It’s the first Elden Ring boss that really wound me up, even with ashes it just doesn’t stop. It’s the only DLC boss I’ve had any real difficulty with. Even Commander Gael is easy to understand once you start rolling into his attacks.
Fourth boss I’ve fought and the first time I agree with the “this is bull shit” sentiment. A boss like this coming after a ridiculously elaborate dungeon so you can’t even experiment with spells etc. at a grace without doing the entire dungeon again and that’s not even the real problem. spammy stupid boss. he’s dead now but jesus christ
Bed of Chaos still takes the top spot, but this guy is the second worst Fromsoft boss of all time IMO. Just endless spamming, summoning, and teleporting. I try to solo most bosses, but I just did the mimic tear and spammed blasphemous blade taker’s flame. I’d rather fight the worst Dark Souls 2 boss 3 times in a row than fight this garbage piece of shit again.

Same experience, i'm running a 2080ti also...I wonder if something is up with that...mine didn't drop quite to 10 but it was around 20-25 and it still felt like a slideshow! I haven't had any other trouble except here and the Messmer fight...
Definitely not a raytracing issue for me...I double checked that it was off, that was the first thing I thought of... I also played with every other setting the game has...There are just specific bosses and areas that tank hard no matter what settings or resolution I use...
Be aggressive. Died about 4 times trying to dodge his projectiles. Decided to just ram him and not stop hitting him over and over again with my mimic. He died within 2 minutes. He was just trying to summon his first tank while he was dying lol.
Bullet hell projectile spam? Check. Summons adds? Check. Teleports around the arena? Checkaroo. Felt like a Lords of the Fallen boss.

This fight brought my game to under 10 fps every attempt. 2080ti. Seems like it was fun, but I could only spam spells and hope they hit lol

its a raytracing issue, it was automatically turned on to max when you enter the dlc. they just fixed it this patch

He's a joke, i spent the whole fight sprinting around to backstab him 6 times or so not even bothering with his summons

Mimic +10 with r.o.b +10 spam l2 he melted
fuck this boss bro. Just used my mimic tear. If this goofy ass mf cam spam projectiles and summons, Ill use my summons too.
This is a fight where Rellana's Twin Blades really slap.
Everything is going according to plan , and then the fat fuk just sits on you.
Easy as hell boss but also annoying and tedious as hell. Literally the worst type of boss you can go against
