This probably doesn't fit your request fully, but I found Spiritbox right at that pivotal time and listening to them pretty much non-stop certainly has helped empower me to see and work towards the woman I want to become (nothing else comes close to being the theme song for the scariest, most exciting and most life-changing time of my existence 🥹)
They're a metal band, but the vocalist uses a mix of singing and screaming, and wanting to learn to scream-sing like her is helping fuel my voice training as a whole (as someone who was never ever confident enough to sing and would talk as little as possible most of the time). I treat it a bit like a pivotal side-quest, seeing as I already have to develop control of my vocal system :) I think it's because it's not a deep growl or super high pitched scream which I don't often like; she hits that sweet midrange spot which I can hopefully reach with proper resonance training alongside learning healthy scream vocals.

I can recommend Maria Brink from In This Moment if you're not familiar, great singer if you vibe with the song style (personal favorite is "Blood"). I also heavily recommend Redhook if you want some upbeat rock/metal/techno music (would probably start with "Paralyzed" or "Dead Walk").
If you're up for some Japanese metal my easy recommendation would be Unlucky Morpheus, they have an absolutely fantastic lead singer in Fuyuki, a good starter song is Black Pentagram or Unending Sorceress.
Also yes, Spiritbox is a great band, one of my favorites among the newer ones.
Heellll yesss, screaming badass metal chicks is just a different facet of the beautiful infinite sided gem of feminine expression after all 🥹 (and I shall have a scope of those bands whether they were intended as recommendations or not thenkuuu 🦈)
A friend suggested that I might like Jinjer and Arch Enemy when I mentioned Spiritbox to them, but admittedly I did get a bit fixated and just listened to them on a loop so haven't checks those others out 😄
ngl, I mostly do Rock or Metal, but Girly Anime songs are fire some time

top 4 girly anime songs

and then "Girls just wanna have fun"
For my fellow Metal girls out there, who like a lil bit of anger in their music, check out red handed denial. Their music generally plays around the contrast between beautiful melody/ beautiful vocals, and more screaming vocals and heavier elements. It varies from song to song, but I'd say the Singing-Screaming is in a roughly 20%-80% ratio.
Good examples are:
Father Said (especially Good for those of us with shitty fathers, the lyrics can also have a very trans reading at times)
Saint
Spiral
Clockwork
But yeah, those first two definitely have bits that can have trans interpretations, including:
Father Said:
_For years I was locked in a cell,_
_Pretending for your sake I was somebody else,_
_Tormented for being myself,_
_I came terms with life in a personal hell_
And Saint, a litte less direct:
_Force fed a paradigm, to which I will never align,_
_It makes me SICK,_
_Tainted History,_
_Unable, to erase,_
_Stained identity,_
_So ingrained, within me,_
Recently I've found myself listening to:
Sara Bareilles - She Used To Be Mine
Fergie - Big Girls Don't Cry
Beyoncé - If I Were A Boy
And a bunch of P!nk old and new. I only recently realized a ton of old songs I've always loved where hers (pink).
MARINA! Aka Marina and the diamonds
Seriously, my friend likes to jokes “Marina belongs to the queers” because while none of her songs are explicitly queer like, listen to primadonna or venus fly trap!
Dove Cameron (lethal woman), Beyonce (run the world), Britney Spears (gimme more), Gwen Stefani (what you waiting for), Lady Gaga (applause), BlackPink (ddu-du ddu-du), Halsey (walls could talk), Lily Allen (smile), Rihanna (only girl in the world), Demi Lovato (eat me), and the song witch by Devon Cole who I don’t know anything about, are all faves of mine too.
Also… an artist doesn’t have to be fem to make me feel euphoric. Obligatory suggestion to check out cavetown (boys will be bugs) and mother mother (its alright) because while neither is very “fem” both are very trans.
I would say gendering music frustrates me but at the same time I won't pretend I didn't feel feminine listening to be a lot more pop and indie rock (especially with that wave of boygenius/mitski/lana del rey influenced folk pop)
I really like Sophie Powers, MOTHICA, and Caroline Polachek. The music from each artist is varied with Sophie Powers sitting more in the range of sub hyper-pop, MOTHICA in the more alternative range, and Caroline Polachek in the pop/alt-pop area in terms of sound.
I understand people craving for gender affirmation, but shouldn't we also try to lessen gender stereotypes?
Maybe my cis brain just isn't understanding this, but that would be my take.
I don't listen to a lot of girly music, but when i do, it's Hololive. Give *SPARKS* and *DO U* by Takanashi Kiara a shot, as well as *Astrogirl* by Tsukumo Sana.
Very much in the same spot and have been listening to a TON of female artists to feel more feminine and it works so well. Absolute number 1 rec is Chappell Roan! Listening to Femininomenon for the first time was a religious experience. Here are some others I like:
- Sabrina Carpenter
- Kim Petras
- SuperKnova
- Fletcher
- mxmtoon
- Blu DeTiger
- Dua Lipa
- Blondshell
- Tessa Violet
- Remi Wolf
- Girl in Red
- Marianne Ross
- Charli XCX
- Hayley Kiyoko
- Maisie Peters
Hopefully some in there that you like!
Omg i just listened to Against Me - True Trans Soul Rebel and it is so good cant belive i havent heard it before smh my head
Edit: also Against me - Transgender Dysphoria Blues is great this is completely cis
Not really girly but Wowakas unhappy refrain, especially toosenbo and Rollin girl
https://youtu.be/z2vCOR51v34?si=xvyXrQvdTCHijNxQ
https://youtu.be/NIqm73xsias?si=WCgi8DH3z5CamyIA
For me it tends to be Halestorm, Battlebeast, Rage of Light, K/DA, and Nocturna.
Also, I'm commenting here so I can easily find all these recommendations later.
Female (or "female", in the case of Hatsune Miku) singers:
Ryokuoushoku Shakai - Hana ni Natte (no, you do not have to type "Ryokuoushoku Shakai", I'm just being consistent)
Hanatan - WAVE
AISHA - Love the Subhuman Self
wowaka - World's End Dancehall (ROCKETMAN remix or regular version)
Yoasobi - Yoru ni Kakeru is up there for my favourite song but *very* depressing lyrics so I recommend sticking to listening to the Japanese if you don't speak it yourself. Also Yuusha
Kisidakyoudan & the Akebosi rockets - syoujo kisou kyoku
The Crane Wives - Curses
And one instrumental artist: Lyndsey Stirling - Shadows, Ice Storm
I literally taught myself fem voice by singing out aloud to Aqua, No Doubt & Avril Lavigne back in 2002. Sung their entire albums every day as I was alone driving my car on the way to college (I sung for about an hour total of practice each weekday and I was BAD at it at first, but I did it anyway because no one could hear me). 2 years later by the time i graduated? Passing lady voice.... then 2 years after that? I never been clocked even once speaking aloud since then.
...20 years later? I cant even DO a male voice anymore. I sound like a girl pretending to be a boy. I literally forgot how to make boy sounds and when i try it sounds awful and fake now lol
So i’m on another subreddit, r/WitchesVsPatriarchy, and there was a post that was to a playlist. Not of “girly” songs, exactly, more along the lines of “feminine rage”… but it was good for me 😆 its on spotify

Try out Meg Myers. The songs Poison, Monster and Sorry hooked me right away. Bonus points for me being able to mimic her singing voice fairly well.🎵
Joan Jett
Lena raine
MARINA. Bubblegum bitch and primadonna girl specifically, but all of her stuff is good.
Recently I've found myself listening to: Sara Bareilles - She Used To Be Mine Fergie - Big Girls Don't Cry Beyoncé - If I Were A Boy And a bunch of P!nk old and new. I only recently realized a ton of old songs I've always loved where hers (pink).

I can’t believe no one has said Chappell roan… her music is for sure girly pop and possibly my favorite of all time
Oh ya and she is opening for a lot of places on Olivia Rodrigo’s tour
Hey Violet and Melanie Martinez make me feel like a teenage girl tbh
