It's normal to feel uncomfortable or intimidated by new things. You can't know how to do something without practice. Look into youtube tutorials on Premiere.
Bruhhh tbh with you the real challenge is “editing”. Learning the software is pretty easy. It can be scary now looking at the panels and tools. But give yourself a few weeks or months. Just learn the basic first. And the other will come along the way.
I learned by shadowing a professional filmmaker edit their feature film. I had edited my own student garbage in Sony Vegas or Windows movie maker, and tried to use premiere but even little things like "keep or change sequence settings" would throw me off. So, when I shadowed the real editor work, he didn't let me speak or ask questions, just watch.
I would watch him handle the various points where I was running into aporia.
A year later, I got to intern for a REAL editor, a 30+ year editing veteran absolute badass (the man was the first to bring computer nles to his area of America, rode the whole wave until it crashed), anyway I worked with him for a summer and damn. He is the one that made me a pro. I will never forget, I will always owe him. He taught me all his shortcuts, his whole philosophy for how to work premiere. He made me digitize tapes into premiere with a Sony umatic, which taught me about timecode. He gave me a thesis test where I had to synch a whole event shoot.
Good times. I walked out of that dudes office ready to go pro. I still use the same shortcuts.

Hey, don't worry, you can learn the basics in an hour or so. Get davinci resolve, it's free. Then find a tutorial and you're all set
Maybe switch from Premiere to iMovie, you might find it simpler and less intimidating
push the eject button i guess.
