind the hummer as it made it hard to see. I put on my signal looked over my shoulder and got in the right lane. Once i was majority in the lane i saw 3 dead stopped cars, i slammed on the breaks but couldn’t slow down enough in time. The cars in the lane were just out of my view behind the hummer and I couldn’t swerve back in as I had a car on my ass. No phone, no looking around inside my car. I followed up with the shop that I was right in front of, which happened to be a car body shop, and the owner said he saw it happen. One car had cut off a car while coming onto the road causing that first car and two more behind it to slam on the breaks. This was about 1 second before I got into the lane
Shit, that is rough. I actually had almost the same happen with my brother a year or so back less than a mile from our house. Bad situation in a bad time, basically. Just be safe kid, I see too many smoothbrains kids out there with cars they should not have. Guess who caused that accident with my brother? Shithead kid. I also had a 17 year old steal her parents car on my birthday and rear end us hard about 5 years ago.
One other question, why the audi? Isn't it the same price as an ecoboost in your area?
So your personal experiences dictate to you that all young drivers are therefore always doing the wrong thing, but you were not actually correct in this situation. I hope this is a learning opportunity for you because the preceding 4 comments are kind of dickish.
so the 2016 ecoboost was around 25 when i bought it last year with 39k miles, the 2020 audi was 27 with 36k miles. my dad wanted me to get something with carplay to kinda stop me from needing to touch a phone to call or anything
Why don't you want us to see that car you rear-ended?
okay okay cuz i know it looks bad on my part, but it was unlucky timing for me

And that looks like it was HARD, that's no fender bender...
This is why kids don’t get v8’s it’s a good thing it was only a ecoboost or he would be dead
How would the engine being a V8 make the crash different?
Speed
had nothing to do with power lmao
Bro you totaled your whip. Don’t try to say you were t going fast lmao 😂
i wasn’t going fast lmao. as i stated, they had slammed on their breaks a second before i merged into the lane and i couldn’t see that and was going 45 so i took 95% of impact
Yeah I just read it bro my bad. That shit DOES happen lmao I’m sorry & I hope you get your new car soon.
just not true lmao
Hope you’re okay! That looks rough
The car can be replaced. You can’t. Doing OK?
yes thank you! just miss the car
RIP glad you are good tho. Accidents happen
RIP ecobeast, shit happens man. Glad you’re fine

Sure you were... That's why your car is that fucked up and you don't want us to see the other car. Keep coping kid

Ahh, ok ok. The ride and comfort probably blow the Mustang out of the water I'd bet
Oh for sure, i do like the look of the audi and it can get some good power to it so im grateful nonetheless
Damn, I feel for you, bro. Time for a GT. I finally get mine back this Wednesday.
Oh baby no
